Cozy and large bed; room generally reasonable Pretty reach breakfast but missing any vegetables; Staff using their bear hands to fill the trays with "les croissantes" … Far too expensive for what it actually offers

Overall cleanliness of the room wasn't great. Toilet was bleached but hadn't been rinsed away/cleaned. Shower taps were hanging off the wall - it was very difficult to pull the plunger to switch the shower on. Had to use a towel to lever it on. There was no iron facilities in the room - had to ask to borrow one from reception. In a business hotel I'd expect an iron in every room. Finally the AC was set to 15degC in the room on arrival. Probably not necessary at any time of year let alone October! Food in the restaurant was average. Service was good however.

The hotel staff are very friendly and very helpful. I have stayed in the hotel several times over the last 6 months and been happy with my stay, unfortunately during my last stay, the room was in need of improvement. The shower was broken and the general condition of the room was below the previous standards witnessed.

Selected this hotel due to closeness of client I was visiting. Good stay nice rooms. Above all the dining experience was excellent, I’m not usually one for eating in the hotel where I’m saying but glad I didn’t miss this one, well prepared. Would use again when in area. Only mishap was the fire alarm going off at 6am, I do need may beauty sleep and every minute counts.

comfy beds great breakfast handy for train in to Paris which was one of the main reasons for staying here, end of holiday treat. rooms a bit tired not much around location of hotel. disappointed that restaurant was closed when not advised !! food looked really nice on photos so had to find somewhere to eat after long drive !!!!

« generally satisfactory in terms of amenities but restaurant closure on Friday was not good. »

My TV had non-working channels for 5 of the 6 nights stay. I did notify reception, but still not working. Block drain in the bathroom sink could not be repaired in the evening due to no maintenance staff available. No restaurant service on Friday evening. (That said, I did finally get a burger from Mr Larent of the restaurant - I am grateful to him).

« Does what a hotel needs to do »

The room was quite small but okay for a single person. The bathroom and the living room / bedroom were adequately and tastefully furnished, even a small refrigerator was included. There were some minor problems though, as the safe was installed in the wardrobe in a way that opening the wardrobe door let the safe door swing open without any action on my part, this has made using the wardrobe a lot more difficult. The refrigerator was installed in a completely enclosed cabinet which clearly was not ventilated well enough, as I felt a burst of hot air whenever I opened the fridge door. My last minor quibble was that I got the room next to the elevator shaft so I could clearly hear any elevator cars arriving, leaving or passing by. The room service was fine, the bed was made and the towels replaced as they should have been, the breakfast was tasty and a great variety was offered. The receptionist was friendly and ready to help. The hotel building itself is near to the train station, which made the journey there and back relatively easy.

« could be better with the bathroom standard »

Hi , I am in overall satisfied with the stay at Mercure Maurepas, but taking into consideration the price, it would be great to have a better standard of the bathroom (bathtub instead of the shower). Usually when stayed at your hotel previously I have had for Standard Twin Room comfortable double bed, this time unfortunately it was two separate beds joined together (the name of the room was the same). If I could recommend something, it would be also great (from the ecologic point of view) to provide reusable glass cups for tea/coffee (not the one-use carton ones) & to introduce the rule that if the towels are not laying on the floor, it means I want to reuse them (I believe this rule is generally used in other hotels)
