Hotel stated as close to T5 with connections. It is not so, you have to transfer to T2/3 to get a hoopa shuttle bus. Taxis was £25 to get there.

The AC is horrible, i haven't sleep 2 nights on 4, they change me a room, in both room, was the same, 13 degrees, feeling like i was sleeping outside, i wasn't the onlyone complaining. You must call the guy at the reception to put AC on, he will do it, AC will work 30 minutes, after that will come back on off and snow sign, COLD wake me up 2 times in both roms, TOO COLD. First 2 mornings i complain, they say we will call service, but no. When i ask to speak with the manager, the only solution he had was giving me a mobile heater. Very horrible stay, i will never forget, but i'll forget this hotel forever.

The stuff was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The space in the room was small, but I understand it was a single room. On arrival I enjoyed free bonus drink from Costa and this was much appreciated. I regret I did not have time for doing work out in the gym, which is available in this hotel.

everything fine, but the sanitary facility improper installed (room near the lift at 1st floor). You could clearly/loudly hear water running down from bathroom above., which is very noisy and was my 'wake-up call', two hours before I wanted to get up. Clearly bad installation with no noise protection. Also, at washbasin the cold and hot water were inverted. Cleary not a professional installation. Things like these should be in a hotel of this category. Check your contractors. Other than this - all good.

Fabulous staff. Large room. Fully equipped and lovely and warm. Good comfy bed and pillows. Excellent bar on site. Heated towel rail in bathroom had no fuse and unfortunately this couldn’t be rectified hence the score of 8. Otherwise excellent. Lovely ambience especially as it was approaching Christmas. Would stay again

We stayed at this hotel last year before flying out of Heathrow and did a search for the same thing this year and it came up again as a good buy, and it is still a very good hotel at a very good price, the food in the restaurant was well priced and of good quality ,car parking was under cover and close to the reception, rooms were smallish but quite acceptable and were clean and tidy and well decorated, would quite happily stay there again when next flying from Heathrow

For the good points: Pleasant stay. Good food served at the bar. Nice, warm, and welcoming reception area. For the not so good points: Overall cleanliness of our room could have been better. Bathroom had a leak coming from either the shower or toilet. Main living area light was not working. Requested a cot and a bed for our infant and chid when booking. Had to request these again after check-in. This becomes an inconvenience when you have been traveling with 2 children for 4 hours and need to get them to bed. Room was supplied with plug-in portable radiator since there was no direct heat.

I am a regular customer at the Mercure hotels and have stayed at this hotel previously, being extremely satisfied. However this time, there was no warm/hot water for the majority of my stay, except for around half an hour. The water was not even coming out of the tap, let alone cold. I phones reception on numerous occasions to be told there was nothing they could do about it, nor was an apology made or any attempt to try to recompensate. Due to this inconvenience, I ran late for all my appointments on the day of checkout as I couldn’t get ready. I am sure you can understand the inconvenience and disruption this caused me. Upon arrival my first question that I got was if I paid for the room. Not welcome but "Did you pay for the room?" The person at the front desk spoke English with a very strong accent and it was difficult for me to understand or for her to understand me. I asked for a local pub or restaurant and she started explaining me how to take a bus to a certain place. While I clearly stated I came by car. I find it a strange thing when ordering a glass of white wine, that first the wine is poured into a measure cup and then into the glass. This gives a feeling of small-mindedness and stinginess. It is the first time that only I as a Silver club member got a welcome drink. In the past in other Mercure Hotels (e.g. in London near The Shard), me and my partner got welcome drinks... The bed in the room was comfortable, but the chairs held a lot of dirty stains. I did not want to imagine where those stains came from... The bathroom is really outdated with 2 seperate taps at the sink. I especially booked the privilege room for more comfort. This did not feel like extra comfort. Nor the bathtub which was rather small. The refrigerator was dirty and looked old. In general all of the furniture in the room was outworn. Breakfast was that terrible that we decided not to have it the 2nd morning. We went to Starbucks in stead. The coffee was very watery, the eggs weren't fresh and felt as if they came out of a package. The toaster did not work on one side as a result you had one side toasted and the other one not. The fruit was dried out. And the sausages were not fresh at all. In the meantime there was a quarell in the kitchen amongst the staff. Three of the female staff were constantly standing in the restaurant and chitchatting. I was happy to get out of this hotel, although this was a Black Friday deal, I will never come back again here.

Very nice, and food was enjoyable, cleaned hotel and staff very nice . The only bit is water was cut in the bath room before we leave the hotel . We couldn't have a shower before our departure.
