Our flight was cancelled and we booked last minute into the hotel. Feeling annoyed at the disruption, the hotel was a pleasant surprise and uplift. Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable, food selection was good and transfer to and from airport was good.

The check-in experience was so so. No special welcome for platinum members, and I had to ask for the (not so) welcome drink. During the stay, we had to experience difficult discussions with the front desk due since the safe of the room did not work. First they sent a technician who wasn't able to replace the battery (with a correct screwdriver, I would have done in 5 minutes). After a long discussion, we were told the engineer would come the next day. We pointed out that we would not be in the room, they informed us it was no problem. The next day, the safe was not fixed and the front desk explained us that it was our fault since we weren't there when the engineer came... After a long discussion, we changed of room. A couple of days later, we noticed that the battery of the safe was low. Since we didn't want to be stuck with a locked safe, we asked again the battery to be replaced. This was around 10:30 pm. The front desk sent another technician who wasn't able to change the battery either. Instead of telling us that he couldn't, he left without saying a word, leaving us to expect that he would come back with the appropriate screwdriver. Around 11:30 pm, we contacted the front desk, who informed us the technician had left for the night. We would have expected an apology but are still waiting... Finally, the safe was fixed the next day at 8 am, after another round of négociation with the front desk. Throughout our stay, we never felt welcome in this hotel; the front desk seemed to constantly assume bad faith from us, which as a client (platinum in our case), is very annoying. Another example: once the room wasn't done properly (bed not arranged), so we complained to the front desk, who told us we must have left the "do not disturb sign" (which we hadn't), and didn't apologize at all. This being said, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the shuttle service reliable and well organized. The breakfast not being complimentary anymore, we would have liked to have proper cups and not plastic/paper ones.

I needed a room close to La Guardia and close to the airport Marriott that was hosting a conference I was attending. Given the date (US Open time!), hotel prices were exorbitant everywhere. Everywhere except the Ibis! The room was spare but comfortable. Service was friendly and accommodating. I'd def stay here again.

After a long flt we arrived at the hotel around 1 am with my wife and two kids. We booked through accor app and all bookings correct. However checkin desk could not find our reservation. I called accor helpdesk and had someone confirm the booking however he asked me to wait for half hour as he doesnt have authorization to send an email to front desk to guarantee for me a room. He asked me to wait for half hour at 1 am so he can get back to the hotel and myself. I never heard back from him. Luckily lady at checkin had another noshow and had one last room available which she granted us for same price so we could take a room after 1 hour. You need to make sure reservations are confirmed and registered in the checkin system at front desk. Never had such experience when my booking could not be found. Especially after 11 hours flight with two young kids this was the most terrible experience.

comfortable beds, clean rooms and good service. The only drawback is the room doors are very loud when closing and since people are traveling and coming and going at all hours of the day and night it does wake you up. You should install some type of quiet closer to the doors

I really like this hotel. The cleanliness, most of the hotel staff was really nice. The hotel is modern, quiet and even has a pleasant scent. I do wish the parking was better and less deceiving. Sometimes the parking sign was out and sometimes it wasn’t. Many people got towed and booted. Aside from that, this is a really great hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived after a long journey around 3.30 am. The night receptionist was a lovely lady who could see we were about to drop from exhaustion. I asked if we could pay more and check out later but she extended our checkout to 1 pm for us. This didn' t stop someone knocking on the door in the morning, waking us by yelling "Checkout is 11 am". Not happy. You have no alterantive but to valet park for $22.95. No self parking available. The valet who was on when we arrived was also great. We had our dog on the booking and a $300 deposit was charged! That is totally excessive. The Ibis at Gatwick for example charges 10 English pounds. We had come from a 5 star hotel for the previous three nights that charged ZERO. The bed wasnt very comfortable and the pillows low and like boards. The mattress protector was obviously a thick plastic that crackled when you moved. Yuck! Apart from the lady who checked us in and the nice valet, there really wasnt much to like about this hotel. We wont be back. The Aloft which is on the same lot is a much better hotel.
