Easy check in. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Only reason it wasnt a 10 was that the aircon was noisy and didn't cool the room very well.

Despite booking some 8 weeks prior, only one of the two rooms were ready on checkin and I'd asked for the two rooms to be together as travelling with elderly parents. Eventually found a room on a different floor which had a very unpleasant smell. That same smell was in the hotel corridor and room entry area the next day too! Disappointing as we stay most years around the same time and never had cause to complain before.

Staff were friendly and generally efficient. Food from the restaurant was fresh and tasty, although they did forget my supper order first time round. Although there is some background noise from local traffic, I had a good night's sleep. I was a bit alarmed when the TV came on unannounced at about 8.00am. I was packing to leave so it didn't disturb me. Perhaps a previous guest had set an alarm call of some sort on it? It was also nice to have a choice of some outdoor seating in the evening which was warm. Value for money was good compared to a city centre hotel.

Good as usual, very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is good, as is the bar. Feedback that could help you improve: - the range of meals seems to have reduced, especially for my wife who has several allergies; the chef used to come out and talk to her and adapt dishes to her allergies, but this didn't happen this time. - it's very hot on the top floors and the air conditioning doesn't actually cool the rooms - every time I've stayed at an Accor hotel I have added a note to my booking and every single time it has been ignored.

The room was fine but cleanliness was poor. Lots of dirt and dust behind the furniture. The TV needed reprogramming and the remote control didn't work properly. The staff at Reception were not particularly welcoming or helpful. The points I used when booking online had not been applied to my bill, so checking out was complicated.

Feels like it's great for professionals and business, but not ideal for families. Great service, parking, location. Okay breakfast, menu, room availability. No major complaints. Suggestions: add Hash Browns to the Full English, use better quality coffee in the rooms.

Room was like a fridge when we arrived so we turned the air con up to the warmest setting and went out for food. On our return the room was still very cold so we kept our jumper & coat on and reported it to reception. Sadly no one came so we just ended up going to bed. Then the following morning whilst getting ready the hairdryer blew up after 30 seconds of being on! The hotel did refund me £20 but all in all was a little eventful.
