THe above mentioned people were Overseas International Dog Judges, guests of ours. They had travelled a long way that morning and were anxious to get settled into their rooms. Unfortunately, due to the football game between Penrith & the Roosters, we couldn't easily find parking. That was only the beginning. Our guests were also very hungry but when they went into the club to have a late lunch, everything except a sandwich bar was closed or closing. The final straw came when they went back to the club for dinner at 7:00 p.m. only to be told it would be two or three hours before they could get a meal.

we stay at penrith we were advise by club member we should of been given a temp members type card for club discounts went back asked at reception they knew nothing about it so whos right SO we get charged full cost all night

We should have offered you access to a social membership which is $5 per person and is valid until October each year no matter when purchased as per all Panthers memberships. Once this is purchased you can use at anytime either when staying at the Hotel or as a day visitor. There was no parking available for paying hotel guests because the football was on we parked 4 streets away and had to carry our bags we were not familiar with the area l believe we payed good money to stay the weekend and having a car park available should be a given

Night one was not up to standard was woken up at 2.21am with noise from other guest returning to motel our room was located at entrance of motel, could not get back to sleep. Day two no problems.

It’s our first time at Mercure Penrith and definitely we will cone back the rooms are very comfortable and newly renovated, the lobby area is very cozy and just a few steps to panthers club the staff were all fantastic from check in to check out. And there are so much to do around the area and lots of good places to eat as well

Fridge was so small you couldn’t really fit anything in it. Consider putting a bin in the bathroom we had one small bin which was overflowing by checkout. Shower didn’t really have any pressure it dribbled out of one side of the shower head. We had a nice stay , it could have been better with these small things fixed.

Our accommodation was respite accommodation due to M4 roadworks. Overall, we all enjoyed the stay . Staff were polite and helpful. Room service was quick and food served hot and it was enjoyed. The only one negative was the lack of parking especially when the football was on. It would be good if some of the parking was reserved for hotel guests.

Last weekend because of demolition works on the M4 bridge we were provided with a room at the Mecure. It is unusual to stay in a hotel in your local area. The hotel was good, at checkin we were provided with a gift pack consisting of water bottles and some sweets. I thought this was a nice gesture from Mecure considering we were uprooted from our homes. The room was comfortable and modern and clean. We had a drink at the bar near Reception one evening. Nice comfortable area and good service. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Penrith. It adjoins Panthers Club where apart from restaurants or a show I generally don’t frequent. There are a couple of nice restaurants down by the river that have opened recently not far away from the hotel. Overall a nice hotel.

We always stay at Mercure when visiting family. Comfortable rooms that are always very clean & fresh. Stayed in many of the rooms even during renovations. The room we were in last weekend had a lack of towel hanging space plus no toilet brush. Otherwise the room was fine. Staff are wonderful.

We enjoyed staying at Mecure Penrith, the rooms were tidy and housekeeping were accomodating. Perhaps have the room setup for the number of guests next time, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 childern but there were only 2 days and 3 beverage glasses/cups. I had to order tea bags and mile every day.
