Always stay at the Mercure Panthers...service is always friendly....Rooms tidy and prices are competitivei roam around the Sydney metro for 3 days every month on business and always stay here...Highly recommend it

Hotel was conveniently located at Panthers (and all its facilities). Room was modern and clean and quiet. Reception staff were polite and professional. Able to control room temperature. Always love the convenience of being able to make tea/coffee in my own room. As an added bonus shops are nearby (Coles is well within walking distance).

« Great amenities and comfort, but noisy »

Excellent service and room facilities but we could hear the Neighbours TV through our wall, the people above us walking around, and on our first night in the hotel the people across the hall were in the hallway talking, laughing and partying very noisily and disrupting our sleep. I told the front desk about this in the morning and they let me know I should have called them during the night, which did not occur to me while I was half asleep trying to get back to sleep.

We were given the furthest room from the lift, all good. The smell of fresh paint was not pleasant as renovations were taking place. The new carpet smelt strong as well. The room was great, shame there was no mini bar and water provided. I would expect that for the price.

« Lack of a bathtub & considerable recurring internet drop outs were very frustrating. I completed online feedback at the time of my stay. »

9pm was a too early for the close of food room service for me & restaurant menu that I thought were available from room service (pamphlets implied this) had to be collected by myself & not by room service. The room was clean & comfortable but I expected a bathtub & a better view of the range. Staff were as helpful & polite as they could be to assist in rectifying internet issues but could not stop the consistent drop outs both evening & morning. There were phoneline problems when booking the hotel.

I was provided a balcony room '#350'. The room was well presented and the bed was comfortable. For a first timer and with the construction happening next door I found the hotel entry difficult to navigate to.

We had a great time in Penrith a few plans had to be cancelled due to the rain but we found other activities to suit. Our stay at the Mercure was nice. The girl on the front desk on Thursday night was brilliant,attentive and a pleasure to speak with. The room was as expected. The only thing that I would comment negatively about was the fresh paint smell was very strong.
