Great stay. Excellent clean accommodation, staff helpful, pleasant and efficient. Good good. We recommend this hotel that is very convenient for Heathrow airport. We stay in Mecure Hotels across Europe on a regular basis and this is one of the best we have stayed at .

« A GOOD HOTEL AT A REASONABLE PRICE »

Appart from the noisy people in the room above I enjoyed my two nights stay. Why don't you have a menu displayed outside the restaurant, to tempt people in? It put me off by having to ask to see the menu before going in.

This was my second time staying at the hotel. The first time was good therefore I chose to stay here again before boarding a flight from Heathrow. I regularly stay in Accor hotels and have been a silver member for the last 2 years however this was not a great experience starting from not being greeted in a polite way. I had to ask if it was possible to get drinks vouchers which the receptionist seemed disgruntled by and answered with “yes I can see you are a silver member”. In the bathroom there was mould/scum around the shower and the shower glass had plastic coming off it. As well as this, the area above the toilet roll holder had some sort of old, sticky patch whereby something had been fixed to in the past. When ringing for room service, I asked if it was possible to have a Caesar salad without chicken. The member of staff laughed at me down the phone and I ended up having one with chicken. Lastly, when trying to turn the tv on, I found that the remote had no batteries. On ringing reception, I received the response of “give me 10 minutes” when there was finally a knock on my door, I got handed the batteries and the member of staff walked off without any acknowledgement. I rarely complain as I’ve had positive experiences with the Accor brand however I feel I won’t be staying here again.

Staff very helpful. Overall cleanliness of room good but attention to some areas required. Breakfast disappointing; only scrambled eggs not froed/poached. Fresh fruit selection very poor. Also not topped up enough and only small portions put out which disappeared very quickly. Dinner selection fair.

I stayed for one night I found the food very poor I had the ham and eggs and was shocked to get wafer thin packet ham and fr3nch fries and thought that for the price of the meal it would of been carved ham from a joint The bed I found to be very hard and to have children running and screaming up and down the corridor when people are trying to sleep and have to be up early to work the next day it’s not the best experience I have had on the plus side at least the room was clean

« Excellent facility close to M4 and Legoland »

Enjoyable stay at this Mercure. Well signposted from the M4, so easy enough to find. Polite greeting on arrival, all staff pleasant and courtious throughout. Room was big, especially for a family of four. Plenty of space, bed was comfortable and good sundries left in the room. Food in the bar was good quality, and good value for money when the kids each had a two course meal for free. The use of the x-box in the lounge bar was a good idea and kept my little boy entertained whilst we chilled out. Free wi-fi included was also a bonus. Breakfast on each morning was a little fraught but with so many guests it was understandable that keeping on top of the food stocks was difficult at times. The food was of a decent quality and enough to keep us full until lunchtime. Parking was easy enough and free whilst we stayed. Good location for travelling to Legoland, Windsor. Only took around 15-20 minutes to get there from the hotel. Although the hotel is close to Heathrow there was no real issue with noise from aircraft, only occasional background noise from the neighbouring Fire Station, but didn't disturb our sleep. The only issue we had during our stay was the temperature of the shower whilst using it, it would not stay constant often going from very hot to very cold without doing anything. It wasn't a major issue but had to be managed when the children were using it. Other than that issue I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Accommodation was first rate. We appreciated the upgrade to a superior room upon arrival. Staff were helpful, efficient and pleasant to deal with. We look forward to our stay upon our return to the UK at the end of the month. We usually stay at Mecure hotels when travelling in the UK and Europe and this hotel we rate as being one of the best that we have stayed at.

The experience wasn't great. Car park was full on arrival, and as a business woman in heels, it was really hard to manoeuvre around the car park in heels, with the current flooring. The rooms were small and the air con unit was so noisy I had to turn it off, I then opened the window and resulted in the worst nights sleep I have ever experienced. When checking in, there were 3 members of staff standing around, and only one checking in, we waited over 45 minutes.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was not very clean. Surfaces in both the bathroom and bedroom had not been wiped clean and consequently could not be properly sanitized. The glassware in the bathroom and bedroom was not clean. The sink had probably been wiped with a dirty towel but not cleaned and therefore not sanitary. Soap residue was evident. I did not take a shower. There was black mold on the caulking around the tub. Say no more. Your hotel is in great need of a refurb. The cuisine also needs an upgrade. I can not imagine how it qualifies for a four star rating. Sorry, but you asked.

I took my daughter to legoland for 2 days & we decided to stay over to save the long car journey, first impressions of the hotel was that it looked extremely clean & we was greeted by very friendly staff. Everyone was very helpful and we had a quick check in service, we will Definetly be back

« Horrible bed »

The hotel location was amazing. But i was concerned about the number of flies in the pub area and the quality of the food. The bed in my room was very soft and gave me a sinking feeling. Which was not what i needed before a long flight the next day as i could not get a good sleep. The staff were amazing but shame about the above.

We stayed here several times with no issues.However on the last two occasions we have been given the same room at first. This room (287)happens to have an issue with the air conditioning.Ie it can not be controlled correctly with the room controls.An electric radiator is Supplied haha .The controls which are located in the reception area of the hotel and are operated by the staff don't seem to work either. My previous stay was in early February.We are now late march. This should never have happened the second time as I booked a queen size bed.I was also charged more then if I had just booked online on the same day which I found bizarre. I have left a 7 star rating only because I was given a premium room upgrade after I complained.Overwise my generous rating would have been considerably lower.
