Rooms needs updating, shoody work in bathrooms, and small. Not suitable for a larger person in the shower, was not very clean, would not want to NOT wear slippers or shoes on floor. Dirty filter in fan. OK for 1 night. Extra bed was not in room upon arrival, and room confusion and had to keep going to reception to get this fixed.

« I think facilities and cleanliness could be better, and my checking out experience was not all I hoped. »

There were a few issues with check-in, but the member of staff was a trainee so I am happy to not comment further. The bathroom was not cleaned to the standard that I expected. Neither the bath nor the sink looked particularly well cleaned. In particular I expect taps to be bright and shiny and these were dull and smeared ... as if cleaning had not been completed. As this is an airport hotel, it means that guests will be arriving and leaving at unusual times of the day. I had booked a bed and breakfast rate but was incredibly disappointed to discover that there was no breakfast available earlier enough to leave the hotel at 06:15. Bearing in mind that the Heathrow flight schedule is publicly available, I think that the hotel needs to cater for it guest population better. And finally, check-out was carried out in a very nonchalant fashion. And I am still waiting to receive a copy of my final invoice.

There are 2 different wings in the hotel, if you were to get the older wing, the rooms are old, tired and comes with poor insulation. Evident noise from the highway can be heard. Had to literally squeeze in the tiny bathroom to shower and no place to put the toiletries when showering.

« Overnight stay near Heathrow airport. »

We had an overnight stay as we were travelling from Heathrow..location to terminal 5 was good about 15 minute taxi drive, we were greeted by friendly staff at reception, we also were able to leave our car at a rate of £10 per night, which we thought was reasonable, our initial room had problems with the toilet not flushing, but we were moved no problem where the next room was comfortable and clean.

It was okay: not really four star, more a motel experience. Front desk didn’t know the difference between checking out on Tuesday or Thursday, restaurant staff mudded up order (although this was rectified). Hoops Shuttle was a nightmare. Nothing shocking but wouldn’t particularly recommend or stay again.

I stayed here for business, for 4 weeks. I found that the rooms (especially bathrooms were quite dirty) lots of dust in rooms, hairs found on sheets. Overall stay was good, nice bar and good food. Only improvement as I say is a good tidy up and clean, that needs to be kept up!!!

« Broken Air Con and Late Fire Alarm »

I checked in late to the hotel, for an early departure the next day. I went straight to bed on arrival, but just after 2330, the fire alarm went off. I understand that this is not necessarily thr hotels fault, but it did interrupt my rest. I then had to change rooms at approx 0300 as the aircon unit developed a fault, causing it to heat rather than cool, despite being set at the lowest temperature possible. The heat became so uncomfortable I could not sleep, so I called reception to move rooms for the last few hours of my stay, to try and salvage a couple of hours rest. To be fair, this was auctioned promptly, but overall I only had about 2-3 hours sleep. I might as well have stayed at home and driven to Heathrow early in the morning, but I thought I would get more rest by staying over.
