We use this as a transit stop regularly and it is fine for that. It’s a good standard hotel with comfortable and modern rooms. Breakfast is included and plentiful but the food quality is distinctly average with rubber like scrambled eggs and machine coffee. Don’t check in online because Accor will preauthorise an unjustifiable and pointless £10 from your card.

We always book in at this hotel it’s very welcoming, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is always good with fresh cooked food and plenty of it . The hotel is near to town centre and access to motorway very near . It is a low budget but very good quality. Highly recommended.

Hi, I have stayed here on many occasions and having a loyalty card I check in on line and request a fast check out each time. To date I have only ever received one invoice for all of the times I have stayed and this makes it difficult for us to reclaim the VAT. Can I please ask that you look into this and sort out whatever it is that prevents this happening. Thanks, Ross.

My wife and I have been staying regularly, if not frequently, at this hotel since the first week it opened as the Ramada and we have always been most satisfied. After having arrived and settled with no parking difficulty we were, as usual, greeted in a very warm and professional manner and attended very quickly by the reception clerk. Our room was exactly as we have become accustomed to although we have never had a room beside the motorway before and I will ask very politely to be spared that 'honour' in the future! We were both disappointed that you no longer provide hand towels - surely a very small saving is made by this. Overall, as previously stated, a very clean and friendly hotel offering very good value for money. We were both very sorry to learn that Ben, I believe one of the duty managers, will be leaving you shortly for pastures new. I wish him well in his new venture and am certain that he will be greatly missed by other regular guests, staff and senior management alike.

Staff was rude when got the card for the room bedroom was okay but pillows was hard and only one per person the bed was hard as well. Next morning for breakfast was okay once again staff was rude one of us was coeliac staff pointed what one of us could have and walked straight off. I wouldn’t be stopping here again or recommend it to anybody else

Breakfast excellent, room very comfortable , public transport close by (no need to take hire car all the time. Close proximity to family whom we were visiting. JUST 1 not too good , you ran out of clean towels , when arriving back from our outing we had no towels and my husband had to chase up reception , we got 1 and had to wait some hours for a second. But all in all was fine.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The TV was very small. The toilet didn't flush properly. No AC in the room and even with the window open the room was very hot. Also, after opening the window the noise from the motorway could be heard in the room. Not using this hotel again as you will not make any significant changes.
