good: bed made to perfection, very comfortable. Just spacious enough. bad: stayed there for 2 days and free bottle water and tea bags not replaced on the second day.

On this trip of six Accor hotels it showed that having a gold card profile meant nothing. At all six when asked for an early check in I had to painstakingly give the information six times. I do not use lifts so request a room on floors 1 or 2, on this trip I was offered rooms on the 5th and 6th floors. This hotel I got a room on the 3rd floor which was very small and dark and the safe was not secured to anything, it could be lifted manually. After requesting an alternative we got a very acceptable 2nd floor room. The cleaning staff were excellent and the catering staff the same. The breakfast was varied and the service competent, professional and friendly. The reception was pleasant and accommodating.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room cleaned and beds made every day. Apartment was brilliant with 2 en suites bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Location of hotel was in a good position just a short walk to gare du nord and 3 options of metro stations so you can get anywhere in Paris really easily. Loved our stay in Paris in this hotel.

Location of hotel was excellent within walking distance of Gare du Nord and 2 local metro stations. Lots of food options around. The rooms were beautifully designed. The air conditioning didn’t work as well as it could have in the rooms but we were able to open the windows to let the air outside cool rooms. There was a decent selection for breakfast and pastries were delicious. All the staff were really lovely and always ready to help us out.

A short overnight stay. Room was adequately sized for a city break, and fitted two adults and a teenager adequately. We really enjoyed visiting Sacred Couer and Montmartre, a 30 minutes walk away. There was noise from the room above during the night- so perhaps better soundproofing would be good. The breakfast was good. Staff were really friendly, and very helpful

« An unpleasant stay »

I was in a Mercure hotel before, so I booked 5 nights in a standard room. When I arrived, I realized that the room was too small, so I asked for a larger one that costs 30 euros more per night (In total 205.32 per night). Although the room supposedly had air conditioning, it did not work. As I reported but they did not repair it, I requested another room with the air conditioning working well, but they did not have it. Meanwhile, I asked to extend my stay for 2 days with a similar rate, but I had a very unpleasant surprise when I realized that they applied the full rate (360.06 euros per night) for the same room. I complained to the manager and told her that I felt mistreated but she told me that Paris was full because it had many conventions (Classic answer), but I checked the rate on the website and the price was around 230.00 euros. The room service did not make the room one day. The breakfast was excellent and the staff is polite. I moved to the Crowne Plaza (Paris-Republique) to end my vacation, in a larger room with an air conditioner that works perfectly. This hotel has many more services and it costs me more or less the same.
