Stayed two nights between 30 Oct. - 1 Nov. It was actually more than enough for a business trip. Probably I'll prefer the same hotel for my further trips to Wiesbaden.

I was in Wiesbaden on business. I found the Mercure to be conveniently located. The room was comfortable and functional. I especially liked having good WiFi. The breakfast was great, both in quality of food and its variety. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. I'd stay at this property again.

You are a “hotel”! People fly in at all hours - you have rooms ready but do not allow anyone prior to 10:00 AM. A great reception after flying 12 hours. Please note my company book hundreds of rooms per year. I am at the point of changing hotels. On another note, there is collusion with the front desk and the taxi drivers. You may want to investigate. An absolute scam! They always call Sams taxi whom is a thief in my mind. Take my advise and ask for a taxi for a long run, you will get him. I am happy to speak to you about this directly! +1… Richard

« Good stay for 1 day business meeting at the Mercure »

Arrived early from overnight flight from Boston, was given opportunity to join hotel membership to receive early room placement, and took that opportunity. Room was clean and comfortable with two bottled waters waiting for me. TV channel guide helpful and fitness area also welcome. Breakfast buffet offered good variety. Front desk staff helpful with check-in options and taxi requests. Business meeting room very functional, with built in fridges for cool drinks, and plenty of power outlets.

Staff was very nice and helpful, especially with my language fluency not as good as I'd like it to be. Room was comfortable as was the bed. Only down side is I wish there were more English-speaking channels available on the cable.

No consideration on frequent customer issues. I used the booking website and made a mistake on my booking that I found out on check in. No reasonnable solution was proposed than book again and be charged twice. Bit disapointed on how I was consider as frequent traveler on this hotel. Will not come back.

the front desk folks are the not friendliest (when it comes to a person who lives outside of Germany). i had questions and it seemed like I was bothering them with my questions. But overall, the hotel is very nice, and the restaurant staff was very nice. i would recommend the hotel to others. Just get past the front desk and it will be fine. i did have a "hole" in the mattress on the right side, so i slept on the left half and it was fine. But a new mattress is in order for the room i had.

The hotel was extremely nice, but the iron in the room is probably the cheapest and worst iron I've ever had in a hotel. It simply doesn't get hot enough and does not produce steam.
