« Always a comfortable stay but checkin and check out are still a nightmare »

Pullman Sydney has online check-in and drop your key check-out. Brisbane desk is slow and inefficient. So while the hotel facilities are top notch and the food great; always sleep well etc etc. - reception is a nightmare. I do not know why it takes SOOOO long to check in and then when we leave at 5am and we stay regularly and we are Platinum members and we just want to hand out keys over and say charge the card you have on file, we would actually like the receptionist not to roll her eyes at us. Did it cause her a few extra seconds of time to look up our account at 5am in the morning? Was is so difficult? I must say it left a bad impression of the hotel.

« nice hotel but expensive »

The rooms are fantastic, staff great however the accessories are way too much. $24.50 for 24 hrs internet access over the smaller free for an hour internet and parking at $40 per night, which is more expensive than in the CBD which has parking demands as an excuse. Having come from other hotel chains where the wifi is free as most modern accommodation does now the wifi charge is excessive for the time period. Like ourselves I assume most people are staying one night overnight before catching their flight the next day, so to get these charges for less than a 12 hour period was disappointing.

Breakfast was excellent, room very spacious, clean and modern and check in and out experience was easy. Was not clear how to get there from the airport terminal, followed signs to hotels and conference centre which turned out to be the right thing to do, but was not clear.

« Excellent stop over before flying home »

We decided to stay at the Brand new Pullman Brisbane Airport so we did not need to rush to the airport for our morning flight back to NZ. We were warmly greeted by Graeme who took our bags for us and gave us directions for returning our Avis rental car, he was great explaining all about the Hotel and organising our pickup the next morning. We checked in with Bethney who was excellent ,the hotel gave me an upgrade to the Theodore suite which was a fantastic suite . Bethney also explained that we could take our rental car back to the Domestic terminal to save a walk from the International, she was great very friendly and informative about what we entitled to being a Platinum member. We were given a plate of nibbles and a couple of wines before dinner which was excellent. Our dinner was the best meal we have had at any Accor restaurant , the main was well presented and cooked perfectly , the desert was the best we have ever had ,it looked like something off the final of Masterchef, so well done to the Chefs. The only disappointment to the evening was our waitress was rude and needs to go a customer relations course, I don't need to give her name as she was the only female on that night. Out suite was awesome , a great bath and a very very comfortable bed, lucky we set the alarm or we would have slept in. Breakfast was good and again the Concierge was excellent ( cant remember his name) he collected our bags and got us onto an earlier shuttle than I had booked which was lucky as the airport on a Saturday morning was chaos . When we travel to Noosa again next October we will definitely stay our last night at the Excellent Pullman Brisbane Airport Well done to all the staff at a beautiful Hotel.

« Back to Aus, back to home base tomorrow. »

We enjoyed our stay with you in Brisbane. We got in late from our overseas flight. A stop over before heading on our regional flight to home the next day. Therefore we did not have the time or inclination to enjoy all yiu had to offer, eg the pool. Our breakfast was very nice thanks, The only thing we didn’t appreciate was the check in officer being a little difficult to understand because of her accent and the fact that we had booked our room two months ahead and she told us we were only booked for one person, not us as a couple. Go figure, that was strange as our booking reference was for two in our king room.?? we will stay with yiu again on our next visit to Brisbane. M

From the friendly staff to the immaculate rooms we really enjoyed our unexpected stay here. Our flight was cancelled last minute so we were a last minute booking but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect!

« Clean, adequate and close to airport. »

Staff friendly and professional. Clean and tidy. Was pleasant, however we would not stay there again. Beds were small, uncomfortable and bouncy. The bathrooms were fancy, but not practical for family. Tempered glass does not give privacy, toilet use heard by everyone, and putting light on woke up every one. The breakfast was over priced for what was offered and there were limited options.

The team from the front desk, to the chefs and concierge were great. Superb actually. We requested for a special meal for our toddler and it was done very well.
