« Great stay except I couldn’t get a receipt because their computer was down. »

My room was comfortable with big windows. The shuttle took me to LaGuardia in the wee hours of the morning for my flight. The main problem was the computer was down so I couldn’t get a receipt.

« Lounge experience, though brief, was horrendous; aside from that the staff and hotel was comfortable, and in a convenient location. »

My only real gripe came right as I checked in; understand I had flown in over 20 hours prior and put in a very long day (the second long day in a row, without sleep) and was ready to relax before starting my next days work. I ordered a drink at the bar, which seemed inconvenient to the bartender. She was serving a couple , and yet very shortly pointed out she was closing....honestly I was too tired to even offer a rebuttal, I simply wanted a nightcap and to call it an evening. She then sighed and poured me a single knob creek , and charged me almost twenty dollars for it. Unbelievable—it was the last drink I bought at the hotel for the next two days, I can assure you that. There are plenty of nice establishments in the area that don’t gouge their customers for a drink, and actually seem genuinely pleased you stopped in to enjoy their customer service.

Honestly, It was horrible. The beds were hard as rock. I woke up everyday with aches and pains. There wasn't a microwave or a coffee maker in the room or a fridge! Really frustrating!

The Ibis at LaGuardia is incredibly convenient to the airport and one of the best bargains in New York. While the hotel and room is no frills it provides everything that you need. It's clean, convenient, and economical. The check-in process was quick and efficient and the shuttle service to the airport fantastic.

« Only 5 minutes to LGA and Great hotel »

When other hotels were above $200 per day, this hotel offered me a room for only $149 per night. I was skeptical about my first stay in this strange sounding name of the hotel but I was told it is an European style Economy hotel. Soap and Shampoo are available only thru dispenser. Also coffee machine and Ironing table and Iron are missing in the room. The breakfast was better than other expensive hotel chains I am a member of. In short my experience was not just good. It was GREAT. Go for it without hesitation. Did I forget to say the bus shuttle service is on time every thirty minutes and takes you to LGA airport in just 5 minutes.

The Good part was nice spacious rooms. Excellent front desk service. Good air conditioning and a great breakfast. The Bad part was, Shower too close to shampoo and body wash dispenser resulting in bumping into dispensers while showering. The shower head should be extended. Another Bad experience was the failure of front desk to advise there will be a hold of $50 over and above the room rate, for incidentals, resulting in disputing the chrge with my bank because I did not recognize the charge as shown inclusive of $50.

Five emails to hotel unanswered before stay was not a good start ! Bar/ restaurant staff to actually deal/ talk to customers rather than being more interested in topping up cell phone. Reception staff helpful with room request but need more training in regard to accors loyalty scheme

Bad shuttle experience, room didn’t get cleaned one of the days and breakfast ended 30 minutes before the marked time on the room keycard holder.

Overall the stay was good. Friendly staff and clean room. Except the room smelled so strongly of air freshener - it was actually hard to manage/breathe. And I was charged the wrong rate upon leaving but hopefully sorting that out soon.
