The person on reception was very welcoming, room large and comfortable. Breakfast was ready at 6.30 as stated, which was important as we had an early start (would've been better if could have started at 6.00).

« Woeful William.. »

Our stay here was affected by the minute we met William, the receptionist. While I am sure his job is challenging, he is lacking in the fundamental area of his job: customer service. I am not sure if this is a glitch in the system, however, my confirmation email claimed that I had paid the majority of the cost of my stay prior to arriving. I am open to the possibility that there was a mistake in the email or that I had misunderstood in some way, however, William was not remotely interested in me suggesting that I had already paid. Instead, he repeated bluntly 'it is not paid' while I asked him to wait while I checked that the money had not left my account. Apparently trying to clear up the confusion and prevent a potential refund further down the line was not ok with William. As I indeed hadn't paid, I willingly paid for my stay albeit being resolved poorly. On to the room, we arrived in it to find that it hadn't been cleaned. While this wasn't ideal, it happens from time to time. The issue arose when we informed William, who suggested we just wait around while it was cleaned and that it wasn't an issue. Perhaps my lack of hotel operations holds me back but, a simple room switch would have sufficed to assume that they had actually cleaned rooms that day. Overall, William was extremely rude and only got worse in our attempt to clarify details. I would suggest swapping shifts with the nightshift receptionist who was lovely and represented the hotel perfectly.

« I felt disappointed and cheated. I paid for a good service but I received less. »

I did the reservation at the Accor website, I choose a DOUBLE ROOM. When I tried to do my check-in, in the hotel, the employee was discussing with me that I did a SINGLE ROOM reservation, because for her was appearing a reservation for 1 person. In my document, my confirmation of reservation was written Double room (I showed her), but she just said "No you are wrong, your reservation has a problem and we don't have a double room. You are going to a single room or you can cancel and search another hotel. Call Accor and solve by your self." So, my husband demanded her to solve the problem, because we did the reservation, as we had a document. And suddenly, she got a room for me. Even so, she put me in an inferior room. (But at least I had a room). Another point was: she was saying that they didn't have rooms available, but in a TV, behind her, was appearing "available double room". The conclusion is: I paid for a double room (71 euro) and I enjoyed a Single room (66 euro). At least the breakfast was good and the receptionist after 12 pm was very gentle.

« Not the normal ibis standard »

The hotel was below normal ACCOR ibis standards. The rooms were very very small very dated and tired. There was no wifi in the rooms not even a weak signal. I am a silver member and was not offered a welcome drink voucher was given Some fruit in the room. Breakfast was ok fairly limited choice and was not fully set up for 0730 when opened at 0700. was worse than a ibis budget.

Very competitive fare but hotel of 1 star in service , clealniness and functionality of room and bathroom, breakfast on filthy tables and messy. OK for a short cheap fare stay but thats about it.

« DEFINITELY NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL. »

I was charged upon my arrival although I had a flexible rate booking. I was not even asked before the charge and they used a card I did not intend to use, the one I gave just to confirm my reservation. Very poor breakfast in a depressing room with bad lighting. They promise a renovated hotel, but this is just a partly refurbished hotel with old and dirty rooms in an old building. Very close to metro station, but far away from the city center. Friendly and kind stuff. Overall, I would not recommend,it is not what you expect from the Ibis brand.

« Good if want to be near of the Transport Network »

(-)NEGATIVE: The room was a little bit noisy due the proximity to the road and Metro Line. During the Check-In the IBIS employee requested me the city tax for my son which had 15 Years old. Based on the local authorities in Milan (Lombardia) someone below 18 do not need to pay such tax. During the check-out the situation was corrected based on my claim, I sign afterwards a document stating that my son has 15 years old only. Question here is why they scan the passports with all information during the check in? Also you need to pay in cash such tax. Please be aware with city tax in this Hotel if you have child's with you! The reason for charging this rate my son was not convincing because the Accor website only said 10 EUR not 15 EUR. (+)POSITIVE: The Hotel is just 3 minutes from the Green Metro Line, you can easy access any location in Milan. They provided me with a network map. The Web Site from Accor was perfect as usual during the reservation process.

Terrible derelict hotel advertised as 4 star property - with disgusting mouldy and broken shower, lacking basic amenities such as iron and when requested reception said they don't have one to provide.

« Room is spacious with good breakfast »

Room is large and comfortable, though a bit noisy at night due to metro train. Breakfast is fantastic, with lots of choices. We booked through Accor website, the hotel didn't have record though we can a confirmation email. Later we found out the the credit card was not debited, as opposed with the Accor system has said. Finally we went through the checkin with a bit of time. This is not the fault of the hotel, but the Accor websites

There is not enough double beds and the twin beds are not even high , air condition is making noisy, breakfast is table too small to put the food, the wall does not protect the noisy from next room, the lobby and isle have no air condition, welcoming drink has no juice... the beth room is better than before.
