Access to other floors were denied and that caused lot of dis comfort as we were their for a meeting and many of our team members were allocated rooms in other floors.So we were not able to sit together and prepare presentations for the meeting.

Good Infrastructure. Day time sun light is come to the room, which is very important. Great breakfast buffet all kind of varieties of food are available. Staff interaction was nice. Liked they provided Bluetooth enable speaker in the room. Security wise also good like elevators are linked with hotel room key. which means you can't have access to other floor other then you room's floor

The stay was short and sweet. I checked in late and had to check out early the next day. The room were comfortable. The dinner at the coffee shop was good and so was the breakfast. The staff was courteous and check in and checkout was fast.

Room was good, clean and comfortable. House keeping service was also prompt and minor repair was done promptly. Food was excellent in many ways - particularly buffet. More continental items like baked food, simple cookies, would be better addition. Car hire service could have been better. Inside room electricity needs to be brighter as per requirement of the guest. Also, plumbing needs some frequent services. I wish all the very best.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is well maintained and has courteous staff. Rooms were well maintained and lit. Breakfast was good and has good spread. The hotel is located in a prime location/city centre and is convenient to travel to any part of the city. The areas for improvement was that the relevant TV channels were not valid/subscribed to. When requested for Loofah the staff was not able to provide and said they don't provide. The room provided was directly in front of the lift and the lift made noise and was heard constantly whenever the lift stopped at my floor.

Inconsistent Service

I stay, as does other board members, at the Novotel often. I would rate this stay as inconsistent. Sometimes things went well, sometimes not. Sometimes staff were helpful, sometimes not. Also for the buffet, may be a good idea to add more western dishes. Even my Italian dish I asked for the chef could not resist to add spices, even though I asked for no spice. Rooms and location are very good, most staff are very helpful.

Unprofessional , untrained and money extracting

Ever changing on the spot prices . Looks like a mystery way of extracting money on the spot when one reaches the hotel. Unwelcoming attitude. Breakfast excluding , not part of package which makes it difficult to make decision and impossible to travel with kids. Not worth travelling with family to Novotel ever. Rooms are cramped . Not sure if there are bigger rooms. All the time goes in packing unpacking to accommodate in such a room. Bathrooms are open which makes it difficult to use toilet and bathroom and hurts privacy of individuals. In order to get extended stay from guest hotel staff promises some money citing discount coupons . AT the time of billing they make sure that you somehow cross 12:00 pm limit and then charge you extra money telling " No we did not promise you the offer price ". In our case the hotel staff did not give us key during our extended stay citing us " You come back after roaming in city then i shall give you key" . Let your luggage be in room. So you basically go out based on trust on the hotel and staff considering it is 5* hotel. I have never seen in any hotel someone not giving you key of your room . I felt fishy that time itself. To your bad when you come back Since you already crossed 12:00 pm limit they can always force you to pay. Looks like a group effort on getting money. Basically citing that guest is lying they ask you more price. You have to pay this money since now it is your mistake. A day before they promised us 5800 approx including tax and breakfast and citing some offer . The manager even asked someone discount coupon on phone and told us this amount.We asked them multiple times is it including taxes and breakfast and we were told yes to which we decided to extend stay in the hotel. They did not give us key on the day asking you to roam in city and come back . When we came back around 6:00 pm we were asked to pay 8000 approx citing they never promised such offer . Commenting unprofessional attitude on pricing on guest as if they are doing some favour on giving a room . That too a cramped room not meant for a family stay . Overall a very bad experience. A hotel that cannot accommodate and offer good experience for family is not worth staying ever. For a guest who is spending so much money 2-3 k does not matter . What matters is over all experience. I had to roam around with kids for breakfast , lunch and dinner with ever non-welcoming and lying attitude at billing . I never have experienced such stuff every in any other hotel
