Ok, kitchens we’re having a bad evening waited nearly an hour for a couple of burgers and a club sandwich. Staff dealt with it well and apologised a lot. Room was ok, bathroom drains smelled.

We stay at this hotel regularly and it is always comfortable and well-priced. It has everything we need and is convenient. My only minor gripe is that the breakfast coffee is out of a machine and is almost but not entirely unlike coffee :)

Having stayed fairly regularly I consider this hotel to provide all round value for money particularly since the rate includes the option of a cooked breakfast. My only gripe is they do not provide two large bath towels

I was extremely disappointed to have my name loosely given out to someone to say I was staying there .He dropped off two parcels for me and my husband ..on this occasion no harm was done as it was from a friend but it could have been my ex partner from who I had to flee from a few years ago ...we had to ask for the parcels the next morning when the said friend telephoned us to say have you got the parcels I left at reception for you last night !! we did mention to the girl on reception that this should not have happened ..but she did not seem that bothered to be honest

Decent room but breakfast lacking

Staff helpful, room clean and comfortable. Only issue was that the cost of the room included breakfast but the only hot food was bacon, sausage, beans and scrambled eggs. If you wanted tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms or eggs in any other format, it was all an extra charge of £1 each. It is scandalous to be asked to pay £1 extra for a cooked tomato! Or £1 extra for a few mushrooms! It left a feeling of money-grabbing when we left the hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback regarding your stay. I am sorry you found the breakfast lacking, the brand offer is continental breakfast and we have added a few hot items, as our feedback has led us into adding these for a better offer, however to keep our prices, we are unable to offer all the items and have given the option to add more, I am sorry your felt this was not acceptable. We do multi task in the hotel to help at busy periods in different departments, I am sorry the receptionist was not at the desk during your departure. I will discuss your feedback with the team as all feedback helps us improve Kind Regards Dawne and the Team

The staff couldn’t do enough to help us - my husband uses a wheelchair, and they allowed us to look at the different rooms before checking in. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very good, I was expecting cold food only, and was pleasantly surprised to find hot food too! Good coffee as well. Beds were perfect, great bathrooms, parking - honestly there’s nothing about it I would change! Only reason I haven’t given 10 is because we didnt have a phone in our room and there’s no room service

Very pleasant but short stay. Arrived just after 11pm to a warm welcome. Had a good night's sleep, but room was a tad warm. Wanted to open the window but road noise(it's next to the M1) stopped me doing so. Room was tidy and clean. In the morning we didn't rush as breakfast(included) is served until 11am on Saturdays! Plenty to choose from Inc sausages, eggs, bacon, cereals etc. All in all very good value and would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was poor, no beans, no egg, no bacon, out of stock apparently, 2 towels, for 2 people for 2 days, no change of towels

This time, at Ibis, at breakfast time there was no bacon, no scrambled egg, and no beans when we asked why they said that they were out of stock of beans and waiting for a delivery. Last time we stayed there was no milk for cornflakes, as they had run out. Also this time we had only one bath towel and one hand towel, for two people and they were not changed for the second day's stay. It was rather poor service when you have to share one towel for two days. The breakfast tables could have been cleared away quicker as well, half the tables were still dirty on arrival to the breakfast room.
