Served it's purpose admirably - a clean room, comfortable bed and a breakfast that sets you up for the day. We particularly enjoy the freshly squeezed orange juice.

« Unhealthy, unacceptable »

Our bathroom's ceiling was covered with moisture and the walls were looking very bad too. The smell in the room and in the bathroom were unbearable. We advised the receptionist who offered us a discount! We asked her to look for another hotel and went to Ibis in Lucé. I gladly send you pictures if you want.

« poor »

Bed uncomfortable, room too hot despite turning off heating. Worse nights sleep we have had in a hotel. Breakfast not good either. Speciality breads been left out too long and were rock hard! Not much chose. We were the only ones in the restaurant the place was like “ Marie celest”. Definately wouldn’t stay here again. A very poor ibis.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. I'have well note all your request. Concerning the air conditionned, there is someone 24/24 to help you and fixe all problem you can have. If you told us we can also change the room , but if you don't told us we can not fixe anything. Concerning the restaurant I'm surprised, ou restaurant is closed during the weekend on winter time so, i don't know how you can have dinner in our hotel if i's closed. Parking, comfy beds, clean room and good shower all as expected from this chain, however we were surprised the restaurant was closed- especially on a friday night - staff shortages? Fortunately there are other choices nearby, The Hippo opposite for example was quite busy, so you lost business.

« Could be good but needs improving! »

Lovely and quiet with very comfortable room. Unfortunately there was a large crack in the basin and paint peeling around the basin in the bathroom - that looked very scruffy! The bath towels are far too small - this is one up from Ibis budget so should have larger towels! When we arrived the woman on reception was very friendly and helpful, however in the morning there was another receptionist who was not at all friendly and did not show us through to the restaurant or explain anything about breakfast. There were no other clients so I would expect her to have spent some minutes with us. We DO speak French and have no probelems understanding the language.

« Good value. »

Overall a good value and comfortable stay. Breakfast ok but not the best. Restaurant closed for evening meal but alternatives available nearby. No hot water in room until the following morning part way through shower!

Everything available was an absolute delight. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a Christmas break, other than that everything was absolutely perfect, clean room, nice shower, comfortable bed, satisfactory breakfast, helpful staff. Couldn't ask for anything more.

« Ok for overnight visit, no lift so too many stairs for lots of luggage, plus dog etc. »

Nice room and comfortable bed. However not much space to put items in shower room. Air conditioning unit very noisy and disturbed sleep. Sounded like a waterfall at times. Reported to staff in morning and they said they would check it out, so hopefully ok now. Self service breakfast ok, nice croissants and coffee. Staff ok.

« Just a little tired »

We arrived late Sunday afternoon after a long drive from Spain, only to find that the on-site restaurant was closed on week-ends. This was disappointing, as we had specifically chosen the hotel so that we did not have to go out for food. The room was clean, but the decoration looked as if it had been "done up on the cheap". Bathroom tiles had been painted over, and the paint was peeling. In the morning it took almost ten minutes of running the water to get hot water in the shower.

« Budget stop with an excellent breakfast »

We are regular travelers through France and Chartres is a convenient place to stop. This hotel offers a comfortable stop off with a selection of restaurants on the same estate. The inclusive breakfast was excellent as was the service from the staff. No lift at the property

« Surprised to find we had only booked for one not two people. Think the web booking was not straightforward »

Booking experience was bad so the stay was much more expensive than appeared at booking. Room was fine, meals too, parking was nearby so all good.
