« NEVER COMEBACK AGAIN AT GRAND MERCURE YOGYAKARTA I'M SORRY.. »

Very dissatified. On all service, exclude receptionist, and chef. First of all, no one person greeting on guest when we are comming. Then, we move to executive lounge, the reseption told me my room upgraded to higher room fasilities but after i check, this room as same as i've booked in accor plus apps. Excactly same. They Lied to Us. Third problem came, when i want to take a rest in my room, I check on hangging rack, only ONE piyama on there, I came with my wife, then i order in the reseption. They gave me A.S.AP. good point on that. Move to balcony with merapi view, i choose this room with highest offer flexible rate included breakfast. I look around, dirty balcony i found. Then I look strangers climb in my balcony, laughing while seek around at our room. I choose to closed that balcony ever as long as i staying at. This moment make me mad. Then i see, fruit basket, with not fresh banana on. Then, when I ordered laundry. This moment made me mad. They (old laundry woman) said couldn't do payment in reception, must pay laundry bill at my room. I confirm to reception, the receptions say I could pay in reception with debit card. Then the reception ask the bill, i said, could you ask to laundry crew? Then laundry crew came with bill and our clothes without cover on that. The other people could se our laundry at same time. Shame on them. Sorry for this bad experience. I Really sorry for never comeback again at grand mercure yogyakarta. Thanks for The little cake, but, couldn't pay my dissatisfied with that. What I paid and Expected not inline with What they Served

This hotel have so many quality remarks, such as the hotel and room very clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Especially when you are an accor advantage plus member, you can check-in and check-out in the special dedicated lounge with free refreshments items, and beside that, you still also get 2 complimentary welcome drinks at the bar. If you’re lucky, you can also get free room upgrade. This hotel ambience offers mixed contemporary art between the traditional heritage and modern hotel at once. The location very strategic between the airport and the city central, and easily to located and accessible because its on the main way from Solo, Prambanan, to Jogja. The price is very affordable and reasonable for all the qualities they offered. Suggestion: the bathtub (and the shower attached on it) are too close and in the same shower direction with the wooden clothes wardrobe, the water can reach the wooden wardrobe and might slowly destroy it. And it also have potential to make the clothes inside it slightly wet. Lucky it’s still new right now, but someday it might be leaked or even destroyed. You might need something to block the water to reach the wardrobe or change the water direction.

« nice place to stay, small room for a grand mercure »

overall experience was nice. great. location is ok. check in was easy, quick and staffs are nice n friendly. always love the management of all accor hotels. the room decorated for our short honeymoon trip. very beautiful! request the room type with balcony facing the mountain. not too close but u can see the mountain well. higher level would be best. room was small in my opinion and experiences with Grand Mercure(s). but sleeping experience was great. nice bed as always, nice shower and amenities.. love the batik kimono! breakfast was nice. tasty, many many choices. and the funny thing is this is the only hotel breakfast serving INDOMIE upon order. pool was also nice. a kids pool and a normal ones. love to swim there. so, overall was great. such a nice place to stay. and thank you for the fruits, cake and all decorations in the room. the cake was indeed really nice! goodluck Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto!

« Slow service »

It was almost impossible to get service at the restuarant and also for room service (which at most times was engaged or left unanswered). At times, even after making our order/requests, they had completely forgotten it or chose to ignore us. We’d only get served after repeated requests. The sheets were not changed even though there were obvious coffee marks that I had accidentally spilt. We weren’t left with no toilet paper at some point. There were of course some great individuals that had served us but unfortunately they remained an anomaly.

« i am definitely in love with Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adisucipto »

I've been staying at several Mercure and Grand Mercure Hotel in some city in Indonesia, and this hotel become one of my favorite hotel ever. I had such a great experience there. Been staying at suite room, and they treat me very very very well. My view from the window room every morning : Mt. Merapi. OMG OMG OMG OMG !!!!!!!! That was one million dollar view, you knooooowww.. Also the staffs are very humble, very nice, very helpful, esp. Ms. Kiki who helped me during check in in executive lounge. Even the room service and oh, the securities in parking lot, they were so nice too. Always greet us whenever we're leaving or just arrived and park our car at the parking lot. This hotel service was satisfying. Moreover, what i love the most from this hotel was, THE FOOD. God, they really have the best chefs in town i guess. No failure about the taste and the variety of the menu itself. And the best part was, THEY HAD INDOMIE on their breakfast menu!!! OMG OMG OMG!! And also the Jamu and traditional Indonesian stall never fails!!! I had my dinner on Saturday night with International edition of buffet menu. My tongue was spoiled by the taste. Last but not least. I do in love with the detail of their interior design at the lobby, at the elevator, at the aisle to the room, the gate to the pool, and the tiles in shower room and at the restaurant. So Javanese. So chic. So warm. So homey. I'm beyond satisfied staying there. Definitely will come back whenever i visit Yogyakarta.

This hotel exceed my expectation, even the doorman was really friendly to my 3 years old son. Lots of choices for breakfast and all of them is tasty. I love their hollywood king size bed! I also love their interior decor, very Javanese style (most dominant with Borobudur ornaments). Special thanks to Ms. Meike for making our stay more memorable.

« Worth the 5 stars! »

From the airport, I came way earlier from the usual check in time, around 10.30 AM. But the FO staff still greet me with a smile and immediately processed my check in. Not like other so-called 5 stars hotel in Nusa Dua Bali I used to stay, they insisted me to wait until 15.00-sigh. While waiting, one staff accompanied me to the executive lounge where the staff also greet me as well. She made me tea and snacks while we're having a little nice chat. Surprisingly, around 11, she already gave me my room key. There were 4 lifts and all worked fast, so you don't have to wait for long. I stayed in room 618. The room was big enough, clean and bright with sunshine through a big window and a little balcony with a view straight to the street. The bed was big and comfy, with 4 pillows, 2 bolsters, and 2 cushions. There was a lot of TV channels, FOX, HBO, sports, etc. but I missed Star World and E! channel which were my fave, but that's just a small thing. The wifi worked well. I got 2 welcome drinks and 2 free drinks, though I checked in alone. I took them at the Eighty 8 Bar on the 8th floor after having a short escape to the Gym on the 2th floor. The gym was bright and had enough tools to use at the same time. The staff was also nice, he gave me a towel and a glass of water. Since Jogja was so hot, I was planning to try the swimming pool but apparently everybody was thinking the same, so around 5 PM the pool was so crowded. Around midnight, there was a little accident where the electricity was shut. For a single traveller like me, it was shocking. But I guess the staff quickly handled it so it was happened only few seconds each. The restaurant was big so I didn't have a problem to find a table even on peak hour, 8 AM. The breakfast was brilliant, a lot of delicious food from appetizers to desserts, various main course, fruits and beverages, I didn't know where to start hehe.. One staff wore a name tag Andry Ekaprasetya caught my attention. He was supervised the egg station. Somehow I felt like he's really doing it with all heart, he's smiling big, greeting, asking everyone near about what they like to order, took notes, and immediately processed it. As a frequent traveller who has stayed in a lot of hotels, I personally know how the egg station can be a problem even in 5 stars hotel, a long queue and a lot of dissappointed people, so what he did is quite impressive for me. Empal gepuk was my winning menu for that day. They also prepared Indomie as ala carte, which is fun to have in a 5 stars hotel. The idea worked well, I saw almost every table ordered it a least 1 bowl. The check out process was also smooth. Since my flight was at noon, I was requesting for a late check out and they let me stay until 16.00 then I waited for another hour at the executive lounge again. Overall, I've had a great refreshing experience at Grand Mercure Yogyakarta and I will definitely come back again with my family and friends. Salute to all crews and keep it up! (^v^)/
