« My daughter and myself really enjoyed our stay with you maybe we will come back in the wet season one year. »

My daughter went on one of the 4x4 tours to Jim JIm falls she loved that(i'm not fit enough) We also did the breakfast trip on the yellow river which was very good our guide Reuben was very knowledgeable. The chalets were very comfortable and enjoyed a meals and few drinks at the bar.

« hundred out of 10 for the birds - 5 out of 10 for the accommodation »

check in was secure and effective. We had a problem with the TV which someone helped us with. The food was good but basic. The tour was outstanding - except for one rude bus driver. Enjoyed and will come again.

« Quick visit to Kakadu »

Cooinda Lodge is well located in the Park and provides (possibly) the best hotel experience while maintaining a sense of remoteness and a feel of the area. The boat trip on Yellow Waters is the highlight as well as side visits to various park attractions. The dining experience is certainly rustic rather than fine dining. Hotel rooms are comfortable and it is good to be able to sleep without aircon by keeping the windows open, supplemented by the fan.

« very good »

Great friendly attitude, clean facilities. The only two problems was finding the actual room (signage was not good) and no wifi

« The room was tired and outside seating impossible to sit at. »

Well below normal Accor standards. The breakfast was reasonable, but the floating "poached" eggs a huge turn off. The dinner queue on the first night was too long and too slow, so we opted for take away fish'n'chips, and, for godsake - karaoke - didn't that die decades ago? The pre breakfast cruise on Yellow Water was excellent and the highlight. The accommodation was not good value for money.

Comfortable rooms, clean and friendly. Far cleaner and better than Mercure Crocodile.

« Great stay in a great location - an oasis »

The unit (Delux) was great but could have done with a plug in the bathroom sink. The connections to the crusies made everything seamless and the staff at check in were very helpful. One other suggestion would be to provide a better map to the units - we ended up going too far and it took us a while to figure out we needed to take the first turnoff to the pool - saw another arrival do the same - maybe a sign at the turnoff to direct to the chalets.

« A pleasant surprise »

We were pleasantly surprised by the freshly renovated room and the facilities available at the hotel (petrol station, convenient store, shuttle bus) - much better than expected considering the remote location. The place was well managed and catered for most of our needs. Staff was very nice but more staff is needed at the reception counter. Dinner was good but breakfast can be improved. Addition of wifi would be great and the convenient store should open till later (we and another group of guests came after dinner at 8-ish to find out it was closed). Understood you may be short on staff though. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will stay again next time we're in Kakadu.

« Good »

It was a comfortable stay in the tents. An 'easy' way to camp. The bathroom was a bit of a walk away. The tent could do with a mirror so you don't have to walk all the way to the shared camping bathrooms! However the beds were comfortable and sufficient bedding was supplied. The dinner wasn't very good. Very little flavour on the barramundi and the egglant dish was so thick that it wasn't cooked through. However the girl behind the bar was very helpful when choosing what drink to have and allowed my mum to try a beer before she ordered it.

We stayed at Flashcamp and found it to be just what we like but it would be nice to have a small bedside lamps to be able to read at night

« Relaxed, fantastic and awesome sunrise tour »

The glam tents were fabulous and just what I hoped for. The outdoor eating area at the restaurant was inviting and a fun family environment. Facilities were great and clean along with a brilliant sunrise cruise!! Probably best stay of the 4 day trip!!
