All good. Was easy to find and in a fantastic position opposite a beautiful park and easy walk into the city. Renovations were happening while we stayed there but once complete It will be the ideal place to stay while visiting Launceston. Parking was a bit tight but once again I think that was because of the renovations that were in progress while we were there, skip bins and tradies everywhere. The restaurant and bar staff were fantastic. The bar man on the night we stayed was excellent. Went out of his way to give us a good experience. The food was delicious and service quick and friendly. We would highly recommend the restaurant. Overall good experience and would happily stay again.

Comfortable and convenient, I had everything I needed while on a business trip.

We had a great time with friendly staff and amazing food. Place was undergoing renovations which was fine. tradies left place as good as you could hope for. Our problem was we could hear our neighbours going to the toilet at 4.00 am

my room was way too full of furniture. It was if there was a set menu that had to fit. The room i was in did NOT have the capacity. I arrived at 8.30pm. I had just flown in. I asked if there was any food options? Answer - no the bar is open but we have no food. You could get something delivered! I was down in Launceston for business, so I was on the road before 7.00am. In most parts of the world, 7.00am is NOT early. Before 7.00am at the Mecure, there is NO reception attendee, there is NO breakfast, and there is NO service. I left via the key drop and had breakfast elsewhere. I still haven't received a Tax Invoice.

Nice, comfortable room with a bed as good as home to sleep in. The bistro downstairs meant we didn't even need to leave the building if we didn't want to. Our favourite restaurant was a short walk away and the centre of the city was equally close.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, well set out and all the information you need is easily located and applied. The facilities are great and very comfortable. The food is also great. I would like a symbol on the shower handle so I know which way to turn for hot or cold. That is my only hiccup. The views over City Park and out to Invermay were beautiful. Spectacular experience.

My experience (over nearly two years now) has always been very positive... With just the one exception. On a recent stay, I was in one of the newly refurbished rooms on the ground floor and had no hot water for my morning shower. I advised Reception of the problem, however by the time it was rectified, it was too late for me and I had to improvise on a cold morning with a cold shower. A verbal apology was offered. I feel this was not in keeping with the quality standards I have come to expect (and enjoy) from the Mercure. A verbal apology for a cold shower, I don't think is sufficient. I am also an Accor Plus member. I say this in the full knowledge I have stayed at the Mercure without incident many times.
