We have stayed at your hotel in a number of occasions and have always had good service. The only thing that I would question is the staffs interpretation of the discount for meals for Accor members The previous week when we stayed with you we had dinner which we received our discount but when we had lunch the following day and asked about the discount we were told the food at lunch time was cheap enough and there was no discount. Maybe the staff need to be briefed properly. No seafood on the menu is a disappointment

a lot of money was already paid for the hotel stay. On top of that, $25 was requested for Valet parking. No other option for parking was given.

The parking fee of $25 per night was exorbitant To pay an extra $5.00 to have a barista coffee delivered to my room left me gobsmacked The room was clean and pleasant The pool was a good way to start the day

« excellent venue, polite and helpfull staff and comfy room »

Booked in for Just a short stay with a little shopping in the afternoon ,walked the waterfront down to the yacht club , back to the room for a wine on the Balcony looking over the yacht club and the down bar for a couple of drinks , out for tea and back at the hotel by 9.30 pm. very pleasant and welcoming staff.

« Tired hotel, irritable staff »

The stay was nice enough however staff we encountered were not helpful and rude at times and the rooms/decor was all very tired looking. Also, charging a pregnant woman $4.50 for a soda water in the bar when we were supposed to get 2 drinks free was incredibly rude and the bartender was very unhelpful and disgruntled. The hotel was told we were celebrating our anniversary and although we got a chocolate and one bottle of water in the room, the team could have been a lot nicer and actually made an effort with their guests. Even as our Accor member free night we would not stay here again.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Jessica, please know in regards to your interactions with my staff including my barman, I have personally met with my team and shared your feedback and without going into too much detail, have had an honest conversation with them about the expected level of warmth, care and respect for all guests moving forward. I agree with your disappointment about having to pay $4.50 for the soda water and have immediately clarified to my staff that no matter what the drink is, Accor members are entitled to receive a free drink for every person staying in the room. I can also see by your review, that you would like to see our accommodation improved upon, which of course we agree. I am therefore excited to advise you that we will be commencing a hotel refurbishment in March, which will include new bedding, bathroom, furnishings, carpet and a full painting schedule in rooms and hallways and be completed in November 2018. « Started roughly but got better »

The check in was a little abrupt but everything else after was really good. It was done as a group booking and quite a few of us arrived at once. I offered my Gold Accor Advantage Plus card and felt I was fobbed off as it was like it didnt count due to the type of booking. After that initial glitch everything wlse was good.

All lovely except the swipe card not working just before we were leaving. This happens in hotels everywhere. Bit of confusion on parking, where and room to park whilst waiting for velet.

« Another pleasant stay »

Only a one night stay as we had visited the area to attend the Vic. Golf Open at Barwon Heads. Probably unplanned but was given the same room as our previous stay at this hotel. Great view over the bay and room was comfortable. Breakfast as an Accor member was great value.

« Fun and relaxing »

The hotel was cosy, clean and close to foreshore, cafes, bars and short drive to some great wineries. We had a lot of fun exploring what Geelong and surrounds had to offer. It was also relaxing to be close to the water and out of the city. The restaurant served great food.

Was Ford Corporate Meeting with 2 nights accommodation. Everything was ok, but nothing was “WOW!”. Was in room 419 & is not set up to maximise the view which is strange.
