We travel frequently, and choose MGallery because the service is always so consistent, and the properties always exceptional. We’ve stayed in at least 15 difference MGallery hotels, in many countries, and many for multiple stays. This was nothing like an MGallery experience, with a multitude of little problems throughout our stay and inadequate recovery from staff who just didn’t seem to care. -First of all, location was great. - Booked via the Accor app, as a Silver privilege member. Apparently default setting is for one person. On arrival, staff adamant we had to pay extra €30/night for a second person, and were more interested in proving we’d made the mistake than resolving the issue. Checked the Accor app following, and it shows no difference in price for one or two guests, with no extra charge. Raised this again with staff at check-out, who weren’t interested in resolving, and we ended up being charged. - Noise from nightclub in the hotel made sleep not possible. Called reception at 0130 to request earplugs, however was told they don’t carry them. Was told that “it isn’t a problem, the club closes at 0300” - terrible response. Another staff member called back to offer a change of room, which was not suitable in the middle of the night. There was no further follow up from staff. - Minibar was not restocked for the duration of our stay. In fact, empty bottles weren’t collected for disposal for the first two days of our stay. - Woke up after the first night covered in bites, all over legs and body. Requested the sheets be changed, which seemed to make and improvement... - Room air conditioning temp wouldn’t go beneath 24°c. Called reception once again to see if it could be fixed - was told maintenance would fix it, however nobody ever attended or checked, and the temperature never changed for the rest of our stay. - Wifi drops out every few minutes. It re-connects in a matter of seconds, however just long enough to cause pages to not load or videos to drop out. - Went to the bar one night - it had kept us awake so we thought “if you can’t beat them, join them”. Rudest staff member of the stay greeted us with “Yes, what?”. Ordered a drink, and was then presented with the check and told “closed” with no further explanation. This was at 2330, despite a sign on the door and notes in the guest information stating they closed at 0200. - Ordered Turkish Rose from room service. After it didn’t arrive for 15 minutes, we called again and were told they didn’t have the Turkish but would send up the more expensive French Rose. Apparently staff hadn’t thought to tell us, and yet we were charged for the higher priced French, instead of the lower price wine we actually wanted. Unfortunately for us, there wasn’t a single day of our stay where there wasn’t some sort of new problem or another interaction with a staff member who just didn’t care. Not the fuss-free experience we’ve come to know and love from MGallery. I also checked reviews to see if my stay was out of the ordinary - I thought I might’ve just had really bad luck. Turns out a lot of these problems are quite common, and are responded to with a generic cut-and-paste response of “Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent further occurrence” - which frankly, is not good enough, and only serves to further annoy already disgruntled guests. I expect follow-up to this feedback, and at the very least, refund of the additional fee charged in contrary to the Accor booking platform. If I don’t receive a suitable response quickly, I’ll take the issue up with Accor directly.

The staff of the hotel were incredibly friendly and always ready before any need or inquiry from our side. Always attentive and providing useful information. The hotel itself is fantastic. The restaurant and its food are one of its highlights. Definitely, the possibility to come back to the hotel and spend some time relaxing in the hotel's hammam is just invaluable.

I’m fully satisfied by friendliness of the staff and overall impression by the hotel. It looks quite posh and I really loved it! I faced just 2 ‘but’: 1. I paid for the room with view on the Galata Tower or the Golden horn. I was happy to get the room with the burn on the golden horn (1306). And the view was actually 50/50 on the golden horn and the hotel bar. I could see everything in the bar and visitors could see almost everything in my room. The solution is to close the window but I paid for the room with the view. Vicious circle. Moreover, they held parties in the bar till 2 am. It was very noisy when you’re trying to have some rest and even sleep. 2. The Hammam. First day I was informed that the Hammam is not free of Chester for guests. Then receptionist said that I can use it but it closes at 10pm but tomorrow it’s open till 11 pm. Next day I came at 9.45 pm and the guy in Hammam said that they were going to close at 10 pm. Ok, I came the other day at 4 pm and I was told that Hammam is fully booked and there was no way to use it that day. Next day I checked out so eventually I didn’t use the Hammam. Just wasted time :( Everything but these 2 points was marvelous.

The building is very old and beautiful but it’s situated on a one-way street of electrical goods shops which is always blocked by mini-vans loading and unloading boxes. We had to leave our taxi and go on foot almost every time we tried to get to the hotel. There was a big crowd in the lobby on our check in day and nobody payed any attention to our arrival. The entrance stairs have no slides for havy luggage and I had to wait in the street until my husband came up to the reception, which was also crowded, however only one manager was available to handle all the people waiting in the line. My husband also had to wait for quite a long time until he could get someone’s attention and the bellboy was sent to help us with our suit cases. We booked a superior room but we got a standard one which was tiny (with half electricity sockets out of work) and knew that only on the day of departure when I suddenly had a chance to gaze into a real superior room on our floor. The waiters in the breakfast area are numerous but absolutely unprofessional - had to wait very long to get still water or order coffee and tea. The music in the restaurant was so loud that we had to shout to listen to each other not to say it was not easy to make any order. I asked the waiter to make the music a bit down but no reaction followed. All in all our impression is very poor - we have absolutely no desire to come back to this hotel any more.

Very friendly reception by Baran Deniz who cared for us throughout the stay. Small room but with a warm and friendly interior. Our room maid Asiye kept everything very clean and tidy. During the weekend there were indeed some parties in the rooftop bar - quite busy and noisy but despite other guest reports our room was calm and quiet. No disturbance at all! Variety and quality of breakfast has been exceptional and with excellent service. So overall we have been very satisfied and would be glad to come back!

We stayed here over a weekend and had a lot of disturbance from the bar/club on the top floor. Once we raised this with the hotel they went out of their way to resolve our complaint so it was okay. It would be best to make it clear on check in whether the room is a noisy room or not and give guests the option to choose at that point

I had booked 3 nights at the hotel. When I arrived I was instantly given keys to a room which apparently was reserved for me. Room 1102. It was a really nice room however as night arrived the room was almost part of a party which was going on in a restaurant located right above where the music extremely loud with ppl thumping their feet on the ground and shouting really loud. When I called the reception I was told that the party will end at 1:30 am however the noise went on until 2am and we could not sleep. Once the noise was over and we finally were able to sleep at 6:30am the noise started again with ppl walking in heels and adjusting tables for the breakfast in the same restaurant which went on until 11am. When I went to the reception and mentioned to them the problem from the night before they mentioned that they knew about the problem however didn't have any other rooms in the hotel that night. I told him that in my reservation I had particularly asked for a quiet room. Then they changed the room and we stayed in a much quieter room for the next two nights. The second problem was the hammam. The intention of staying in this hotel was to use the hammam which the last time around was well serviced however this time around they told us that the company servicing the Hammam had left and although we could use it none of the services were available which was disappointing.

Beautiful hotel, with nice architecture. Most of the staff were friendly, but probably due ot the Easter (?), the front desk receptionist almost ignored me several times. Also, thanks to the upgrade to the junior suite, but what I wanted was not junior suite, but a room with a view. It was in the basement, and my reason of choosing the hotel - a view toward the river, was not satisfied, even though I requested to change the room. I understand - however, the way the font desk treated was "noway, we are full and we gave you upgrade (to the junior suite), what can you ask for more." Is this appropriate way of responding to the request? I'd have accepted the same room, but if only you could have said it differently, I'd have different impression.

Every staff member we had contact with was very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel facility and rooms were beautiful and the breakfast buffet was spectacular. Honestly, one of the most pleasant hotel stays I’ve ever experienced.

Horrible smell in the bathroom- sewage smell. Reported to yhe front desk, nothing chsnged. Check in experience- unprofessional personnel.

We asked for a good view and were delighted with the room we were moved to. All the staff were going the extra mile to please guests. We hope to return soon. The Hamam was an unexpected delight. One tiny thing: a pot of coffee - not a cup - be appreciated at breakfast
