On arrival. the entrance area was welcoming and the staff friendly and efficient. We had booked a family room, which was a good size with a comfortable super kingsize bed and a sofa bed for the kids. The bathroom was a really good size too. We all like the look of the freestanding bath. The complimentary toiletries were much appreciated. The only negative would be the fact that the room was stiflingly hot and the air conditioning did next to nothing. The breakfast was most enjoyable. The fruit on offer was so fresh and tasty. Everything looked really smart. The staff were very efficient and attentive. The coffee tasted very good too. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

I attended a wedding at the hotel and have got to say that Sacha was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. His attention to detail and management of his team is worthy of note. Service in the restaurant on Friday was poor so I was nervous about my brother’s wedding. As soon as I met Sacha he gave me confidence Of his ability to deliver a great wedding. Thank you! I would have given 10 out of 10 If it hadn’t have been for the service I received on Friday. Sacha deserves employe recogognition for his contribution to this weddin.

« Another great stay at Mercure Parkway »

Brand new mattress really makes a difference to the experience, great night's sleep ( but only after the disco directly underneath room 107 stopped at 2330!) New TV is probably too small for the size of the room. Having been forced to try the St Paul's two weeks ago, this is better. The rooms are larger, the welcome from the Reception team is warmer and the food is better. However, both locks on the window were broken, one is missing completely and although I like a breeze at night, if only there was one, many would be concerned about security in a first-floor room. On the menu side, the food choices for coach groups seems to be better than for the rest of us, how about roast chicken and an interesting pasta dish on the main menu? And particular thanks to Pauline who had to work the dinner and breakfast sessions this weekend due to staff shortages, she works incredibly hard even with groups who seem to completely forget what they ordered for their own dinner! She is a real star at the hotel

Hi stayed for few nights along with others. Breakfast is very very basic and low quality for a nice hotel. Also we never ate in evenings hotel for any of the 4 days due to past experiences of dinner there On a positive staff all v good and clean pleasant hotel

We stayed for our convention at the Sheffield Arena and this is the third year we have stayed at tnis hotel. This year the staff were really helpful and courteous. When a mistake was made they did everything possible to correct it.
