Levin on reception couldn’t have been more gracious efficient or welcoming. My booking on line hadn’t come through, probably my fault, he sorted it out, completely non plussed and after a long and tiring day I really appreciated it.

We found the hotel hard to find at night as your web site only states the two cross streets with no number and the gps would only take you to the cross road where in fact your hotel access is slightly along Mulgoa street tucked behind a fast food outlet. You cannot see the Mercure sign until you are right in front of it. Also if perhaps you can let people know there is no restaurant when making a booking as we had our elderly mother with us and it was difficult to get her in the complimentary golf car provided to take us to Panthers for dinner.

1. We left the clean my room sign on our door at 7.30am and went out all day got back 3.45pm room wasnt even Cleaned or anything not impressed. The breakfast and restaurant was actually in the Panthers leagues club which is stupid. Not impressed at all with our stay im a accors advantage plus sliver member not happy spent alot money over the 2 day stay in hotel. Some of the staff couldnt speak fluent english i asked questions too had no idea what i was on about. Will not be going back there im really disgusted. Never got things i normally get in sydney accor hotels i get offered high level and free upgrades in rooms and i get treated well. At this one i didn't.

The room was clean and simple which we liked however there was not enough washers to accommodate all of us and when i asked front desk they didnt have any, i think if house keeping go home the night staff need access to more linen. The check in and out was easy but the breakfast at kellys was horrible and it was all cold!

« It was lovely except my family couldn't sleep because of the noise »

The checkin staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely but when it came to trying to get to sleep we couldn't due to noise from what seemed to be a boiler room / air conditioner unit or something above our room. It was loud and constant throughout the night. We hadn't noticed it earlier probably due to normal daytime noises. Sadly this spoiled what would otherwise have been a lovely hotel.

« Overnight stay with the family. Had everything that we needed. Friendly staff. »

Only stayed overnight. Easy access into the Panthers Club. Beds were comfortable. Found the light for the air conditioner control panel bright and would blink. other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Quite pleasant. However we virtually only slept there as we were visiting family in the area & were with them most of the time. A hook to hang the hand towel on in the bathroom would be a good idea. Also there is nowhere to hang dressing gown, clothes etc in the bathroom if you use the available hooks for your towels

Staff were nice but clearly under staffed. System issues at checkin and the room wasn’t equipped with the basic requirements ie not enough towels for the group, no bottle opener and we wanted an in room movie with no instructions. As members of panthers we weren’t asked to activate the room card so couldn’t use the direct access to the club and reception seemed surprised when we asked how on our return, it was never asked. We have stayed before and our previous experiences have been pleasing (but never offered club card activation). Left disappointed this time

When we stay overnight in Penrith, this is where we stay. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the recent revamp means the bathrooms are great. Check in and out is hassle free and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby that are suitable either for families or people who want a night out.
