Definitely Extremely Dissatisfied 1. Front Gate Security who doesn't know the English meaning word of 'check-in' and insist to not let us come in (eventough we already have CONFIRMED reservation and completely PREPAID for our stay). - He kept saying for several times : the hotel is full, no need to bother to come in to the lobby to do check-in - I was treated like the hotel don't welcome and value me as a customer to stay at the hotel. 2. Outsourcing Parking Attendants who do nothing for almost 15 minutes because they feel the hotel is already full and of course because of lack of parking space, then they do not want to accept anymore hotel guest's car for parking. - When I was talk to one of the parking attendant, with anger I was asking why they don't come to me to give parking ticket and do nothing ? The answer was shocking. I just came to work, I don't see that you are queing for parking (reality : there are 3 guest's car waiting, including me). 3. Skyview Pool & Bar - When we came to claim of our free welcome drink, all of the employees keep their eyes on the television watching the 'World Cup Soccer 2018'. There is no employees standby at the door to greet customers. It seems like : i don't care if there is anymore customer will come, because almost all of the seating and tables are already occupied. - At first, they claim that their pool is warm temperature. Proven not ! The water is cold, and my son is crying out loud because the water is too cold and he don't want to swim anymore. When check-out at noon, I try to ask the woman employee at front desk and they said that the water supposed to be like human body temperature. 4. Breakfast Restaurant on 1st Floor - They served lots of good foods, drinks and desserts. - There is no problem with the savoury and meaty foods, and the drinks. - There problem is with some of the desserts, because they don't turn on the fire burner so the eating enjoyment and taste of some of the desserts is not good because they food is cold. 5. Check-out - The outsourcing parking, don't have any standing staff or desk near the lobby door, so you have to walk to their cashier post (near the road) to claim for your car (to bring your valet parking ticket and all of your luggages by yourself). In conclusion : - I already stayed many times in hotels under the Accor Hotels management, but from my opinion that The Mercure Bandung City Center service and operation is not having the touch or feels like you stayed at one the Accor Hotels group. - At first, I thought I would never ever have staying experience like that if I booked and stayed at branded hotel like the Accor Hotels group, but it definitely proven wrong. - Now I realized that even branded hotel with level of many stars could not appreciate and value their customers too (and even faking about the warm water pool). - Maybe the hotel management don't realize that they can't turn back time. Time, money and memories don't coming back, so they have to give a perfect service for their customers.

Overall a nice hotel at a reasonable price. Room is spacious and decent, breakfast is ok. Staff are friendly but need some inprovement: some bellboys are not so active to help, room service not so responsive. Our request for additional pillow on the 1st night was missed.

the room was ok, a little bit small if I compare with other mercure hotel that I've ever stayed. the room amenities were too simple for 4-stars hotel. Love the breakfast menu. check in process was too slow and the queue for check in was weird, the reception desk was lower from the reception area therefore they put chairs around the desk. at the end people start queueing by sitting on the empty chair. no welcome drink & offers for late check out for silver member. the floor tiles around the swimming pool were slippery enough and caused me slip and fell down.

Not a welcome expected for an accor plus member, cannot see any different with other normal guests. Slow process in receptionist, no welcome drinks. Cannot reach concierge, receptionist and duty manager over a call. Refilled soap and shampo with no labels. Limited parking space. No coordination between restaurant and receptionist when I arranged to settle breakfast payment upfront, got stopped when we tried to go into the restaurant. Expressed our dissapointment and one of staff's reason: haven't gone grand opening, lots of staff are in training. So, not recommended before grand opening, but willing to give another try after grand opening.

My experience for staying in this hotel is quite nice, the service was good, the room is nice, the breakfast is good, but one thing makes me a little bit disappoint is the room cleanliness. My room was too dusty, all the bed is covered with dust, i think it is laundry dust. I called for room services and thankfully the response was quick. They changed the bed sheets with the new one immediately.

Warm welcome by the female reception, politely asking to wait the room to be ready, she is offering me to enjoy the welcome drink in 15th Floor - skywalk. When arrived there, no one there. I am asking whether I can put cash deposit for my other bill if any, she said no need as she will put the remark about the billing method to be paid upon check out. But the fact, seems like breakdown communication somewhere, when I ordered room service, they asked me to go down to the lobby to settle the bill right away. Breakfast on Sunday was really busy, fully understood as the hotel is fully booked. The access to enter and exit the hotel is bit complicated as there is an event is held at the ballroom. But Overall Stay was Cheers up with the hospitality of the front desk. Thank you & keep up the good work.

I feel comfort for everything except when I want to take my welcome drink at 15 floor sjy bar. There us no beer for welcome drink eventhough I'm gold members. But not too long the bar tender allowed me for 2 bottle if beers with my business partners

Overall staffs is nice . The problem is the hotel management and system they make ... check in way too slow , got an upgrade is great , issues is the bed is too hard and i can hear mine next door so clearly which is embarrassing, guess ot work both way . Lounge on top of Mercure was great view and music but hotel management fail to impress the guest or turn in to a more vibrant atmosphere by clever marketing and staff training.

« Perfect short staycation »

Great new hotel. Room cleanliness is well maintained. Loving the room and the overall hotel decorations, especially the swimming pool area. More importantly, strategic location is a great deal to save up time travelling to Bandung’s attraction spots. Only breakfast needs some improvement in terms of menu selection. But overall, loving the entire experience staying at your hotel. Special thanks to Mr. Dedi at the front desk for the excellent service during check in :)

Overall a satisfying experience with qualities expected from Accor group. Few cons: room door sound proofing is poor; shower water temperature fluctuates; staff manning breakfast egg counter should be more conversant in English (cannot differentiate half boiled eggs from sunny side up); no body lotion provided. The pros: reception staff friendly and helpful.
