« For the price, a good stay, but some things to be desired »

For the location and cost, this is a great hotel. I would like to stay there again for those reasons. However, lack of ironing board in a room always gets me and the room temperature was really humid or freezing (but maybe this is just March in Rio?). Great location in Botafogo and with a mall nearby. My chief complaint is that the lobby area was insufficient for business meetings. If no one is at the bar, you have to order drinks from upstairs, which is not convenient. A screaming child crashed one of my meetings and the way sound carries in the lobby, there was no way to avoid it.

« Standard, hotel basic needs are covered. »

1. Consider improve the cleaning, the cover in my bed had a band, probably someone else had a cut and the cover was with a drop of blood. 2. There was a cappuccino served with a welcome note from someone else, seems to be from the previous customer, so I had the sense that the room was not very good cleaned. 3. Internet connection and speed very bad.

Since our room has problem of accessing Wi-Fi, feeling frond desk and engineer tried their best to provide a best solution for us. Since we stay twice almost 2 weeks on March. We found the breakfast menu seem exactly the same, it would be better if there is something new or changes.

« Room for improvement »

The room is ok, but a few of them have leakages from the shower to bathroom floor. Rooms also sometimes smell like mold, and bed sheets sometimes have the smell of having not dried well after laundry. Cable TV is not HD and have too few channels (no ESPN Brasil, Fox Sports channels, EI, etc). Wardrobes could have more hangers. I usually stay 4-5 nights and need to hang more than one piece of clothes in one hanger. Lamp floor-switch is always disassembled.

about 2 months no major issues need to improve : - silence of maid when cleaving room early in the morning - maids cannot forget to add the laundry bags or the nespresso coffee - kitchen cannot run out of butter or honey !! or brown bread !

Everything was new and very clean. I really enjoyed the bathroom with a glass view for the bed. However I didn't like the breakfast. At 9:50AM the food was almost gone and no one was putting back some more. It looked like that the breaksfast was done nyt 10:00.
