Wonderful hotel across the road from busy Myeongdong, without the noise. Staff in the hotel all speak English and very professional. Convenience store directly located underneath the hotel. Bus stop and train station only 200m away. Will definitely come back.

The staffs at the hotel especially the reception are extra ordinary and excellent in their customer service. They follow up with issues that we raised. One thing though is that the cleaning staffs need to pay a bit more attention to the underneath of the bed because when I did the final check before checked out, I saw lots of dirts, empty cans underneath the bed. From a health professional perspective as myself, this can pose a health hazard especially to people who have asthma, eczema or allergy as these can increase their symptomps which can range from not experience a pleasant trip to a lethal risk. So please pay more attention to that. otherwise everything else is great. the staffs are very friendly.

Jean at the front desk was very helpful in offering us options to schedule a day tour of Seoul when our planned one was cancelled at the last minute. He also helped recommend restaurants in the area that were still open (we arrived late night).

It was a pleasant stay as it near to the subway and shopping area. Room is nice and odorless which is what I like as some hotels I stayed before has a bad smell from their carpet. Just one thing you might want to check is the main door, the door lock may not be align so whenever I tried to enter, I have to give it a few hard push to get the door open.

Great location, and great staffs! Only thing to improve on is the breakfast selection. Will be nice to have a little more variety on standard western breakfast choices, such as ham, sausages, etc.

room size was average. food served was above average. location of hotel was very good. others i was unhappy with how toothbrush, shampoo, bottled water as they were not replenished daily unlike in other stays. i was also unhappy with how staff dealt with problems. i guess its the language barrier. would like to ask if you could reconsider renaming 2 hotels as they are confusing ibis styles ambassador myeungdong vs ibis ambassador myeungdong. our group was booked in the former and another group booked in the latter. so confusing with the names.

Checking-in and out was a breeze. Staffs are all nice, courteous, and helpful. Hotel room was worth it for its price, although a little bit cramped. Nicely tidied rooms everyday. Except for the mugs we used were not replaced or cleaned up. During our last night, room keys failed to work on the lift, tried using the other card keys of our 3 rooms, still didn’t work, so we decided to get off the lift, to have the card keys fixed by your front desk staffs, there were 2 ladies outside the lift. But only one was irritated and rude towards us. I wanted to ignore her rudeness, but her unacceptable attitude didn’t sit well with me. There were 2 lifts available, she is a grown adult, whereas I was with my sons and were carrying 1 young sleeping daughter. Would have it been better if she were HELPFUL & patient, instead of being angry and saying things towards us. I guess my children still have to get used to such behavior, we cannot really control when people choose to behave poorly. Note: we weren’t inside the lift too long. Just tapping the card keys. So sad... because the rude behavior came from a WOMAN. I just thought... women should be helping women.

Love the ambience at the lobby. However, we weren’t sure if there were bed bugs as we stayed for five nights and we got some bites along the way in the room. Nonetheless I enjoyed our stay there in ibis and thankful for it’s convenient location.

The hotel receptionist staff is friendly and they can speak fluent English. Once enter to the hotel lobby, i feel warm, this is exactly what you need when you are travel in winter season. The room is clean, mattress is comfy and breakfast is yummy. Overall my stay is satisfied, maybe hotel can be improve in early check in for midnight flight guest.
