I stay at this hotel regularly and had never any bad experiences, until now. I always book a room with double bed. However, this time I had to book a room with single bed. So, this room was a smaller room with a single bed. It was for the same price as the room with a double bed. When I arrived at the bedroom the cupboard behind the bedroom door was not a pleasant site as the carpet was dirty and discoloured. The main room was average condition but clean. The hot water, whether it was the shower or the wash sink, had a pressure problem and through this no hot water was present in the room. I found this out the next day in the morning, when I tried to take a shower. The overhead or the handheld shower had the same problem and hot water, if any hot water, dripped out of the shower. So, I had to take a quick unpleasant shower mainly with cold water. While staying at the room, but before taking shower in the morning I decided to open the window, the back yard was full of dirt, old clothes, cans, bottles, leaves, etc. This proves that the hotel only keeps the front clean but not the backsides. I felt as off I slept in a starless dirty B&B. I did complaint but the staff just went quite and said they will look into it. Like, I said I stay here regularly I will definitely not sleep in the single rooms. Iron board and iron are provided in all double bed rooms but here I was welcomed with a notice to say that if I needed one I should call the reception !!! This is when you pay the same as the double bed room prices. So never again I will book the single room.

Parking and check in were easy. The staff friendly and helpful Our room had been refurbished and was in the main much better for this. We ate on the restaurant and the food was good, tasty and a reasonable price for an airport hotel. One to use again.

Overnight prior to flight back to AUS from Heathrow. Friendly greeting at reception, with offers of assistance with bags. Organised a taxi for morning. Had a meal in the restaurant. Effiecient and friendly staff. Not sure of waiter's name, I should have remembered as he was very attentive and efficient.

Check in was quick and efficient, I believe the young lady's name is Savvanah, who as checked me in a numerous occasions, now even remembers my name and preferred room level. Savvanah always as a smile on her face, and is cheerful and extremely helpful, an asset to your hotel, I firmly believe that the GM at this hotel should recognise and reward her for her charming and approachable attitude. Room clean and fresh, comfortable bed, however room was slightly hot on this occasion, the A/C didn't seem to cool the room at all. Check out gain very easy with the express checkout option, I left in the early hours (work related) around 4.30am, this is the third occasion whereby I've been promised I would receive a invoice via email, however this as never appeared.

Four of us stayed en route out from Heathrow and 10 days later again on our return journey. I found the breakfast was expensive especially when they ran out of baked Beans and Bacon and when asked said it would be two minutes. It was far longer and too slow for me to wait around for it. Reception were extremely helpful with my sister in law needing a trolley when staff actually wheeled it for us and the ordering of a taxi on a fixed price to Kings Cross. Very good

« Room difficult to access with suitcases on trolley, room too cold »

Our room was along an extremely narrow corridor and the door to the room was too narrow to get the luggage trolley through. We had to reload the trolley and stand the suitcases on their ends to get the trolley down the corridor. Then after unloading we could not turn the trolley around as the corridor was too narrow so we had to pull the trolley backwards to take it back to reception. The people in the room opposite were complaining about the problem too. The room temperature was too cold, we complained to reception when leaving about this and were told someone else had complained about this too. So two people complained before 7.30am. Also no extra blankets in room.

The desk staff are always great at this hotel. Darhsan greeted me and remembered me from previous stays. This is quite impressive given I have not stayed there for a number of months and I don't even think he was on duty on the previous occasion. I am always given a welcome drink at that hotel - not always the case in other Accor hotels. The rooms, whilst on the small side are perfectly adequate, well equipped and above all - quiet. If I have one tiny criticism of the rooms, it is that the sheets are a little furry - not really an issue. I look forward to staying at this hotel.

Staff at reception dealt with misunderstanding well, and assured me that they would follow up with issue. Happy to say I have since received email from customer relations who are looking into issue. It seems like an average hotel with the usual facilities. The room, I have to say was a Pokie space with blotches of lord knows what on the carpet, also food particles. One would think housekeeping would have cleaned the carpet, it certainly needs to be steam cleaned, not pleasant. Thankfully I was only in that room for one night.

I notified the hotel in advance that due to a missed flight, I would not staying. Although I had paid in advance I was informed that I could not have refund or transfer my booking. I therefore cannot rate the hotel.

Firstly, I was taken aback in checking in to be asked for payment of a five day booking up front. I travel a lot and this has NEVER been the case: pay for something you've not had or experienced. Secondly, the room I now oats for was ridiculously small for two people. And to then upgrade to a larger (what is a standard room anywhere else), required an extra £10 per night (again, Up front!) Thirdly, to make matters worse this 'upgraded' room meant paying for an extremely noisey room backing the M4: only one night I managed some reasonable sleep. Fourthly, my partner attempted to use the gym (one of the reasons we chose this hotel) only to find the multi-gym was broken - a concern in itself.

I stayed in a room That was so noisy room 155 in between cupboards and basically at the end of the corridor. Above me sounded like furniture was been moved and high heels constantly walking above the ceiling. I explained this to the member of staff on check out who apologised but didn’t really do anything else except couldn’t wait to take my payment as he had a que. I have worked in the hotel industry in a previous hotel if this would have occoured and a person companied of been kept awake and getting no sleep there is no way we would have charged them for that nights stay.

Friendly efficient staff, food was good in bar, rooms were clean and tidy but have maintenance issues with aircon, ventilators and safes. Plumbing also below par. I paid under £60 for my stays so maybe I got the worst rooms.

Disappointing. Was awake a lot of the night due to a baby probably in the interconnecting room next door crying all night and adults talking and having the TV on. I had flown in from a holiday in India and the whole reason for staying with you was to get some sleep before driving to North Yorkshire. I had booked to have full breakfast. Went into have breakfast approximately 7.30am. As I always do at home and any of the hotels that I stay in, I had 2 cups of coffee first. After having had the coffee and while queuing to serve myself from the Buffett, restaurant manager approached me and said that he had noticed that I was only drinking (coffee) and would I mind sitting outside the restaurant and drinking!! I pointed out that I was queuing to get some breakfast at that very moment. Very disappointing. This has never happened to me before and the fact that it should happen at an Accor hotel is doubly disappointing. Will not be going anywhere near this hotel ever again.

Being a smaller airport hotel than most it is more personal and there are only short walks to rooms. Thére was however a long wait to check in as there were only 2 staff available.

We had to wait like others to check in as receptionist disappeared to sort out parking problems. Reluctant to use shower as electric towel rail at end of bath had badly applied tape covering heater connection.
