« Not up to usual standards »

I am a frequent guest at this hotel and was always very satisfied whenever I stayed in this property. I have noticed though a decline in the upkeep of the hotel over the past year or so, and on this last visit I feel like I have to say something about it. I was upgraded to the one bedroom suite in lieu of my usual superior studio because they were fully booked in that category, I do appreciate the upgrade but the one bedroom suite was really not up to standard. The main sitting area had only ONE table side lamp, the floor in the hallway was uneven, the entry door was scratched and badly dented...that’s for the room. I have noticed over the past visits how dirty the carpet is in the hotel hallways, the bathroom on the third floor near the fitness area was dirty and lacking soap and toilet paper...I walked in, and walked out! I am an Accor Hotel member and over the past couple of times it was never mentioned by the front desk nor did I ever receive a voucher for a welcome drink (maybe the policy changed regarding that)...honestly, it’s not about the “bottle of water” I would get, it’s about consistency. On the second day of this particular stay, I noticed people with very large dogs inside the hotel (St Bernard size dogs), although I am a dog lover, being in a hotel that was sounding, smelling and looking like a kennel is not a choice I would make for hotel accommodation. When I asked the night shift front desk gentleman, he told me there was some kind of a dog event in Geneva and that “yes, I have allowed these dogs, it’s just a matter of accepting cohabiting with these dogs for a short period”...I was just glad I was leaving early the next morning. I am going to finish my review in French just to make sure nothing gets lost in translation. Je passe au français pour exprimer mes commentaires avec un peu plus de précision. Je suis client à votre hôtel depuis qu’il a ouvert voilà quelques années, j’ai toujours été satisfait de cet établissement et je veux également reconnaître particulièrement la gouvernante de chambre qui a toujours été d’une efficacité et d’une attention exemplaire au fil des années concernant mes moindres besoins. Je ne voudrais pas que cette revue soit interprétée comme une plainte d’un client insatisfait (même si je le suit), mais plutôt comme une sirène d’alarme pour rectifier tout les manquements de cet hôtel que j’ai trouvé être une référence dans la catégorie. Il y’a vraiment une dégradation inquiétante. Après ce dernier séjour, j’hésite vraiment à revenir, je demeure néanmoins optimiste quand à la remise sur rails de cet hôtel et j’y reviendrai, j’espère seulement que ce ne sera pas la dernière fois...

« Important minor details often make all of the difference »

I personally was pleased with my time at the hotel. but there are a number of small but important matters which can determine the future rating of the hotel. A) Bathroom wash basin plug operating rod was minus its top, which meant that it was very difficult to operate for a guest with physical difficulties B) The tissue box in the bathroom only had three tissues in it C) The plastic cups were not in sealed packaging,are they new or old? D) On the stairs leading up to each floor, I was very concerned about the decision to leave all of the removed hand rail screws in the walls. This is can be very dangerous for children or other persons who may fall and suffer impact injury. They should be screwed in to be flush with the walls or removed and stored for later use. E) The odour of cooked fish from the restaurant is present on the 1st and 2nd floor corridors. Does the kitchen have an extract fan? F) The door lock into room 121 cannot be locked from the inside. G) Curtain in room 121 in need of repair Dear Sir/Madame, All of the above is meant to support your management of the hotel and the "continuation/and or restoration" of high ratings, which is possible.

Perfect service at the reception late around 18:30 and after 23:00. Disappointment for the breakfast. No bread. Except toast bread. 3 orange juice machines super bright in that dark corner but no orange juice. Only small plates. Breakfast is not not recommend! The breakfast area is not very clean and cosy as the reception is just next to it and that person in the morning was to loud while speaking. The walls and decorstion was dirty. Could need a clean up.

there was no room maintenance or daily cleaning, was that not part of the service? The front office staff were helpful. I think the price for the hotel was expensive for Bed only. I will visit again.

« Spacious, clean and everything I needed for a comfortable stay! »

The rooms were big and spacious, and is very well equipped with a small adequate kitchen. It's almost everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, it does not provide cleaning services like a hotel, there is a fee to it. That will be the only downside.

Everything was good except that the Air conditioning did not work. I notified that it did not work, but it was never repaired. the personal was nice and kind, but the breakfast tables were not cleaned after each person left. as a consequence, there were not many available tables and it was not nice to see the leftovers of other people.

The room was surprisingly nice. The lobby and hallways had me thinking my stay might not be so nice, but the room was quite nice. Receptionist was very nice. Bed was not very comfortable. It felt like a futon mattress. The door did not close securely without really forcing it closed.

Your place was perfect for my business needs. Only two issues. My internet was terrible (Room 216) and I felt too lazy to pack up and move my stuff as requested. Secondly, one night, two strange people walked into my room as I was fast asleep (around midnight). Very disturbing.

We were 4 colleagues, and we experienced a very friendly and helpful staff - when making the reservation, when making changes and during our stay. The rooms are spaceous and nice with the small kitchen. The restaurant is not bad, but if you do not like "moules", you have to go somewhere else. And you should in the rooms check the cleanliness of cups, plates, forks and knives from time to time. We were here for an exhibition, and we have already asked for rates in order to come back in one year.
