Nice hotel. good location but all of the staff on the front desk except the guy who checked me out were unfriendly. As part of the Accor loyalty scheme I was meant to have a welcome drink and a room upgrade if available neither were mentioned on checkin. The room had not been properly prepared as the safe was still locked from the previous guest.

Did not feel recognized as accor gold member. Felt like a regular guest pleading for a late check out. Room has a bad layout with AC blowing directly to your bed. this could have been avoided has the check in process was not rushed. There was a queue of 4 people behind me with only one front desk staff working so I can understand why it felt so rushed

The reception was absolutely incorrect and bad education by receptionist Avalon. This has been the worst experience with the reception of a hotel in my entire professional life.Without a doubt the worst welcome that anyone can expect.

It was my second stay in this hotel. Previously i stayed here as solo traveler but this time with family. I liked the location, Sochipol Airport and Amsterdam central in easy reach in minutes by train from Sloterdijk station. Also easy to visit Zaanse Schans. We stayed in family room with sofa bed. Beds were comfortable for good sleep.

Stayed for the second time at your hotel. Staff are nice and friendly. Was a little shocked about city tax. Announced as EUR 7.- for the stay I had to pay over EUR 12.-. I think this is a ripoff since nothing id included. The lame excuse of the checkin staff that it will be used for roads is unacceptable. Tourists need public transport. Look at the city of Basel in Switzerland, my hometown. Guest tax is CHF 4.- including free transportation on Trams, Buses and Trains. And guess what: Airport is included as well.

Good hotel with bad quality meeting room

The hotel and the rooms were ok and as expected. The meeting room's airco was 2 out of 3 days not functioning. The service level is very low and the staff's only interest seems to be the front desk. Service is certainly not in line with the price they charge for the meeting rooms etc.

Het spijt ons te horen dat uw verblijf niet volledig aan uw verwachtingen heeft voldaan; hiervoor willen wij u dan ook onze oprechte excuses aanbieden. Wij realiseren ons dat wij tijdens deze warme dagen niet het product hebben kunnen leveren dat u mag verwachten: een aangename temperatuur in de zaal en een goede service. Inmiddels zijn er stappen ondernomen om de luchtbehandeling aan te passen, waardoor het ook onder extreme omstandigheden voldoende koel kan worden. Bij Mercure, streven we naar een hoogwaardige dienstverlening voor elke gast; uw commentaar is daarom erg belangrijk voor ons. U kunt erop vertrouwen dat wij de juiste maatregelen hebben getroffen om het probleem te verhelpen en te voorkomen dat het zich nogmaals voor zal doen. Al eerder heb ik onze reserverings collega opdracht gegeven om een bedrag van € 500 van uw rekening te corrigeren als tegemoetkoming. Room service which is FAIRLY priced which is why I used it. Absolutely excellent getting a pizza delivered to my room and breakfast in bed. I highly recommend this hotel, it's brilliant, convenient location and provides all the services needed by guests.

Check in smooth, rooms great, facilities satisfied, restaurant staff outstanding service, one suggestion is that the restaurant coupons given for excusing daily room cleaning could also be loyalty points I couldn't use the coupons at all.

Hi team, I was going to report one big problem I have faced during my stay at your hotel. One day after I checked in, I found my arms have few bites and the skin was red. That time I was not realised what it was . And next day i have more bites on my neck and legs and I felt itchy. I only thought of mosquito since my journey was walking around canal sides of Amsterdam. When I came back to Korea and saw a doctor because it didn’t get better after mosquitos bite creams i have applied and doctor confirmed it was by bedbugs and my symptoms are not so easy to improve. Now I am on anti allergy and histamine medicine for 7days and need to see the progress. When I heard it I was very shocked and bought a spray for my luggage and the room in case any followed one from the hotel room. Pls clean the room 301 I stayed and hope no more guests who get the same unpleasant incident as me. One more thing I like to point out is cleaner. When I came back from outside this Monday I saw my facial cream from the shower booth was dropped on the floor and my shoes was felled down by the bed side. Before I went out, they were all on the shelf and floor nicely but somehow when the cleaning staff came in and cleaned, they didn’t care our stuff that well even we gave them a tip. One good thing I had during my stay was only the breakfast time. The staff served me was helpful and always put a smile on and gave me the pleasant feeling of the day.
