« Very good staying in Riga downtown »

Hotel is perfectly located in the city center. From back side of the hotel there's big secured parking. Very good breakfast. I had room with big terrace. In my room there were no table to work, but such table can be supplied by the hotel staff.

The Pullman Riga is a great business hotel or for tourists visiting Riga. It's a no fuss property with a cozy bar and lounge area near reception. It's more practical than romantic but good all the same.

The hotel is in a very good location with charm and character, spacious rooms, sauna, pool and other great facilities. The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast was great with a multitude of options (both hot and cold). Many of Riga's most popular and historic sites are within walking distance.

« Tepid experience »

This time experience was little tepid. Unfortunately this was the second time when I had problems with Bed type as on my previous visit was also (Last visit was on June 2018 when I was with one or my female friend and make reservation to separate twin bed. She checked in 10 minutes before me and on arrival I met angry woman that was already drag her luggage with sore leg to two different rooms just to see that room was with king bed) . On this visit we have same problem but different way as my room was with twin beds even I Made reservation to king bed. After I returned to reception they guide me to bar with Voucher ( that I didn't receive on first attempt) and promised that bed type will be changed. After 15-20 minutes sitting on the bar reception confirmed that room is now ready and I returned to room just to see that nothing was happened and it was still twin bed. I left my luggages to room and returned to reception where stuff was very embarrassed about situation but I said them that I left my luggages to room and i will take little walk and I wished that bed problem is sorted during that walk. After walk Bed was correct type, however room was bloody cold with temperature of 17 degrees. It take also several hours before room temperature was comfortable. On that evening I ate on the restaurant but my first selection wasn’t available as there were no ingredients in stock. My second selection was OK . Overall everything else was OK during my visit, however general experience was little tepid and ii wasn’t like my couple first visits to this hotel. I tried this hotel first time couple years ago as I wasn’t happy about Radisson Latvia or Ridzene and I was amazed about hotel level when compared to Radisson. However my previous experience to Radisson Elizabete on summer 2018 ( I got also Radisson silver loyalty) was much better so I’m consider book that to next trip.

The hotel was in an excellent location on the edge of The Old Town. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good choice for breakfast with all tastes catered for.

Rooms are excellent, spacious, spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. Food provided (buffet style at a conference lunch) was excellent, varied and with brilliant provision for gluten-free and vegetarian diets. Staff were helpful and courteous. The location is also perfect to experience the Old Town.

Arrived at noon and got a small upgrade. Went to SPA for a nice swim. Mint and lemon water offered free of charge. Great long sleep and grand breakfast afterward.

« Good experience but did not meet the expectations with regard to price/quality »

All in all we had a nice stay. Got a room upgrade to the deluxe room. But despite that we booked and paid a luxury room already which was quite okay (nice design and welcome snacks) however the television did not work the full 4 days of stay. We wanted in the evening as it was raining to be in the hotel and watch sth but none of the international channels worke dlonger that 5minutes (just black screen) and usually it did not work it all just black screen stating "no or too weak signal). After mentioning it to the staff they said they fixed it but it still was not working. I think this is not okay for such a room at all. Also no netflix alternative was possible. Then we wanted to enjoy the spa until one of the staff came into the room with an external woman who stepped into the pool and sauna area with outdoor shoes ( we walked and swimmed there barefoot). Quite disgusting^^. On the third night we also did not get fresh bottles of free water. Other than that the location of the hotel was great and the breakfast was okay. We also liked the friendlyness of the staff.

« Worse short trip stay and room »

It is normally fine. My room had many mosquitos and I was kept up all night and bitten all over. I still have these marks. When I told lady at check out. She didn't apologise and just said I should have told them sooner as the hotel has mosquito repellent. Obviously it is a common issue and unacceptable. The room also was very depressing and facing a brick wall. I work for Playtech who use the hotel frequently and would have expected better. Terrible customer service and terrible sleeping experience. You need to fix your problems with insects.

« Modern and vibrant hotel with a great decor in the Riga Old Town »

I had a fantastic stay. The hotel has such a great feel inside with the lovely architecture blending old with new. The room was a very good size and the bed was very comfortable (as with all Pullman and Sofitel hotels) The restaurant was first class with a great food and wine selection. I also enjoyed the outdoor deck area on the roof and it has a view direct to the freedom monument which glistened in the evening sun. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

« Very nice hotel, poor service »

No recognition for being a Gold member - room was not ready early and no upgrade available. When asked if they could call me when the room was ready they said yes, took my number, and did not call me. When I was checking out, we had a driver waiting to take us to our next destination and the front desk asked me if she should charge me for the driver, I asked how is that possible when it wasn't booked by the hotel and she had no idea.. Quite strange!

Room and facility was very nice. Staff members did not accommodate requests for early checkin or room updates for Gold Le Accors status and front desk staff was quite slow for checking in / checking out.

The room was excellent, comfortable and included everything I needed. I would very much like the swimming pool to be open a bit earlier in the morning. It seems like the restaurant was not prepared for the number of guests, ran out of food for lunch and dinner.
