I stayed this hotel by chance, but it had served us cozy and comfortable places for three days. I also appreciate to crews, they are well trained, and they always showed us the kindness support. I would like to stay again when I have chance to visit Tailand.

« A very good Ibis Styles hotel! »

My wife and myself did a very short stay at this hotel as Le Club platinum members during a stopover in Bangkok inbetween flights. The hotel is almost brand new and appears sharp and fresh as you would expect from a new hotel. The hardware itself is great for an Ibis Styles hotel, actually the nicest Ibis Styles hotel I ever stayed in so far, even if we normally would stay in a Sofitel or a Pullman hotel for longer stays while in Bangkok. The room was clean and very comfortable, the lobby area was very nice and welcoming as was the pool-, bar-and restaurant area on level 7 (but please clean the chairs in the outside bar, I cleaned my chair myself before ordering a drink, and the napkin was black from dirt/dust from the traffic from Sukhumvit road). Excellent bed quality. Housekeeping personnel on our floor, 24, was very friendly. Nice city views from the higher floors. The restaurant on the 7. th. floor offers a great lunch menu. Location is not super central, but still very much acceptable as the hotel offers a complimentary tuk-tuk service to the nearby skyttain station. All in all this hotel exceeded our expectations by far and also offers excellent value for money. A highly recommended budget, quality hotel in Bangkok. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is the complete lack of loyalty recognition, which has also been mentioned by other Accor elite member guests on this board in the past. During check-in, no one says welcome, no one thanks you for your loyalty to the chain, welcome drink vouchers were not filled out and ready at arrival (had to be collected later), at check out no one asked me how the stay was, nor did they say welcome back in the future, no welcome letter from the management and no welcome amenity in the room - all which are standard at all other Ibis Styles hoteld and even at Ibis properties in Bangkok. Sadly it seems like this hotel could not care less about Le Club elite members. Very unfortunate when the hardware product is so great.

Very nice new hotel near BTS station. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast isn't great but you can't. get better for that money. Overall pleasant stay, would definitely recommend IBIS Styles Prakhanong to my friends.

« When is a deposit not a deposit ? »

Hotel is new and well appointed. Its all in modern style. Check in staff don't really know what they are doing and we had a lot of confusion over leaving a deposit which was for the full amount of the bill .... hardly a deposit. We were told that the deposit would not be charged to our card ... but it was. On check out they then wanted to cancel the deposit and recharge the same amount again .... confusing or not ? I'm still waiting to see if the deposit is refunded ...

Returned to stay at Ibis Styles Phra Khanong for work. Great location but can improve on the room allocation. Due to the increasing number of tourist from group travels, the noise level has increase. I think the hotel should allocate a floor for single travelers and put all the group travelers in other floors.
