Firstly, I didn’t have soap, shampoo etc in my room, nor did I have a toilet brush - which for me is significant. I don’t appreciate being signed up and receiving emails, I ticked the box to say I didn’t want emails but I still got them. I’ll be unsubscribing. I put my “do not disturb” sign on the door so that I could keep my towels etc and not have my pitiful rubbish shoved in a bin with one single use plastic bag. Your towel policy states “we care for the environment” however, I received a fresh set of towels on a tray outside my room - ‘care for the environment’ doesn’t look like it. I was in room 416 - and had to turn off the air conditioning by taking the card out of the power near the front door. I think you should check that as it’s rather noisy. The toilet brush thing my my biggest concern.

I did not like my stay at this motel, it was not worth the money. The room was messy and the bed had blood stains on it and it was just horrible and the food was overpriced

The Hotel was under renovation which were not aware of prior to trip. They had a notice up to say there maybe some noise between 8am-5pm which we accepted, however the hammering started around 7am disappointing that the guidelines outlined were not taken seriously.

The staff were lovely but we expected more for the price we payed. We normally stay at the vue for $215 a night. A very updated modern extremely comfortable room.

The TV was stuck on one (1) channel. We could not alter the volume, order a movie or change channels ( From the remote or TV directly) I requested 2 beds ( my son & I) - was given a king bed to share.

« A Real Gem in Geelong »

This was a pit stop stay on the way to Melbourne. The hotel is in the midst of a much needed refurbishment but is in a great location with great views. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast awesome. Great choices and very quiet even though the restaurant was busy. Next time I would stay longer and explore a bit more. Room service is also excellent - generous servings for reasonable prices and very healthy with vegetables and salad.
