Bed is comfortable and they have shuttle bus to orchard. I stayed 2 nights, but my key card is only avtive for 1 night so I have to reset it to reception

The hotel was very nice, but as expected, but the thing about the weekend was the service we received from the manager Sho and the receptionist. Both made a special effort to get our bags checked at an Acor hotel in downtown Singapore during the grand prix. Spending time calling around until they found the Ibis to take our bags, as we could not locate an in town baggage store. It really saved us during the grand prix weekend. Thanks for all your help we really appreciate it, and it is lovely to have great customer service like that.

I did arrive early (11 am) at the hotel and asked for an early check-in if possible. Totally understandable that it was declined at 11 am. But even at 1 pm, I was surprised to see that they couldn't accommodate. One can sense when its a busy day, and it didnt see like one at all. Anyways, I finally got the room at 1.30 pm and just made it for my telecon at 1.30 pm (which was the reason i wanted the room in the beginning). Rest was fine as i had limited interaction, but i did notice that for the first time, I wasnt offered the arrival beverage card part of Silver membership.

I went on a business trip for 4 weeks and stayed most of the period in the Mercure Hotel on Stevens Road. In fact, at the location there are two Hotels, a Mercure and a Novotel. They have two big pools, one for lap swimming and one infinity pool. Towels are always provided and at the lap pool there is a big gym with very good equipment. A tennis court is also available, which I didn’t use.Also, they have 11 restaurants to choose from. Since I am a Platinum member, they upgraded me to free lounge access and free breakfast in the mornings. At the lounge there was always free drinks and really good food in the evening. I really had a wonderful time staying in this Hotel. And I will rebook it, anytime I must go back to Singapore. I forgot to mention, that the location is very convenient located, only two bus stops away from Orchard road or you can jump on the hotel shuttle bus.A special thanks I want to say to the people working in the lounge, who made sure I felt at home.Especially Mira and John were very helpful and professional in running and serving the guests in the lounge.Best RegardsChris, a very satisfied Accor customer

Stay in Mercure and Novotel stevens on regular basis. Namirah has customized the mini bar according to my preference. The chef at the lounge continue to amaze me with their nicely presented dish. Zaleha, friendly chef from food exchange on egg station prepared the nicest omelette everytime.

A peaceful location of the property. Rooms are very small in size but adequately furnished and provided with travelers requisite amenities. The complimentary shuttle bus is plus factor . However the timing of the last bus from Galleria may be delayed up to 11 pm. A desk or rack is missing for tourist brochures. Many other properties have these for guests use. Hotels of a city like Singapore must have such helpful amenities. Overall satisfied.

Fantastic job. Truly enjoyed my stay with quality staff and great and friendly service. The 2 pools are outstanding, plus the many food options. This is truly an oasis in an exciting city and a posh district. 2 stops away from Orchard Road is a huge plus. Comes highly recommended.

« Newer hotel, small rooms, & bad service! »

I have been to Mercure hotels before, and other Accor hotels. But this hotel I didn’t like because I asked for a queen size bed, and got a 2 twin bed room. Asked for a change, not possible, they offered to send someone to unite the beds... nobody came. Had to call again to to finally get someone come to fix the problem. At check in, I wanted to give my Accor number for points, they said not possible because booking was made through Booking.com, not through them. So, in fact you sell the points, they are not a reward for frequent customers! Not happy, possibly not booking again to your hotels.
