Great location with easy access to both terminals. Domestic terminal I see was within walking distance. International terminal is a short bus ride. The hotel was quiet.

The hotel is handy to the airport I walked to it. Took a shuttles back. Breakfast - the continental breakfast was exorbitantly priced, almost double the cooked breakfast. The service was fine.

Great room and facilities but the staff were fantastic. I had a broken arm so they assisted me in taking my bag to my room and putting it on the counter. Then again the next morning they came to collect me and my bag and made sure I got on the shuttle bus ok. My only negative was that you had no room service however you did have a restaurant on the premises and the people were also more than helpful by taking my dinner to my room and provided a carry bag for my breakfast. I was really appreciative of the help provided by the staff.

We have stayed at the Ibis Brisbane Airport several times, and it is our choice of accommodation when travelling. Rooms are fine for an overnight stay, clean and well designed, with fabulous black out curtains and no airport noise. Sadly though, the restaurant is fading and I have commented on this in a previous review. This time, we arrived too late for dinner (nothing is available after 10pm), but decided on a quick breakfast before catching our train home. For breakfast, we were pleased that the options in the display cabinet could be purchased and eaten in the restaurant. We had a sausage and egg muffin ( or maybe it was a sandwich, I can't remember), and a quiche. Both were not heated up properly and were stone cold in the middle. I was going to mention this to the staff, but they were busy when we left so we didn't. Something is very wrong when such a simple process is not done properly. Now to the credit card fee. As a member, I booked through the Accor website which says that all credit cards incur a 1.3% fee. But Ibis Brisbane Airport has a sign up saying that Amex is 2.2%, though I didn't notice it at the time. Nothing was said at the time of check in, and I was charged the higher rate. On departure, I raised this with Matthew and showed him my booking. He undertook to refund the difference, and the refund has come through. It's not a lot, but there is a principle at stake here. And $3.94 per person, and let's say 25 people per day means nearly $36,000 a year for Ibis and they think it's worth doing. But consumers are entitled to what they have been promised on booking, and this should not be happening. No amount of signage overrides our entitlements as consumers. Looking back, I can see that I have been overcharged on at least one, if not more, stays. Ethically, Ibis should be refunding everyone who has been overcharged without them having to request it. Quite frankly, I think this higher charge practice should be stopped until the Accor website is updated to clearly show the change. I note that the higher fee has not been charged on a recent Mercure stay that was paid by Amex. However, if it is continued, then normal practice everywhere else is that someone choosing a higher fee card would be informed of this by the customer service person, which then gives a choice of using the lower fee card. This is just plain good customer service, but sadly Ibis has chosen not to do this.

No room service, Mini bar fridge empty. $2 for a toothbrush and cost per night isn’t that much cheaper than a hotel that does provide the above.
