Just a station away from Amsterdam Cenmtraal, good location and convenient as the hotel is next to the transportation hub. Can be quiet at night, as there is nothing much near by except offices and other hotels. A convenient store near by, open until late, not bad. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice lobby. Comfortable room, good sleep quality. Stayed in a room with view of the train station, very nice. Don't miss the Skybar on 8th floor, the view (especially the night view) is amazing! Had the buffet breakfast, good spread, tasty food.

very nice hotel in Amsterdam, in good location close to city center and next to train station. Breakfast was excellent in quality and with big variety to choose. Food at the restaurant was also very good. The view from the room and the restaurant was very nice.

« An enjoyable experience at the Mecure Sloterdijk Station hotel. »

An enjoyable experience. A slight inconvenience due to elevator renovation work but this was acceptable and we understand this is part of improve the facilities for the future. The only suggestion we like to make is the following: In the hotel room there are no instruction available either by means of a small booklet or via the TV network in regards to operating the TV set and other general information normally provided to hotel guests. The TV channel list on the desk indicated that 'hotel information' could be viewed on channel 1 whereas, on the TV channel list this was indicated as being available on channel 39. However, neither channel provided any such information. We liked the room (702) and find all the staff very helpful when we needed any assistance. We particularly were impressed with the customer service approach of your staff member Hans from the service desk.

Hotel location great and we had an excellent welcome from the lovely reception staff. Breakfast was average. Unfortunately though, our main issue was with the housekeeping. We returned to our room after cleaning after the first night's stay to find all of the glasses, cups, plates unwashed an left lying around the room, the bins had not been emptied, carpets not hoovered and bathroom not cleaned thoroughly. For a 4 star hotel, this is not acceptable.

The Mecure was was amazing, not a single peep less than excellent. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful from the moment I checked in thru the time I checked out. The morning restaurant staff on the 8th floor mad me feel like i was a personal and i appreciated that being on a business trip and far from home!

There were a few bumps in the stay but everyone was more than eager to make it right. We really enjoyed our stay. We did find it a bit odd that there wasn’t a lock on the bathroom door.

I stayed at the Mecure hotel for my birthday and it was lovely. The staff made it so special, they surprised me with a birthday card and gift in our room and set up a beautiful table reservation for my birthday dinner. This made the trip very calm, relaxing, one of the best birthdays. It is also very close to the station.

« Very dissapointing service »

One on the worst service in the whole Accor chain in Europe. I stayed in this hotel three times, not a single time have I been upgraded or offered a welcome gift despiting being a platinum member where such a curtesy is a norm everywhere else. There was not even a bottle of water in my room to welcome me depsite quite a warm weather outside and when I asked for some I have been told they dont do it for free (neraly 200 euro a night doesn't cover, apparenly). Eventually, I got a bottle of water, 45 minutes later. They tend to print a welcome message for you, home ink print quality where they can't even get my sex right (I am actually a female, thank you). Why bother? I don't recommend this place.

Prons: Very cosy and well designed hotel Loved the interior design of the hotel Small but great room Cool bar Perfect location of the hotel Very helpful staff Great idea with vouchers for reusing towels and sheets Cons: Poor choice of vegan dishes on lunch and dinner menu (ok vegan options for breakfast i.e soya milk) Locked window in the room (No option to have the window open) Would definately stay again and would recommend to friends

One of the rooms was made available very late, and we had to wait in the bar, for it to be cleaned until 15:05. In addition, the other room had not been well cleaned, with debris on the carpet, and bottles left outside the door.

« room 104 is small and is bad located room »

We booked with 3 colleagues together, 1 colleague had an upgrade to big room with 3 beds on 8th floor, second colleague just got a 3-bed room like that and I got a small room 104 with 1 person bed (or mini 2 person bed), next to the corridor door that makes off-course big slamming noise every time somebody comes in, noise of running water of the shower and toilet from room above was extremely noisy as if it was dropping on a plastic roof above me. There where no plastic bags in the carton box next to toilet, no tissues in tissue box in bad room... why so much difference between 3 colleagues ??? Elevator system in general was difficult !! Staff where very friendly and restaurant had great food.

Nice four day stay. Staff were excellent, friendly and cheerful - keep up the good work. Because of ongoing maintenance and upgrading work there was only one else or available to use — but it was fun and an adventure with other guests.

It was fine,disappointed that we couldn't get in earlier, especially after requested it and nobody had the courtesy to let us know either way as we would have gone elsewhere as we had came from Australia not a country of a few hours travel and had to go over to desk and asked as others were getting rooms straightaway unbelievable
