« Quite nice stay in the city center »

Reception guys are great but the the view from the window was awful. Also, towels were taken away and because of some reason not given back until I asked for them. Internet connection was great.

« A great (but confusing) hotel »

Great hotel, great location. Good modern, stylish rooms/en-suites. Nice bar and very pleasant and helpful staff. Very reasonable rates. I'd stay again for sure. My room wagon the 6th floor and not all lifts went to floor 6 so initially, reaching my room was confusing and a challenge!

« Not for wheelchair users »

Good location, but you don't know much about what wheelchair accessible means. Your front door should not be up a ramp with a threshold and also an independent wheelchair user doesn't want to have to ask for help every single time leaving and entering your hotel. So get rid of one of the three things, the steep ramp in, the threshold or the door that has to be pulled out and isn't automatically opened like most hotels. Next , your rooms need a lot of work. Firstly, your doors are incredibly heavy, I had to hold on to your "closet" in order to use my right arm to push it to the door stop, then again you have a huge threshold at the door. So the door is now stuck on the door stop after me pushing and pulling with all my strength, and now I have to pop a wheelie over your threshold, but somehow stay on it halfway in order to reach the door to pull it off the stopper to close it. And getting in, having to push the door open, especially if I have something from shopping, is very very difficult. And this is a review from a very strong wheelchair user who has very good upper body strength, so just imagine someone who's not a wheelchair athletic at all coming there, they would need constant help, and this is the overall attitude that needs to change in your hotel, and your city, there are independent wheelchair users that travel alone just like other people, and we don't deserve to be made fun of by your staff, to be rushed out of your bar when it's only 9pm, to have housekeeping play pranks on us every time they clean our rooms, etc, etc, etc. Housekeeping threw away something every time they were in there, that it or they just took it. Oh by the way it wasn't trash, they knew my slippers weren't trash for example, and so on. All hotels have issues, but what was one of the annoying ones with yours you had no way out to the chess courtyard from the unfriendly bar for people in wheelchairs, so every single time I had to deal with a sarcastic eye roll from whomever I asked to open the gate so I could go in. You have a lot of work to do, and I left unfortunately £500 worth of my stuff behind, so make sure it goes to charity. You made me at times feel like throwing myself in the canal that's how horrible the attitudes of most of your staff was. And it gets worse at every hotel. I'm thrilled you find it hysterically funny someone in a wheelchair is traveling alone and wants to sit in your "bistro" to eat or drink, but guess what? It's actually normal. Adjust your attitude.

« Very modern interior, good breakfast, great price. »

Our experience at the hotel does fully match the price for the room. The lack of the space in room was fully substituted by very modern and cozy interior. The room was clean, just a little dust. In general the hotel was very quiet, just that we got a double room, so at some times we could hear the neighbors. The breakfast was very good, a lot of options, fresh bread, and also as vegans we didn't stay hungry. And the best asset of the hotel - the location. As it is located in the very center of the city it is very convenient to explore the city by walk and to get to restaurants and shops, and the train station and bus station. We were happy to stay here, we would gladly stay again.

« Riga Centre stay »

I didn't do much research and was unfamiliar with Riga. The hotel was very convenient to the central railway station which was great, and reasonably accessible to the old part of the city. At first I was a little underwhelmed by the locality, but it grew on me quickly and everywhere I wanted to go was an easy walk, and the easy access to the main railway station made it a great place to base oneself.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean room. Room was a bit colder than expected but okay. I guess that's winter time in Riga.

« Price-quality is top! »

I loved that the hotel is situated right in the centre- the best place for a stay. The room was really big , with carpet on the floor and a proper heating The personnel was extremely friendly and responsive. Most of all I loved the price. If I return to Riga,I'll choose this hotel if the price remains the same
