Unfortunately an alarm was sounding on the second floor from the early hours until breakfast and when I left. I choose not to eat in the restaurant as there was no information about the menu in the room and there appeared to be no one there!

- AC not cooling sufficiently. Staff could not help. - Water dripping from AC. Room changed. New room without bath tube and mirror. - No stairs, overcrwoding of lift in mornings. - Restaurant, chair handle broken, looks staff is okay with this. - No tap water available.

Hello, Room cleaning service is good. Breakfast needs to address. The first day I had some yogurt which was definitely expired. Always had to repeat many times for a coffee. I stayed 4 nights with my daughter where room service is provided only for one person. Example, one bathrobe, one pair of slippers. I tried to call reception desk to raise the issue where I was advised that the child is free of charge hence not considered as a person. It seems as insult and i have never heard of such kind of comments. I was told that the situation will change the next day while nothing has changed until my check out. Conclusion, very disappointed experience while this is not my first time staying in Mercure. Experice in Mercure Lyon was much better. Will not choose Mercure again next time I visit Genova. Will not recommend this one to people around either in case they lost trust in my suggestions. Thank you, Lin W.

My general impression is positive. Bed was comfortable without noise. Drinks in room were for free. Mold in Bathroom like almost in every Italian hotel.

good hotel, clean, not so fare from Genova downtown. Breakfast is ok but not lot of choice. Service is ok, could be more friendly. Free water in the minibar is a very good point. Restaurant and the evening is good.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and also spacious. If you do not mind driving to town for about 25 minutes, this hotel is a great option.

Good rooms and bed . WiFi only worked for a short period, then could not log in after. Was not offered a room upgrade as a gold accor member, or welcome drink. I asked for my drink and was told the bar had closed 5 minutes before I checked in. I asked If I could take a drink to the room instead , and told no . Poor service .

« Good location, big hotel, comfortable rooms »

I like very much the quiet location of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and had all we needed. I also like the large parking space behind the hotel. Breakfast was good. Good service and friendly staff. I don't like only that the breakfast started at 7.00am on Sunday morning instead of 6.30am and therefore we could not have it although we have paid for it.
