« Not as good as Auckland but still tidy »

Needs a pool & steam room. Disappointed it didn’t have that like in Auckland. Room tidy, bar smallish but modern. Spacious room. Comfy bed, great tv, 1.5km walk from domestic and 700m from Mascot train station.

« Spoilt by neglectful bar staff! »

Check in was perfect. Arrived late after long trip and dramas. All we wanted was a drink and a meal. Our 3 drink order was taken, 3 drink vouchers handed to Bar man, but only 2 drinks arrived. After considerable time, another waiter came and after explanation, went away to find the missing wine. Only to return to say the Bar man thought only 2 vouchers were given.... BUT HE HAD TAKEN AN ORDER OF 3 DRINKS!!! By this time my daughter (the Accor member) was getting really angry. The lovely 2nd waiter finally sorted it out apologizing profusely. But this should not have happened in the first place Another observation, Restaurant chairs very impractical

overall was nice. however i didn’t receive the room upgrade upon available which was confirm by Lauren via email (as accor gold status for Ibis business account holder). But upon check in, i was not communicated by the receptionist whether room upgrade was not available or she wasn not aware of the request. The bar tender felt he needed to confirm with me twice that the drink voucher only covers two drinks and I would need to pay for the third one. I understood the extra drinks need to be paid for perfectly and i think it’s tasteless to stress that to the customers. Shower had some sort of drainage issue in room 815, water drains away only very slowly. Other then that, location was ok, renovation was nicely done.

« Fabulous, third time I've stayed with the Pullman and expectations still exceeded. »

Staff are attentive and helpful. Pleasant to deal with and efficient. The hotel itself is beautiful. My third stay at the Pullman and won't be the last. My 7 year old son and I were pleasantly upgraded to a suite with a bath. The fact he could watch TV whilst in the bath made his night! Thank you! We'll be back.

« A new business hotel but far from satisfactory.... »

As a guest..... I was given a welcome pack which was meant to be prepared for another Accor Plus customer to start with. Soon as I had entered my room, I found there was no water (either be plastic bottles or my complimentary bottles), no dental set and failed air conditioning (it was efficiently dealt with by the onsite mechanic but spent 45 mins to get the air filter replaced). In the subsequent days / nights, the painful experience was to keep calling the service line or house keeping for the plastic bottle waters and the missing in-room amenities including shower gel and shampoo etc.. The hourse keeping barely tidied up our room as I found it and none of the amenities were replaced daily. I had to ask for them to be filled everyday! The dental set was only given once and I ran out of tooth paste on the second night...... The front desk...... I called the service line on the second night of my stay as I had found no bottle water in my room again. An Australian lady staff at the front desk picked up the call and responded to my request by saying complimentary water can only be given once per check-in. I politely told her that all I need was just some free bottles of water which I used to get daily of my stay in any other Accor hotels like Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure...... I even asked her if I needed to check out and check in again in order to get more water! This lady staff responded to me bluntly by saying "alright then, I will give you one more for this time only but that's the rule and you have to buy our bottled water at the mini bar!" 20 mins later, the house keeping delivered me ONE small bottle of water for a room with 2 guests! What kind of attitude was that please from a 4 star hotel like Pullman? It not until the third day that I approached the front desk in person and asked for reason why bottle water are not free in this hotel, the man frankly informed me that the plastic bottled water can be given free to their guests but not the complimentary waters! To me, they are not different as all I had been asking for was just some bottled waters. On the 7th day at the check out, I was given the full invoice by the Australian lady staff and asked me to check. I had to check each day's expenses and room charges carefully as I stayed there for 7 days. This lady staff was so impatient and impolite and kept asking me if everything were alright for 3 times in the 3 minutes I stood there checking my bill! My wife also asked what's the hurry and why did she keep pushing me to sign on the invoice!!!! The restaurant....... I had breakfast at the Lobby restaurant 7 days in a roll and its breakfast selections were largely the same everyday. I had two dinners at this restaurant too and I must say the food quality was reasonably good, a well done to the chefs! Unfortunately this restaurant is consistantly short handed especially the kitchen hands! We had to wait for more than one hour for our main course to arrive and none of the servicing staff or the manager did offer us an apology for keeping us waiting! My feeling was that it looks more like a family run business rather the restaurant in a 4 star hotel! Overall...... My question to the management of Pullman Sydney Airport is, why making my 7-day stay in this hotel so irritating? I am a loyal member of the Accor Hotel Plus but the Pullman Sydney Airport experience really turns me off. I wonder if this is the norm of the Pullman hotel chain or just the Sydney Airport.

« Friendly and responsive staff, great stay! »

We arrived early in the morning, were exhausted and desperate for our rooms. Staff Rebecca was very helpful and understanding. She did all she could to give us rooms within 30 minutes. Please convey our thanks to her! Breakfast was lovely with fresh and healthy choices. Though not many hot dishes, they were quality food.

Very comfortable stay. When I arrived my air-conditioner wasn't working but staff were very quick to rectify the issue and helped me move to another room. Room service was was delicious and fast. Front office staff very attentive and friendly. Overall it was a great stay.

The room and bedding was wonderfully decorated and comfortable. Unfortunately the air-conditioning wouldn't go to cooling and stayed on heat 25 degrees which was too warm. Cassy at front of house was efficient, friendly and proficient, she did an awesome job!

The rooms were beautiful but not very spacious. There was not much variety with the buffet breakfast. Grt proper bacon not the American kind :)
