This is a very comfortable hotel by my standards and it was provided by my employer to accompany my guests at the start of a multi-day ski-tour. All worked well, the food was good and service was generally good too. However it took over 30 minutes for our to be served drinks at the bar when we were trying to have our first briefing, so we had to go through to dinner, and this took over 2.5 hours to complete. We could chat over dinner but it would have helped to have finished earlier just to finalize our plans for the early start the next day.

Despite the excellent room, the very freindly service, the good breakfast, our stay was diqqapopinting due to the resatarant. The ambiance in the room is not very cosy, the large room is better suited for the breeakfast, for dinner not so much especially for two (not cosy, too much like a refrectoire) the menu choice was nort very apealling, but the fondue we had was OK. To top it off, of the limited wine list two of the selection i made were unavailable so we had to settle for a third choice (OK if you have 100 references but not for a limited choice)

The hotel was pleasant and the staff helpful. The room was a little sparse (perhaps big enough to include a sofa). The complimentary water was good but the tea / coffee in room could be better. China mugs for example would be better than paper cups. The room could perhaps be modernised.

Stay was fine but was disappointed that you couldn't organise an early breakfast for us on our final morning. Promised for 6-15 but restaurant was still closed at that time so we were forced to leave.

Sadly just a short stay this time but my Wife and I loved our stay at the Mercure in Brides. The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff really friendly. We had Room 234 and were delighted with the standard and quality of the room The village has the Olympic cable car which takes you up to Meribel & the transfer connections from there so plenty to do, the Mercure is a perfect base !

Although I have a platinum membership, no welcome drinks were offered at first, I had to ask myself. I think there was no information about being a member. The service could have been a little better. But the hotel and the room were fine.

Food was amazing. Spa was nice. The brown and beige decor is somewhat dated, 70's-looking decor was a little ugly but the bed was very comfortable and the overall experience was great value for money.

Very friendly staff. Nice location and scenery. Really enjoyed the lounge bar, especially the chess set and the pool table. The dinner in the restaurant was also delicious and the wait staff were great.

I made 2 separate bookings with hotel, one via booking.com (2 nights) and second one (extra night) directly on the phone with hotel. There were 6 rooms booked all in all. I asked staff at reception in person upon check in to merge both bookings so myself and my friends didn't have to change rooms. Reception assured us it will be taken care of, and again the next day we were told all is ok. Then upon coming back to hotel in the evening some of my friends had their personal belongings moved, their water, beer, wines and a phone bank charger were all gone!! Reception denied all knowledge of this and were very arrogant. Phone bank charger was later found in the staff room, but still no trace of the water and spirits (I think hotel staff kept those). On top of that reception couldn't get that all rooms, extras and massage I booked at the spa were all to be charged to the same credit card. I even sent en e-mail with copy of the credit card before arriving to hotel, spoke to them on the phone and in person at check in but they still insisted it was to be paid separately. It's like nobody is talking to each other in this bloody hotel. Never ever coming back. Reception staff act like they're doing us a favor letting us stay at their hotel!

Excellent location, breakfast, helpful service. Room size OK for 3 persons but bathroom (room 233) requires urgent refurbishment (shower); also can hardly understand or appreciate the revolutionary design of washing basin... We had one relatively minor but rather annoying problem that one of the cosmetics of my daughter disappeared from the bathroom on the second day of our stay... reported it to the reception to have a word with cleaners... Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay - Thank you!

The hotel accommodation was fine and well located, with a few local bars and restaurants. It was, however, very disappointing that one member of staff chastised 2 members of our party for using a marked stairway which was apparently for staff only (although not so sign posted). Other than this unfortunate incident, other staff were friendly.
