« Great design. Getting a bit old. »

Check in was fine. Room is adequate in size but looks dated. Bathroom needs renovation. Dinner was hectic and slow because there was a Kakadu function on which overwhelmed the staff.

« Great location but rooms are old,dated,and need desperate updating »

Stayed there 22 years ago and enjoyed but nothing much has changed since. Rooms are deplorable, bar fridges are too small and useless for chilling drinks or bottles. Double beds masquerading as Queen beds are terrible. Staff were good, not over friendly but good. Breakfasts and buffet dinner was extraordinarily good but general meals average and not up to general standard. Overall, booked 3 rooms with our family but would not go back again or recommend to anyone

« Delightful stay in the Crocodile Hotel »

We had a lovely two-night stay in the Crocodile Hotel in Jabiru in late August. Very comfortable room and we enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but had a delicious meal in the bar one night and enjoyed some very nice cocktails. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful all round, but especially on the day when our tour for the day failed to collect us because of an admin error. The hotel staff rang around and managed to solve our problem and we ended up on our own private tour to the same locations.

Rooms are in dire need of refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. Overall the hotel needs an upgrade. Service was neutral, neither friendly nor rude, a little disappointing with the lack of general voluntary information shared by the reception staff (considering they were not busy).

The up side is that if you are going to stay in Jabiru, this is the best and most comfortable place to stay. The restaurant was very good and the breakfasts excellent. That said, the hotel rooms themselves are a bit run-down and, the biggest fault is a very unstable internet connection. Of course, one is in the Outback but the need to keep in touch with the rest of one's life does not go away. So, I would say that if you are staying here, be prepared to be mostly "un-wired" for your stay.

The room especially the bathroom was very dated, in a climate like this the bathroom should have at least an exhaust fan. The restaurant was awesome, great staff and delicious food. Overall, the one night we stayed was too expensive for what the the hotel offered. At least the breakfast should be included at $224 a night!

My daughter booked my holiday and I was unaware that I was staying at your resort. I was pleasantly surprised as I had wanted to visit Kakadu from the time I had written about Kakadu in an assignment for my University Degree in the late 1980s. For this trip I wanted to travel by train over much of Australia, thus my trip was focussed on the Ghan & the Indian Pacific. Whilst in the Northern Territory I thought it would be an opportunity to visit Kakadu & my daughter added Arnhem Land. We saw a lot in three days, & I have so many memories that my stay at your hotel is a little blurred. However I remember a most comfortable bed, very clean room, tasty food and helpful desk staff & a well stocked shop where I would like to have perused longer. I did love the art work on the wall but as I am not an avid art lover I could not decide on any art to buy. However I thought it was great to be able to see the display of art by many different artists a valuable opportunity. I would have loved to have spent more time & not have been in and out so quickly. That is my fault not yours. We had a breakfast and a dinner I think in your restaurant & enjoyed the naturalness of the staff & their friendly service. I liked the great choice in your Buffet foods as a Type 2 Diabetic. This was my special birthday trip by myself and married daughter.

I was in the hotel for approximately 15 hours so it wasn't very long, just enough for a shower, unwind, sleep, breakfast and off again at 07.30. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the aircon worked. They were the most important things!

We were upgraded to a courtyard room that was really nice. The size of the room, table and chairs, bed and shower were good resulting in a most comfortable stay. There were some maintenance issues as a result of water damage to kitchen cabinets and bath door, not this affected our experience being more cosmetic. The staff were very frienly and helpful.

Staff both at reception and in the dining area were helpful and pleasant. Sometimes it appeared that processes of the hotel were slow and therefore it took time for things to be actioned. Check-in was very slow.

My wife and I enjoyed a one night stay at the Crocodile Hotel. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and the service and food was good. We stayed as part of an AAT Kings Kakadu tour and it gave us a good night's rest in Jabiru.

We loved our holiday and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. The chair and table were not that comfortable and probably needed some cushions. The front staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
