The hotel was organised and tidy, the room was clean and well stocked with teas, coffee etc. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good quality for the money. However, in my opinion the bar and restaurant was a bit over priced.

all good thanks, room clean enough, food and drink was pricy and not such great value for re-heated food from the freezer. havnig said that - it was easier than going out when tired

Very good new-ish hotel in business district. Meant the area was extremely quiet as it was a Friday night. Problem with TV in the room was swiftly dealt with. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant to deal with. A very good selection at breakfast completed our stay.

As always, very comfortable beds. The stay was perfect for our family, travelling to a sporting event. We need to bring a bike in for security which is allowed. The breakfast suits us all. THe desk person was very helpful when we discovered in spite of it saying on your site AND i was told on phone you had air conditioning you did not, WE were able to get a refund so thank you. But it was annoying as we spent time waiting for a room whuch was then not suitable as I have a health problem that needs air conditioing.

The first night was great, clean, comfortable and quiet room. However second night there was a wedding in the lounge and it’s was very noisy, even on the fourth floor the noise was loud. I understand weddings are loud but there needs to be a way of shutting the noise off from the other guests or warning quests when they book. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very pleasant.

We knew it was a basic hotel but it was clean. There were no hand towels provided. We asked for a fan on the third night and was provided with one. Breakfast was good although there was no fresh fruit salad on 2 days due to delivery issues. Staff very pleasant and helpful especially receptionists and restaurant staff. Car parking good. Quiet at night despite it being full.

We stayed for one night only and thank goodness it was only a night. The hotel was dated and the room shabby, un-cared for and unclean. For example there was a thick layer of dirt around the switch on lamp and a small hole in one of the walls. The shower could not maintain a constant temperature and the soap dispenser next to the sink leaked soap constantly. There was plenty of choice for breakfast however the food was cheap and tasteless. We Also had to ask for extra toilet roll as our room only had one roll 1/4 full. We were each given one flat pillow so we went to ask at reception for a second pillow. The receptionist was sat on the reception desk watching videos on his phone. When we asked if we could have a second pillow he said no, there were none left in the hotel. This was a blatant lie as the hotel was not full it is also incredibly rude if the hotel only provide one they should expect people for as for an extra pillow. The hotel was more reasonably priced than others in the area however this is no excuse for such a poor customer experience. We were not expecting 5 star luxury but you do expect the basics.

One improvement but some new shortfalls

Room 1. Business - 13/08/2019 AccorHotels review

Reception now shows the specials which is better as people actually know that specials are on that current night. On another note during the hot weather the hotel didnt have any ice buckets for rooms to keep drinks cool. Ordered food one night and paid the room charge over £2.00 per time and when the food was delivered there were a few sauce sachets on the tray rather then the bowl for full selection. Depending on the cleaner that cleans the rooms you might have a bottle of spring water in your room it would be nice to have this constantly rather then having to fill the kettle from the bathroom tap. The Reception also advised me they had stopped supplying water to the rooms which obviously isnt the case. The pool table in the bar area is shocking at approx £1.00 per game the table is not level and not really worth playing on, the room showers have no set temperature scolding you one moment then freezing you the next, the toilets some flush properly some dont and some of the sinks drain free and some dont. Whilst the issues above are not major and the stay in general isnt bad when staying away from home and paying for services I expect to be as comfortable as possible. If the issues above could be addressed it would make the Ibis experience allot better, at present I cannot recommend anyone to use the Ibis hotel and may look at other hotels in the area.

The hotel is located within walking distance (10-15 minute walk) of Crewe station and so is handy if you are arriving by train. The room was very comfortable and clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good. The only small problem I experienced was the remote control for the TV didn't work.
