Personnel is very friendly.you feel like family. However hotel starts to need some uplifting carpet need o to be changed. This hotel has seen very high rate of occupation. Not enough clothing storage space. Price is very high compared to other hotels of two stars in region. I paid 266 SF on average per day.

Plus: great location, very convenient check-in and check-out, functional rooms with rather new furniture, modern bathrooms To be improved: unfortunately my room was not cleaned properly and particularly in the bathroom there were many hairs left everywhere. breakfast is of such a low quality that I skipped it after the first try - and the only take-away piece that I needed (a banana) was not available in 3/4 mornings. I'd prefer the option to opt out of breakfast with a respective rate adjustment as long as the breakfast variety and quality is on such a low level.

I stayed in Ibis Mont Blanc from 9.10 to 12.10.2018. Working for the Government of Finland, I come to Geneva 1-2 times a year for business. The last four times I have stayed in Ibis Mont Blanc and recommended it to my colleagues as well, I found it convenient for me. This time I left the hotel on Friday 12.10 for the weekend saying that I was to come back on Monday evening 15.10 to stay until 19.10 (the reservation was already done in July), and I left my big suitcase at the reception. So from Friday evening until Monday morning I stayed by friends in France. On Monday, back at work, I was chairing a big meeting in ILO, with no possibility to check my emails but very sporadically. During the afternoon session I had received a message from the Finnish travel agency, who had done the reservation for me, on my name. I had an opportunity to react to that only at 17:30 when we had a break for a half an hour. The hotel had sent an email to the agency in the morning saying that my credit card was rejected and asked me to send the number of the new credit card by 14:00 o'clock. The travel agency had sent me the message only at 15:00 o'clock saying that I should call the hotel. At the break at 17:00, I tried to call the hotel, used some 15 minutes for that, but got through only at the third time (by the way, the waiting music is such a loud atonic noise that you hardly can hear the person talking in the repondeur automatic). I started to tell my problem and gave my name, and the person in the phone said cheerfully that there was no problem, ah oui madame, la reservation, c'est confirmé, à tout à l'heure! So I was relieved. We continued to work until 20:40 and when I got back to the hotel at 21:20 it turned out that there was no reservation for me. The person I had spoken with on telephone had mixed me with someone else. You can imagine my feeling after a very long and hard working day, the next day going to be as demanding and starting early. Fortunately the man at the reception was extremely helpful, he remembered me from the previous week, made some calls and managed to arrange me another hotel for that night. I am very grateful for him. The problem turned out to be that my company credit card had too low limit. The next day when I could contact my workplace, they were able to increase the limit. All of this adventure is of course not the fault of Ibis hotel, but what makes me very angry is the fact that the guy on phone assured me at 17:45 that everything was ok (he did not even ask me to spell my name) - at that time I was still among colleagues in ILO and could have had an overnight place by someone, if I had known that there was no hotelroom for me. I also would have expected a bit more flexibility in this case that I have been coming to Ibis Mont Blanc several times, had never no problem with payment, my contact information was in the system... why did not someone contact me directly, telling that there was a problem? I could have had time to fix it during Monday. Now the only message was sent to the travel agency, who contacted me far too late. All this left me with a BIG disappointment and it is sure that I will never ever use Ibis Mont Blanc not to talk about other Ibis-hotels in my life.

Room clean and comfortable. Excellent customer service from all the staff who were always friendly and helpful. Food choice limited for people with dairy,wheat, egg allergies/sensitivities. Also lots of people cannot tolerate smoked meats. Travel pass supplied by the hotel a big bonus. Overall a very good stay at this hotel.

First time stayed at IBIS Geneva and good experience. Front desk friendly and helpful. Due to flight cancelled (bad weather in Barcelona), we only managed to check into hotel second night. GM Mr Broutin is understanding and made efforts to offer discount on the first absence night. Much appreciated. Aside from the above, the room is clean and neat. Good spread of breakfast. Comfy and cosy stay. Will certainly return next time. Thank you.

Guest room was well designed and fully functional. Location - a four minute walk from the train station - was ideal for overnight stay a short train ride from the airport. We appreciated the attention to design detail in the breakfast space but found the emphasis on white and the futuristic furniture a little overwhelming.

The hotel is very well situated. The staff were efficient and welcoming. The room was well set up for business purposes and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The breakfast area is a little cramped. Breakfast was quite good but would be improved by providing jugs/flasks of cofee rather than the small machine which was slow and needed to be re-filled frequently.
