« A nice lace to stay for short periods »

Ibis Styles Anhembi is a good choice for solo travelers who look for a short stay, close to downtown area of São Paulo. The location is a ugly and loud neighborhood without any touristic appeal, but the hotel is very close to metro and bus terminal, so you easily go to anywhere without much concern. The rooms are silent, could, small but colourful; and the breakfast is good. Those are characteristics of Ibis Styles brand.

Wonderfull attention at reception, however I wait 15 min at the restaurant and I didn't received attention. The room is small but nice, clean and I the topic was interesting.

« Nonsense new Accor Cancellation Policy, Reasonable Hotel, Good Service »

New Accor Cancellation Policy does not make sense at all. The FLEXIBLE RATE allows you to book the Hotel one day before your arrival without a credit card, however it says you may cancel it free of charge until the day before, meaning your reservation may be cancelled 5 minutes after you book the Hotel (if you do it 5min before 1800) in case you do not provide a credit card. Why would you give the customer the option to book the Hotel without credit card if you will cancel it on the same day without even informing the guest about it? The Hotel itself is ok but it does not look well maintained despite recently renovated. The service was really good, friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be much better, coffee was terrible.

My personal experience was "OK". Could be better if the staff during the late night hadn't been so rude, extremely rude I could say. Sunday/Monday somebody just received one of my friends in a not polite manner. Beside that, everything else was ok. My friend didn't get the name, but a woman attended. That's all.

« Good experience overall »

Its an OK hotel, it could offer more but it doesn't offer too little. Rooms can be noisy if the neighbors are not quiet enough, thin walls. Breakfast is simple but effective, bread can be stale sometimes tho. Staff is friendly but can be sometimes very slow, I guess it's just the Brazilian way.

It was all very nice and I was nicely helped by the reception staff in order to make possible my reservation and stay using reward points, which was great. The hotel accommodations are nice, clean and all according to Ibis standards.

« Nice hotel, with joyful people! »

Was really nice! I liked the hotel and the people in it, both customers and employees. We won a free breakfast which was very nice! The only problem I had was in check-out when I was in a hurry and all the employees available were doing check-in. The check-out table was empty cause there were to much people doing check in. But that was in part my fault because I had tickets to go home and I left the hotel too late. But was a nice experience, I would come back for sure!

« No Frills, Clean and Convenient Option for Expo Norte Events »

The hotel is convenient to the international airport (35 minutes late at night) and to Expo Norte (20 minutes during business hours) which was the reason for choosing. There are always taxis available right at the door or just around the corner at the station. The area around the hotel is okay to go get a bottle of water or step into a taxi, but not safe to go around at night. The hotel was clean enough, comfortable enough. The restaurant food is good enough. Nothing exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. The negatives were that my key did not work almost every time I came into the hotel so had to be repeatedly reprogrammed, and the Reception is understaffed and/or undertrained. So expect long waits for check in, check out or reprogramming the key because there is either one person working at the reception, or there are 3 receptionists all looking at the processing of one guest. The hotel has a "Happy Hour" offer but the caipirinhas were not very good - drink mix and no fresh fruit.

Except for the fact that the room walls are too thin and, therefore sometimes it is possible to hear people talking out loud, there is absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel. It decor is great, and the croissants in breakfast were superb.

« What I needed in a not that nice area »

I like the bed and the bathroom. The AC sometimes stopped working. The only thing that I needed that they Didier have was a microwave.

« Check in line, smelling bathroom and poor breakfast »

The overall state of the room was good. Comfortable bed, fresh towels and bedding. What disappointed me was the time spent at check in line, then the quality of my room: the bathroom was smelling bad, probably coming from the drains. I didn’t inform the reception at the time, because it was too late and I was enough tired. I closed the door and it worked. The bathroom lacks illumination. The air conditioner remote control looked mismatched, so it didn’t worked properly as well. The hotel was very busy, so the breakfast buffet was demanded more than it could be served by the staff. I had a good night of sleep but too many stressing situations. I’m a heavy user of AccorHotels, and never felt disappointed this much.
