The Pullman Hotel is well located only a few minutes by car / bus from Sydney Airport. The Hotel is close enough to walk to / from the terminals if preferred. Room sizes are more than adequate and fixtures and fittings good quality. Beds are particularly comfortable. There is zero aircraft or traffic noise.In-house restaurant is a cut above average and a fine place to eat. Service is willing and efficient.

The rooms were excellent. The choices for breakfast could have been better. There were very few vegetarian options. There was a huge mobile tower right in front of my room which is a health hazard. The tower was just off the street. Guests could have been asked for a choice if they mind staying opposite that. If I had known that before, I would not have wanted the room I was offered. The best would be to ask authorities to move the mobile tower.

« Stayed numerous times prior to going overseas - Paid $44 for a meal to receive Food poisoning! »

I've return from overseas yesterday to your email request to review my stay at Pullman Sydney Airport on 30th August. We always are happy to stay a Pullman before we go overseas especially on an early departure flights. Our daughter drove us into the hotel and as a thank we invited her and her partner to have dinner in your restaurant. Our daughters ordered only a main meal of the Duck. When it arrived it was so small with 4 of the smallest pieces I have ever seen (small cubes shape size). We thought it must have been an entre size! On tasting the meal our daughter remarked it tasted strange. Consequently asked us to taste it. I and her partner had a small taste and it did taste "Funkie"... strange! While my husband had a larger amount of sampling because he couldn't work out the flavour. We all remarked it was weird tasting and it must have been the black turtle beans used in the dish to make it taste unusual . On receiving our bill we were shocked to see the price of the meal being $44 for a very, very small dish. We voiced our concerns with the waitress as we thought there must have been a error on our bill. After checking she returned stating there was no error. I ask to speak to the manager on duty. The manager arrived to our table on explaining our concerns he's response was this is the price of duck and that's the way it is because duck is expensive! I remarked to him this is an unacceptable response and stated that I was a "Gold" member of Accor and I was displeased. The manager remarked, after requesting my card, I wasn't a high enough, maybe Platinum member of Accor or another type reward member which would warrant a discount off our meal. We found this disturbing it say the least. We felt he wasn't really listening to our concerns of value for money verses quantity and quality. Plus we remarked on the strange taste of the meal. We asked him to find out what it was from the chef. On his return he stated the chef had left for the night and no-one knows what the taste of the meal was meant to be able to answer our questions. After which he offered us a glass of wine to make up for our obvious dissatisfaction, in which my husband & I accepted gratefully and as our daughter was driving she and her partner did not partake. We felt it was the only resolution we were to receive that night on this matter and thanked him. The morning after on waking my husband had stomach cramps before leaving for the airport in which he couldn't understand. Though explanation was on hand when receiving a text message from our daughter early that morning to say she was violently ill with diarrhea and vomiting all night and it was unstoppable. As no-one had eaten anything between 8.30 pm and the next day it was obviously food poisoning. In conclusion, this experience has made me think twice about staying and more importantly not to have any meals in your restaurant. Firstly due to the quality received compared to value for money. We did remark the prices had increase since our last visit. Secondly the inadequately trained staff especially the manager on duty on his personal ability to deal with "guest conflict resolution and dissatisfaction". This has left a bitter taste in my mouth and severe suffering by my daughter by this experience. Not to mention she was off work for several days to recover back to any normality after this episode. I know food poison cannot be proved and I'm not here for vilification. It's my faith in Pullman that has been rattled severely to the point of reconsidering other accommodation options for any future trips overseas.

The restaurant and room made for a very comfortable stay prior to starting a long trip. The car parking was very simple and reasonably priced. The service in the restaurant, particularly Abhijet was very much appreciated. Love staying at the Pullman Sydney Airport.

Great location, friendly staff, food and facilities lovely......disappointed that you did not get my title correct on the tv in my room Mrs...not Mr.....after a 7am start to the day only to return for a short break and refresh at 5pm for dinner and back to conference I found my room had not been made up...

My husband and I stayed for one night prior to flying out. We had a lovely room and our dinner was delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel. The only downside was some incorrect information I received from a staff member at the hotel when I enquired on how to get to the hotel. I rang days before twice and was told it was only a five minute walk from the railway station! WRONG!!! It took us 20 minutes with luggage. Even if we only had a small suitcase it would still have taken that amount of time. I did speak to the lady that checked us in and she was very apologetic.

Had a 2 night stay at Pullman Mascot. Staff mostly friendly and the place generally clean. Opted for room clean after the first night and the clean seemed rushed. Purchased the tomahawk and lamb rack from Mobius downstairs and I would definitely not do it again or for that matter recommend it. Very low grade meat or cooking - I don’t know??? Was hard to vent our frustrations as the staff were wonderful and didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. Other than the food and rushed clean, everything else was great. Friendly and inviting staff all round and would definitely stay again.

We loved your hotel, online checkin, room, staff and dinner. However our French champagne ordered online for the room never arrived and even though we advised reception, and the dining room staff advised reception we still had a fight at checkout to have it removed from our bill. Also our dinner ordered and pre paid for online with our reservation was not forwarded to your restaurant who had to then check again with reception that we had prepaid. One of your staff at checkout didn't know about this prepaid option. In the restaurant we had to wait a long time to be noticed and seated and most diners also had this experience too. You don't mind waiting if somene, anyone, acknowledges you are there!
