Being a small boutique hotel it was very good. Even though the lift was not working for the first 2 days it is a good hotel to stay at with plenty of options for food in the nearby area.

Felt like a giant in the land of Liliputs. I'm 2 meters tall and 150 kgs. I'm used to beds being too short and as long as you can lie down diagonal, it's fine. But the room was very tight and I could not stand up straight in the shower, because of the low ceiling. Excellent breakfast (except for coffee, which was black water). Very nice and helpful receptionists.

Booked a two-night stay at this hotel and on the second day there was a problem with the toilet. I addressed the problem with the receptionist who promptly offered to move us to a different room. the new room turned out to be even bigger than the one we had. Overall, very friendly and helful reception. Would definetely stay again.

I stayed in the hotel for 5 days. Even though the elevator didn't work, the staff tried to help me move my luggage. Room was clean and cozy but kinda small. One thing that I didn't like was there was no curtain or something that could block water from the shower.

Came very late in the night and got room no 602. It was a damp smell when we came into the room. Then we felt it was very wet on the carpet. No wonder about the damp smell. Had to change room. It took almost 45 min to change in the reception (02.00). Staff didn't know to say hello/bonjour. Not very serviceminded. We were unlucky that the elevator broke down after 1 day. Didn't get fixed for the rest of our stay (4 nights). Stayed in 5th floor...

We can imagine how surprising it could have been, and even though we are glad that you could be move to a better room, we would like to give you our most sincere apologies. As it was explained during your check in: our elevator was not broken but was upgraded to be accessible to disable people. As much as we understand the disagreement of not being able to use the lift, please understand that those type of maintenance are a legal obligation that all hotels need to respect. No technician was to be seen working on the lift as the pieces to be changed first have to be custom made for our own elevator. Once the measurements were taken, we had to wait for those pieces to be realized before installing them. In order to avoid our guests any disagreement during this time, a porter was at your disposal to carry your bags; and a little gift was waiting for you in your bedroom. The name of the hotel is a bit misleading. It is quite far from Opera. I walked from Gare du Nord - which was an experience. The room was too hot, bathroom very tight. Carpet appeared to have stains on it. Also, didn't care for the scribbled artwork on the ceiling. Reception area was also very tight.

We are sorry that you felt misled: the Opéra is located 13min walking from our hotel which we would assume is quite close, especially in a capital. Even though Gare du Nord is only 15min away walking, I completely understand that it can be difficult to walk in the streets with a luggage. The bus 43 drives directly from the station, and leaves you at 4min from the hotel. Do not hesitate for the next time to call our reception if you have any doubt: they would have love to give you little tips to make your journey easier. We are sorry that - to quote –“ you didn't care for the scribbled artwork on the ceiling”. We are rather fond of it, so we can only hope that it was not as bad as to disturb your stay or your sleep. We are sorry that you were not pleased by some elements of your room. We would have liked to hear about it while you were with us; and see how to make your stay better: turn on the A/C in your room; see if you would be interested in a room with a bigger bathroom in a superior category, etc. Kind regards, Camille – Assistant manager.

The breakfast was amazing. The accommodations were clean, but very small. The location is central to all of the different metro stations so that was very convenient. Walls were very thin. We could hear everything going on in the rooms around us.

Nice small hotel conveniently located close to North station and the Grands Boulevards. Had a Privilege room, it was rather big by Paris standards. Well appointed and clean. Hotel serves buffet breakfast which is ok though a bit pricey. Neighbourhood can be noisy which was a problem as it was hot, a/c was not working and I could not open the window. Besides that nice place and friendly staff

The hotel was conveniently placed near to the Opera and Saint Denis regions, close to the Gare de l'Est and the Metro network. Rooms were small, but clean and well-equipped, although there was some disturbance from the courtyard early in the morning from people living around the hotel. We elected not to have the breakfast, but otherwise the bar was convenient. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the level of English was very good. We enjoyed the stay.
