One big complaint, bedroom was freezing, cold air was coming from a machine under the window, but after complaining a portable heater was brought in. So was quite satisfied with hotel.

Room initially very cold - only way to deal with it was to turn heater/aircon off completely and it very slowly warmed up Bath with fixed shower Blue bolster on the bed in need of a wash Noisy equipment outside - query generator or similar

Shockingly bad customer service from the Manager who, despite being shown evidence of pre payment for rooms from a Silver Card holder blackmailed us in to paying again. Ruined the start to our holiday. I will be taking this matter up upon my return.

Poor customer service across reception, bar and restaurant. @ reception, struggling with basic checking, plus I had to chase my invoice ( when I called, reception staff actually decided to transfer me as could not cope). I tried to order in room dining, but no-one picked up the phone ( 4 attempts). I had to get to the bar to order and then key items on the displayed menu ( pizza) were not available. at breakfast, food was poor (scramble eggs)

the staff do not understand basic English and also do not understand the trade and customer service. They are obviously not trained in this field and lack the basic skills and service that are required in this line of work. I suggest you employ actual waiters, bar staff and reception staff who actually understand the trade

We used this hotel just for sleeping really as we had arrived on a flight early in the morning and wouldn’t like the drive home. On arrival at 9am we asked if we could check in earlier than the 2pm check in so we could sleep, at first the lovely lady on reception Marika and her colleague didn’t know if she would be able to help with our request, however after a phone call she could accommodate us with a lovely big room at no extra cost! This was wonderful! Rooms were huge! Lovely comfortable beds and big tv, fridge, tea/coffee, wardrobe, ironing board, table and chairs also. Great for the money! We used our Accor points to pay for half of the stay so our stay here was a bargain!

First of all I had booked a queen bed, but i was given double bed with additional single bed and a baby bed. Me and my partner hardly had any space to walk. I requested the reception to remove it, it took them till 19:00 pm to send someone. In terms of cleanliness, chairs had pet hair all over it and very clear visible dirty stains. fridge looked like it hadn't been cleaned for at least a week. the door would not close itself, I had to push it with force. Air conditioning kept on switching itself off, we were sleeping in sweat. Worst sleep i have ever had. When we checked out, the lady at the reception served us with no smile, as if it was her first day at a customer service role. once checked out, all I heard her say was "its done", nothing else, not a single word more. and on top of this, we could hear every foot step of the person staying above us, it was very loud and clear. It was a nightmare. It was extremely disappointing.

Hotel is not 4* ....it is tired and tatty. My bed was so badly sprung i continually sagged into the middle. the first floor of the garage is alive with pigeons and their faeces - it is dreadful.

Service good, staff polite and clean however a few checking in problems with booking and restaurant menu. Booked over the phone and had to give 3 different credit card numbers as none accepted, advised there was problems with the system but would be ok on the day. Arrived to find we had 3 rooms booked. were advised that there was a 3 course meal deal with the restaurant if booked at reception & shown the menu, arrived in the restaurant to find this was not the menu. Marika the Manager was very helpful. however still have a pending charge on my card until 16/9/19 for more than the invoice which was settled on the day & has been deducted from my card ? why & please can it be removed as I am unable to access the remaining funds. Thank you in anticipation of your prompt attention to this matter
