A very comfortable and relaxing two day stay. The service, food and quality of the room were excellent. I had everything I needed and will definitely stay again. The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly.

Easy check in process and a nice room. One set of amenities for a 3 night stay seemed a bit frugal. We had breakfast (included) and dinner each night. We ordered a lovely bottle of Henshke wine. Our server almost filled the glasses. They need some instruction in how to serve wine. The food the first night was just okay. We ate on our balcony the 2nd night. The meal was actually really good, so we went back to the restaurant on the 3rd night. Our meals were fantastic. When we went to the bar for a drink at happy hour, the lady wasted about 3 litres of beer trying to pour us one. Again. Some training and guidance. The staff did not look happy. Nobody asked us if we wanted another drink, or any bar snacks. I only mention this because the resort has so much potential. It just needs a bit of enthusiasm. The gym area is amazing. We only discovered it on the last day. there is no mention of it in the room at all? If we had more bathroom amenities, friendlier staff with more knowledge, maybe a map of the facilities? and a little more attention, it would have been the perfect little holiday.

The view was perfect. However the cutlery in the kitchen was all dirty and not cleaned. So to avoid being charged myself for not have left the room with clean cutlery we spent the Sunday morning washing the dishes and cutlery.

« Mostly good, especially the lovely staff, just a couple of things that could be improved. »

We have stayed before and on both occasion have enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the hotel and the area. The young lady at reception and all the kitchen/bar ladies were so happy, friendly and genuinely caring. Some even remembered us from our previous visit. We were disappointed with our room, especially the shower area.

Staff were most helpful. Room information was scarce advising times meals at the restaurant were available & availability of Foxtel etc. Only concern was shower set up & inability of water to drain away quickly enough.

« Only a short stay but we will be back »

We were welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our room was terrific and in good clean condition. The public area and stairs to the lake were under repair, but will look great when complete. The lap pool was clean and mildly heated and was very enjoyable. Pity the day we were there was not hot so we didn't use the lagoon pool. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar and particularly the service provided by Jade. She also gave excellent suggestions from the menu. We have already discussed returning with friends in the near future.

« Comfortable and relaxing stay »

This was our seventh visit to Pelican Waters, and the place is as reliable as ever. A good-sized one-bedroom spa suite on level 4 with a balcony overlooking the pool and part of the golf course. It also has a kitchenette, so you can prepare simple meals if you want to, although our package included a well-stocked continental breakfast with a few savouries as well as cereals, toast, croissants, jams, fruits, etc. If you want a big nightlife, this resort is not for you. It is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing - that's why we like it, and keep coming back.

Great service, beautiful and big apartment. Pool does look a bit tired though and was pretty cold even though it was 28 degree days.

This is our second time staying here. We just love it, this time we had a view over the lake and pool. the room was great, air con a bit noisy but overall, very roomy and has everything we needed. The restaurant is fantastic. Don't bother going anywhere else the food is amazing and you must try the house special. All the staff were fantastic and looked after us perfectly. We are coming back later in the year as we just find it a getaway from it all without being too far away from everything.

Even though this was a gift but knowing the actual costs of the rooms, the experience we had was not enjoyable. Room was old, drawers broken and unusable, bed rock hard and so old, blanket was marked and so filthy and obviously not be laundered for months. Fridge froze all our food and drinks. Lounge uncomfortable. Had a dryer but no washing machine??? Crazy. Was not a welcoming unit at all. Not somewhere you could enjoy a couples weekend away.

The mattress in the unit is a pillow top mattress - I understand that this may not meet your required level of softness for sleeping. Our Spa Suites all have dryers, and washing machines are located on the ground floor for guests use. Great stay, lovely staff, a bit run down, great location, terrible sleep mattresses were bad and it also had a spring that had popped out of the side of the mattress. Crack in basin with bugs coming out of it.
