I was very happy of booking with le club accor and obtaining the breakfast included. I was happy to be up-graded. The breakfast was amazing, the room very nice especially the painted ceiling, and we also loved the rooftop bar and the location.

It's a nice place with friendly staff, but quite a few features that aren't good: door frame of bedroom was falling off; mineral water bottles were refills (and probably made me I'll before I noticed); taxi wasnt booked by reception after ordering it. Apart from all that, quite comfortable and roof has decent views.

we had several issues one got fixed but the most important one not. Both shower and bathtub were leaking, we had to put towels everywhere on the floor every time we were using them...

Location is good, room is good, but the service was really bad. I’m an accor platinum member, I always stay in accor hotels when I travel, this is my worst experience. 17 Aug afternoon - We came back to our room and found it in horrible condition - wet floor, flooded bathroom, rags everywhere, ceiling opened, our belongings also got wet. There wasn’t any note to explain what happened to our room. We called the reception and were told that it was raining heavily and the room above us had their windows opened, so their room got flooded and our ceiling was leaking. They sent technicians and housekeeping to clean up. 17 Aug evening - I gave my feedback and suggested the hotel to offer some compensation (e.g. free laundry) to the affected guests, they agreed and offered free laundry. We filled up the laundry bag and form according to instructions. 18 Aug evening - We came back to our room and noticed our laundry didn’t get picked up in the morning. We called and were told that the form wasn’t filled up correctly. However, when the staff came to pick up the laundry, I asked what’s missing from my form and he said our form was all good. I was told that I would only get my laundry back by tomorrow noon because we missed the laundry window (even though they should have picked it up in the morning). 19 Aug morning - I started to doubt the quality of the service, so I called the reception before I went out to remind them about my laundry, they confirmed that I would get it back by noon. 19 Aug 2pm - Laundry wasn’t there. I called and staff promised to send my laundry before 6pm. 19 Aug 7pm - Still no laundry. I called again and the staff replied that we would only get our laundry before our flight (11pm). 19 Aug 8:30pm - Finally, we got our laundry back. I was really disappointed with the service. Flooded room and bad crisis management, that’s a rare occasion, I let it go. 1-2 times missing my laundry, I gave the hotel the benefit of doubt. However, they just kept failing to realize their promises. Every time I called, I explained the whole story and highlighted that this is a case with repeated mistakes and we are quite upset, but no one took it seriously / follow up. Individual staffs were okay and polite, but as a team / system, it was very bad.

Good hotel, nice staff and great location. . Hammam there is not recommended at all.

Comfortable hotel, great view from the rooftop, nice and friendly staff however we had a very bad experience with the Hammam. It was not worth our money. The hotel outsourced staff to give us the hammam, they were not unprofessional and inexperienced - we were very disappointed.

i stayed here for 5 nights. the location is excellent, being close to the galata tower, galata bridge, and walking distance to eminonu. just 4 tram stops to the sultanahmet area. if you're arriving by the airport shuttle bus, a short taxi ride (about 15-mins) will take you to the hotel. the check-in process was relatively efficient and ambiance of the lobby was inviting. the rooms were clean, had a pleasant smelt, and a generous window for natural light. but be cautioned - the room doors cannot be locked from the inside (the lock didn't work and there was no chain lock) but reception assured me 'rooms can only be assessed with a card key'. breakfast option was decent although the variety remained much the same every day. now, the downside - the rooms are quite small - fits a king-sized bed with a TV console - and that was a standard/deluxe room. if you're travelling as a family, book the larger rooms which some have a terrace. also, housekeeping service leaves room for improvement. i had a DND sign placed on the outside of the door (since the door couldn't be locked inside), yet despite this, housekeeping rang the bell once and entered without hesitation. i was in the bathroom getting ready for a shower. you can imagine my shock and surprise! housekeeping seemed apologetic and provided me with extra toiletries. duh. also, towels were mysteriously dissapearing during my stay. first the face towel was removed. then the hand towel. then the floor towel. were they removing them because i was 1 pax? seems strange to me. overall, the m gallery galata was a pleasant stay. i enjoyed the proximity to places of interest.

Stayed here for the second time along with my 2 kids, A very nice property right in the heart of istanbul with nothing being too far, situated in close proximity to the galata tower, karakoy tram station is only a 10 minute walk away which can take you to Sultanahmet are in minutes ., Beyoglu funicular is a 5 minute walk away taking you straight to istiklal street The hotel offers extremely comfortable rooms with great amenities including a historic Hamam as well, The rooftop bar offers splendid views of the golden horn. Food at the Anton Peran restaurant offers a good variety with surprisingly good rates for a on hotel restaurant. The breakfast selection was huge offering something for everyone to enjoy However the splendid property and location aside what truly won my heart over was the fantastic customer service, Right from check in to check out we felt like we were staying at home with every member of the staff seeming as our family, extremely courteous and welcoming. My daughter fell sick during our trip and the entire staff went to their lengths to provide us with whatever we needed and lended a helping hand with things like finding a pharmacy or a doctor etc, And their constant checkups to ask if she’s feeling better simply wrapped the entire experience up with a silver lining, A special mention to Baran from the front desk who took it upon him as his duty to look after us, We have never received such impeccable service in any hotel worldwide so far, Will definitely be coming back here to stay, Highly recommended to any travelers going to istanbul for a vacation weather they be a family, couple or individuals

2 nights in Istanbul with Galata MGallery. The location was nice and all staff were friendly. Except before checking out time one staff knocked our room door to check minibar which I never experienced from anywhere else before. He should have waited until we went down.

My wife and I stayed at the Galata hotel from 8-12 July and were extremely happy with our stay. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from and the staff at the breakfast were also warm & friendly. The receptionist Mr Brian was kind and cheerful, our room was cleaned by Ms Naemat and she did a great job, the therapist Mr Mehmat at the hamam was very polite and gave great service. All and all a very satisfying experience just wish that our room had a better view. We keep coming back to Istanbul for work and would love to stay here again. Dilip M Dubai.

The hotel is location in the banking district and is in fact is an old bank building. I recommend using a private guide for a one or two walking tour of this wonderful and exciting city. The hotel facilities and staff are very nice and accommodating. The location was only a ten minute walk to the River Bosphorus where you must visit in the evening for drinks or small dinner. You just sit there watching all the people, ferry boats, and the excitement of the city. Super experience!

Loved the view of the room. However the breakfast was a disappointment. Didn’t much like the staff. The lady at the breakfast area was rather impolite. The only person who was helpful was Furqan at the front desk.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the river, the terrace “where you can relax with a drink” and the proximity to sights of Istanbul. No where on the hotels website does it mention a nightclub that has deafening music till 3am and does not allow any kind of relaxation on the terrace. A late afternoon visit to the terrace was greeted with disapproval, as was the request for a drink. Recent reviews mentioned the additional fee for a 2nd person in the room, a fault of the hotel booking site, not mine. An extra 30 euro was requested for second breakfast, a very high amount for breakfast, other patrons have reported the same. Other rooms in our party were requested 15 euro per person extra, suddenly half the price. The shutters in our room allowed no darkening of the room with streetlights directly out our windows so if you need darkness to sleep don’t stay here. At 180 euro per night for a room, I want a refund. Previous responses from management stating “ we will note your preferences next time and move your room away from the party noise” are just not good enough.

On the other hand, the stated amount of 30 Eur is not a breakfast fee but second person fee of your reservation which was booked as single occupancy. Regarding the light isolation of the room window have also curtains along with the shutters which increases the light isolation.
