The hotel is great in many respects: the room is spacious compared to others in the Accord Chain. Bath room with separate shower, sink, toilet cubicle is very good, especially when you have 3 guests sharing the same room as in our group (me, my sister and my niece). Requested for an extra roll out bed was accommodated 100%. Many amenities for all essential needs. The view from the room is fabulous. The breakfast is sumptuous with a wide variety of choice. The location did not bother us because there is a public bus stop just 3 minutes walk from the hotel (at entrance turn right) plus the hotel shuttle bus to take you to the T Galleria at Orchard Rd shopping area. However, there is a few things that we feel should be improved: on one of the occasion when we came down for breakfast (04/10/19) we were NOT greeted by the person in charge of the station, he seemed do not like to serve women, only pay attention to the gentleman behind us. We were delegated to a junior waiter (can only guess because no one talked directly to us), and destined to a small area away from view. I had sat at this area the day before as I was alone at the time. This area obviously was set up with solo traveler in mind. On that day, the three of us was directed to sit on a table setting for 2, the junior waiter even told me to get a chair but I was utterly astounded and did not react. He thought that I could not speak or understand English so he went and got another chair for this table, this 3rd chair was right in front of the coffee machine station. People needs access to the coffee machine will find me annoying and/or obstructing. I then spoke my mind (near 30 years and a PhD in Australia for goodness sake) and asked to be seated in the main area, at which he gladly obliged. The junior waiter was not to blame, it is the WHOEVER at the greeting station, he certainly had a problem with me or our group, on the last day I could see that he was watching as I was moving about getting food for my breakfast (it was not pleasant feeling you are being watched, I tell you). As I left I looked at him with the intention to say Hello and shown my good will but he looked away, still could not bring himself to talk to such "lowly" person. Well, this is what called prejudice in Australia. I felt that several staffs must have come from a less developed and democratic countries (there is other incidents too, you can get in touch if you want to know more). These seemed tense, rigid and provided inconsistent customer services. For an international brand please train your staff more about this. I am an AirBnB host myself and know what I am talking about. Treating all your customers with the same courtesy and dignity until they behaved otherwise. In conclusion, I enjoyed all the goodness your hotel got to offer and all other pleasant and helpful staffs (these tend to be Singaporean). So, it is a 9 stars out of 10.

When i arrived at the receptionist, the staff said i was selected as “ The Guest of The Day” and lead me to the Premier Lounge for check in and I was given access to the Premier Lounge during my stay. The staff are all very friendly with warm welcome. The room is nice and clean. Overall, my experience was very good at Novotel and would like to stay here again during my next trip to Singapore.

Upon check-in, I was greeted by the loyalty manager (Sho, can't quite remember his name). I was given access to the exclusive lounge access despite not having booked a room with such an access. I was escorted to L10 for my personalized check-in; it was all very satisfying. The room was great with a great view. Overall, I'm very impressed with the service. Thank you. I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful room. Nice view of pool. Breakfast was OK. We had a "mini bar" which was stocked with one Coke, one Sprite, one beer and one apple juice. Not what I would call a "mini bar".

We had a nice room with a good view and the room was serviced well by your staff. The meal venues offered good variety and different experiences for dining at reasonable prices. The complex was appealing and the décor was quite fashionable. The shuttle bus service was excellent and made our holiday experience efficient and well provided for. The staff were friendly and happy to help.

When we arrived at the hotel, having not slept on the plane from Europe, there was no warmth nor smile from the front reception. No one offered to take our bags. We were firmly told that a room would be available at 2pm [check in time] and she did not offer to call us if a room was ready earlier. When we arrived back to the hotel at 2:30pm, the male receptionist advised that 'Unfortunately, your room not ready, it is clean but we have to verify first'. What on earth?? When I asked to confirm that they 'verify' that a rollaway would be set up, he informed me that 'Unfortunately there is no rollaway bed'. This was incredibly frustrating as we had booked the room on the proviso that there would be a bed for my child. There was no apology whatsoever, at no time did he utter the word sorry. He said that he will upgrade us to a larger room. When we eventually arrived to our room at 2:45pm, we noted that there was a small sofa in the room which is what my daughter was forced to sleep on. We waited yet another 15 minutes [after having to call to find out how far away our luggage would be] before the bags arrived up to the room, by this stage we had not slept for over 36 hours. It is very disappointing that no one pro-actively thought to make our check in experience more positive. I have since shared my experience with countless friends, we travel a great deal and it has been by far the poorest experience we have had in a hotel for a long time. Shame on your very apathetic front of house staff. The quality of the room was great however and we had all the amenities we required.

Always stay here when in Singapore as it offers everything I need at good value. My only issue this trip was that two service trolleys were permanently parked at either end of the hallway 24/7 on the 8th floor. Can understand when servicing rooms but no rooms were being serviced 24/7. While it did not create a problem it was not a nice look & gave a feeling of having unfinished things laying around. The trolleys could at least be moved from the hallway when not in use to make the hallways look clean & tidy. Small thing but it is customer perspective.
