« Infinity Swimming Pool with Awesome View »

Its one of the best hotel in Bandung. The swimming pool view is fantastic. The Suite is very well equip with nice elegant surrounding. The toilet is spacious and come with rain shower. Its staff are very professional. I feel very welcome staying with Mercure Bandung City centre. Definitely, will make this hotel my first choice when i visit bandung.

The receptionist was warmly welcome guest. However i'm a bit dissapointed with the room service. Laundry was not given on time i always have to chase for it. Sometimes call no one pick up. Like today after trying to call for 20 mins. Asking for the laundry which i asked 1.5 hours ago, it was still not there.

Easy check in and also check out process. Front office very friendly and good looking. Room clean, comfort and modern. Roof top is best one, with the pool for children separate with adult, I love this one from Mercure. I got a one poor moment when I want to book for massage via WA in the night but Mercure replay in the next morning. But its ok. Overall I love this hotel.

Before I start, let me say it first that I used my Stay Plus benefit to book this reservation. So, I'm not sure whether my staying there has something to do with that or not. Or maybe different hotel has different policies giving treatment to Accor Plus members. When I checked in, there was no welcome drink offered but they did give me 1 welcome drink voucher. Usually in every single Accor hotels I visited so far, they always offer a welcome drink upon your arrival/check in and they will also give 1 welcome drink voucher. Then once you finish your check in process and go to your room, within minutes someone will knock on your door delivery some kinda welcome snacks, things like a plate of fruits or praline and cookies. I didn't get this one either. And on the day I checked out from the hotel, I used that welcome drink voucher and asked for juice. I got a glass of iced, processed (Sunfresh) juice, the one that they usually serve in the banquet during breakfast time. So it's not a fresh juice. And during my 2 day staying there, I passed by many of the hotel's employees but I hardly get any smile nor greetings. I do admit that the lobby is nice, the room is actually a bit bigger than any other Mercure hotels I've visited. But the lack of those little things above, somehow just made it a different experience for me. And it's not "Feel Welcome", Just for comparison, a few weeks before my staying here, I stayed at Mercure Cikini Jakata, also using my Stay Plus benefit, but the whole experience was completely different than my staying here.

The hotel is well located and a fabulous suite room was given to me with a beautiful bathroom and large confortable bed. The panoramic windows were appreciated, unfortunately, to be perfect, the sound isolation should be improved as the road is very noisy at night even on the 7TH floor. The pillows should be replaced by softer version unless your guests necks will be all in pain. On the restaurant side, the dinner buffet was disappointing but the breakfast is very decent for a hotel of this class.

I tried to stay in Mercure Bandung City Centre because first is the location is strategic, easy to go the city centre, then the building itself looks nice can see from fa away the road, and the most i like from the roof top swimming pool. It was amazing. All the staff were great, checkin was quick and get nice room from the receptionist. Breakfast was ok. Well, this hotel just nice.
