« could be better with the bathroom standard »

Hi , I am in overall satisfied with the stay at Mercure Maurepas, but taking into consideration the price, it would be great to have a better standard of the bathroom (bathtub instead of the shower). Usually when stayed at your hotel previously I have had for Standard Twin Room comfortable double bed, this time unfortunately it was two separate beds joined together (the name of the room was the same). If I could recommend something, it would be also great (from the ecologic point of view) to provide reusable glass cups for tea/coffee (not the one-use carton ones) & to introduce the rule that if the towels are not laying on the floor, it means I want to reuse them (I believe this rule is generally used in other hotels)

Rooms are fine. For prestige rooms they were a bit small, but all was very clean. The restaurant menu is very limited with no vegetarian dish on it.

We were quite disappointed during our visit in Hotel Mercure in Maurepas in December 2017. The carpet is quite outdated and full of pets hair... not great with a crawling toddler! On top of that the 'baby cot' had not base and no mattress... The 'mattress' was actually a badly folded blanket, not up to safety standard for young babies. Finally the towels were all stained/dirty and we had to ask the reception for fresh ones. We stop here every year but I am really considering finding a new hotel for next year!

quite disappointed as restaurant and bar closed and would not have booked if I had known. Hotel was full of noisy students, mostly in fancy dress, for an event which again was not advised and if known would not have booked. Only positive was that room was ok although it was not the one we had requested

I have stayed at this Mercure a few times, only because my preferred hotels are sold out and its is fairly close to my company's location in the area. Restaurant: I arrived after a long flight to find that your restaurant was closed on the weekends. Since the choices were to eat at McDonalds (as it was Sunday and most restaurants were closed) or eat some over-priced canned foods provided by the hotel. To be honest, this is the first time I have ever seen this offered by a hotel. However, when the restaurant is open, it is quite good. Room: I found the room to be overly warm. Most Americans are accustomed to an room temperature a few degrees cooler than what the French normally find comfortable. The air conditioning (AC) in the room did not work. It was October which could explain why the hotel turned off the AC for the hotel however it was unseasonably warm. Normally, I would just open the window but I was on the ground floor. I do not care at all for the shower in the room. There is a small glass divider about 2 feet wide, and consequently the floor of the bathroom gets covered in water. The in-room hotel toiletries consists of a small bar of soap and a generic shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower. The age of the building and rooms are evident when you arrive. The paint is not kept up, I noticed paint blistering on the wall by the bed. Overall, I like the restaurant (when its open), but I would only stay here if my other choices are sold out.

Hello sir Thank you for choosing to stay at the Mercure Maurepas Saint Quentin Hotel last October. Your comments have enlightened us on the improvements we can make in particular on the restoration. We are thinking about an alternative offer for the weekend to replace the dishes we serve during the closing of the restaurant. air With regard to air conditioning, it is true that we produce warm air in the winter and cool in the summer. It also happens, in mid-season that the temperature reached is too hot or too cool depending on the sensitivities. « Practical but not so effective »

Due to a new job i become an extensive traveler this past year. This hotel is convenient for me but simple thing will definitely improve my stay. Such as a back head pillow in memory foam and an express service of an healthy breakfast. When I request bread butter and tea I got pushed back and proposed croissant and coffee? Really not my preference.

« Not bad...not great... »

Overall it was a decent experience. A few points of dissatisfaction 1. Lack of eating options on the weekends 2. When I asked for 1 extra bottle of water I was told it's only 1 per day !!! 3. My office who was coordinating the booking and there was a bit of confusion over my check-out date. Your hotel told my office daily rates over phone and did not send it on email and I realised later when payment that the rates told by you hotel was not heard correctly by my office because it was over a phone line and I had to pay more.

« Best of a bad bunch. Not many hotels in area to choice from. »

Found hotel clean and staff helpful and friendly. For the price I paid for 6 days (£1000) I feel that should have included breakfast. I took breakfast one ( 16 euro ) was very over priced. Very poor selection and probably the worse scrambled eggs I have ever had. So runny.

« Nice trip with access issues. »

The only thing I disliked was, that my keycard was out of function two times (Arrival and the day after). Staff was very active and dissolved the issue twice - but the root cause couldnt be found.

« I had a bad experience »

Last time I've got a food infection due to the hotel's food. This time I made the reservation with no option of cancelation. I had to cancel the trip. No problem with that, but what I found to be outrageous is that i PAYED full tariff and NOT EVEN my Leclub points were credited. Good dammit, I payed for the hotel without using the service and not even the fidelity points were credited??? This is RIDICULOUS! Not to mention the phone attendent from the hotel who is extremily rude. I will certainly think twice next time.

Reception staff very unpleasant and not willing to help !!! Quality of the hotel in relation to the price very poor. I couldn't sleep becouse of the continuous noise from the stairs... No space in the room, the bathroom need a renovation!!!

The hotel rooms are OK (in context of the price, e.g. the breakfast was for an extra fee), but what I consider an extraordinary is the restaurant. Not just because of the atmosphere, but mostly because of the quality of the meals.
