We arrived on late flight, but the staff were excellent and very welcoming. We received an up grade to an absolutely amazing room. The view from our room (and most would be very similar) was beautiful at night with the boats out in the bay and equally as lovely in the day time The resort itself is very good, the pools are large and refreshingly cool. There is a free shuttle into town which is handy Only small complaint is that the resort is a long way out of town if you want to eat outside the resort otherwise it is very good

« Where is the attention of the management? »

I am very disappointed with the level of (customer) service in this property. We experienced this throughout our stay and with many staff member in different positions. We stayed in one of the beachfront villas with a pool - what a nice place and the beach is really beautiful. But the room had too many broken things - we complained about a couple and some got even fixed but there were simply too many. As this new property does not care about making sure everything is taken care of and especially just too many issues with the level of service, I would never return nor recommend this place. Luckily we just refused to let this ruin our holiday.

« Perfect beach resort for both young and old. »

The beach was clean and has inflatables for the kids as well as free stand up paddle boards and kayaks equipment. The down side of this resort is that there is not many options for food around hotel. Had to order in room and eat from hotel restaurants. If there is a shopping complex near by it will be perfect. Took us an hour to get to Vinpearl parks on the free shuttle bus. Had to catch it across the street. It was very hot and no cover what so ever. Need an upgrade of some sort. Others were not very happy as they had young children with them. We were please to be on level 5 with great views of the beach front. The shower water pressure was very weak. Wasted time, just to have a decent shower. It was a very well kept resort. Staffs were very friendly and helpful at all time. Breakfast is well managed and all food are constantly refilled. There were plenty of seats available both in/outdoor. Two pools to choose from and it is never over crowded.

not many varieties of foods for each day. It seems to be repeated every breakfast. Service is slow. A lot of mosquitos. Not many Vietnamese food for breakfast. Many of US - Vietnam citizen would like to stay. We'd appreciate to show some appreciate for US Citizen.

Facilities and appointment good. Service well below expectations for 5 star accommodation and typical of a Novotel branded hotel/resort. In my opinion this is not because of the staff rather the lack of training provided to them. Staff ere very friendly and accommodating however very inexperienced in providing required levels of service.

We had very good four nights in the Novotel villa. The rooms fits very well with family with kids like ours. The swimming pools are great, even my one year old enjoys them to her maximum. The dinner buffet needs improvement though. The location is a bit far from the center so if you want to try local food, you need to pay twenty dollars each round trip to downtown. But it’s recommended to stay at this villa if you travel with big family.

« Perfect customer service but the accommodation quality needs to be considered »

We were stay in Villa 1079 for 3 days 2 nights from Jan 12~14. Personally I love the services that we experienced during our stay. However, our room quality didn't satisfy us. The maintenance team was very enthusiasm but I couldn't find out all the broken things or issues at once until I used/tried. Like there was no battery in the TV remote, the cap of kettle couldn't be opened, the scale didn't work, the area in front of the entrance door was always wet that make it floor dirty whenever we got inside, the water in the sink drain went down super slow and the water was even stuck in it, one bathroom had 2 bottles of shower gel sticker even though it went with different colors (Yellow and Red) so I know it's just a mistake but I was very confused to distinguish. Thank you for your consideration on our satisfaction, I'll obviously come back because I really enjoy my stay in Novotel but I hope to see your improvement in what I mentioned above.

« Awesome resort with a fantastic staff! »

The room was great with a huge balcony and the Kingsize bed was probably the best bed I’ve ever slept in + the pillows!!! WI-FI was complementary and worked surprisingly well! The pool area + the beach were great and the Ocean bar had both drinks & a meny for All Inclusive guests! The staff worked hard & long days but smiled througout the days, and even though some of them couldn’t speak a word English they will probably improve with some logistics from the management! The resort surroundings are tidy and really nice with pools filled with Koi fishes! The buffet had something for everyone, so all in all, a really nice week - Thank you for a great vacation!!!

First I dont thing 5 star staff can wear a polo!!! Second thing, they don’t have a place for change the diaper for baby. Shower room for swimming pool don’t have any shampoo and shower gel. We ask for changing a chair broken, nobody bring an order chair! And many more inconvenients! We don’t like your manager and yours management. It wasn’t 5 start standard!

We stayed 7nights, as a Gold Member, our room had been upgraded to the deluxe bungalow, which was such a nice surprise, we liked our room location, was in the middle of the resort, easy to reach to the beach and restaurant, we enjoyed all the facilities, the swimming pool, the beach, the pond surrounded by lots of beautiful fish, the gardens and the cocktails.The guava juice and bacon in breakfast tasted very good. Everything looked so nice. However, I had to say, I felt very disappointed the service of the staffs. The guy who helped us check in seemed professional, but he gave us a wrong information, we asked how could we rent a scooter, he said 20 minutes before, in the concierge, so one day we went to the concierge after breakfast to rent and be told there was no more, we had to go to the town, so we took a shuttle bus to town at 10 am, after mentioned room number, I asked what did we need to rent the scooter, did we need to pay the deposit or just passport hold, but the concierge staff lead me to a taxi, I said I dont need a taxi, he insisited we must take, and I asked to go where, he answesd it was free, I was like completely did not understand, then we figured it out the shuttle bus was replaced by a taxi, paid by the hotel, then in the taxi we asked the staff where we could rent a scooter, he asked the diver to stop and pointed to some stores on the street, so we get out of the taxi and go to store he showed us, the taxi continued, the store also did not have any scooter, so we were stopped in the middle of nowhere, we had to wait a long time and take another taxi to go to the town, we walked many stores, but there was also no scooter avialble, then we had to take a taxi again from downtown to bai sao. I would say that the concierge was very not professional, he could just tell us it was very difficult to rent a scooter, then we could just take a taxi from hotel to bai sao. Another thing was I forgot my nail clippers at home, and I really need to cut, so I went to the concierge to see if they got one or not, the answer was "no, we dont have'", then I went to the reception, thought maybe some girl got, I went to a counter, the lady was busy with the other guests, and there was a trainee stayed behind seemed free, so I ask if she got one could borrow, she seemed did not understand then she asked the staff for help, so I asked again for the nail clippers, then this staff told me I had to wait,she needs to check the room, I was like check what, then she said "you want a nail spa, I need to check room later. now I am busy". They totally misunderstand, I had to google the picture, then she just said "no". I felt pissed off, really, the altitude was so bad, I mean I came for help, at most you could help find a solution, or at least said sorry we don't have it, not just a cold "no". The lady named Thinh. The day we checked out, I went to concierge to borrow tape, after I asked one guy, did not say anything, just left, another guy came I asked again, same guy who dropped us in the middle of nowhere for rent scooter, he pointed to a third guy without saying anything, did I had to say the same question again and again to every staff? So the third guy did not understand what was a tape, I showed him the picture, finally, I got my tape.I assumed the two guy also did not know what I asked, but they could just say ” I am sorry I don't understand my other colleague will help you". The last night we stayed, I would like to have some pasta, we would like to order in the pool bar, I asked a girl if I could order some pasta here, she said I had to call room service, and I asked twice can they bring it here, she said yes, then my husband said we can eat here, she said no, only room service. I was like what?? I just asked you twice, what a joke! It always took them forever to come to give me the menu, also took forever to make them came to order, but very quick to bring the bill even we had not ask yet. staffs at pool bar looked busy, but we did not be served, unlike the ocean bar, they were really busy, I always came to them to order. Once again, I would say service here did not feel like a five star.The girls in reception never smile. The housekeepers and gardeners always say hello with a smile.For the new year, the only wish we got was after breakfast on the way to the room, we run into a hotel management in white shirt foreigner, say the happy new year to us.One staff worked in ocean bar worn dark blue shirt and glasses was always smile to us and say enjoy. Still, we enjoyed our stay here in phu quoc novotel, we like the free watersports by the beach, all the trees and flowers around the hotel, except the service of staffs.Thank you to upgrade our room, we also took the welcome letter from the GM as a souvenir. .It was the best hotel we ever stayed and the most beautiful, highly recommended to our friends.

We chose to spend Christmas at Novotel Phu Quoc resort. The hotel and villa (which we stayed) were lovely. The villa was spacious and equipped and furnished to a high standard. My only complaint was the Christmas Day meal at the hotel. It was advertised as a special but was in fact very little different to their standard buffet dinner but was twice he cost. We expected a bit more for a Christmas Day meal. Overall though a good stay. Should be noted that the overall area is in the process of being developed and will have a much nicer feel once surrounding area and properties are complete.

I got the very best impression stayed in Novotel Phu Quoc. When I arrived the hotel. Two managers are welcome me and introduced the hotel facilities . The room is very cozy and comfortable. The resort facilities is prefect for my kid and myself. The hotel staffs are really friendly. I feel that this is the best Novotel resort in Asia . I will definitely back to Phu Quoc and stay in this Novotel in the near future.

I did enjoy my time there, but there was a small problem that annoyed me so much is the bathroom. Everytime we useed the shower water will be leaking to whole bathroom floor. And i found out the reason of that is because the drainage in shower somehow at a higher point of the floor. And when i check in to villa, There was a dead dragonfly at window stairs????????

« Highly recommended place for family visit in Phu Quoc with reasonable price »

* Good Points - good location with newly built resort (near airport) - enjoyable environment inside the resort, fully ready for all needs inside the resort - kind staffs, nice room condition - Food quality is acceptable, inside meal is generally ok * Bad Points - rooms with construction side is not good (noisy, ugly view), need to notify customers in advance about it - a bit far from Sao Beach and Vin Pearl (its not actual bad points of the resort) - this resort will be better after finishing developing circumstances - basic room is a bit small, lower level has not much beautiful view (I dont know about higher level) - Understandable as it was Christmas, but staffs were extremely busy forgetting about bringing room service menu for more than 3 times.
