Overall was a pleasant stay and location is superb.. However, realized that breaking is not included if we want to book through travel agent and novotel's website is down and don't allow us to make booking, this is a bit troublesome as we need to purchase breakfast separately upon check in. Suggest to include breakfast even though the booking is made through travel agent to reduce hassle.

I accidently left my ironing behind at the hotel and have tried many times communicated with related hotel's personnel and came back to the hotel two times on the following of my check out day with no success. The housekeeping officer explaining that actually the item was found in one of two rooms we stayed. The item was given to the "office" and deployed/borrowed to other room but the strange it was, they did not know what was the room number. I have got confirmed that the hotel could not found my item and finally the hotel bought the new one, thank you. To me, this was not someting about my ironing lost to be found or re-buy, but I do understand that Novotel has a reliable "lost and found" procedure to be implemented. The hotel should have contacted or called customer when anything happening after the check out time including this "lost and found" incident or issues, as the customers provide the hotel with all necessary information including cellphone number and ID card to be contacted.

i enjoyed the stay, and have been staying at Novotel Pekanbaru every time i'm in town, since its soft opening. the Hotel is great, the staff courteous and the rooms pleasant. there is however a marked difference in the level of cleanliness over time, it used to be excellent, but now the sheets and the towels do not appear as clean.

very nice stay at the hotel, all the staff are very friendly. the only thing annoyed me is the car park registration always have problem. when i am going out from hotel, the parking staff said my car did not registered even i am always registered the car plate number when check in. this matter happen almost when i stay at novotel

Warm welcome in reception, comfy room but bed a bit hard, nice modern bathroom and toilet with strong bursts of water shower but not suitable when you have colleague as roommate (no lock toilet door), very good food, nice swimming pool and spacious parking area and the mall is just one step aside

Hotel staff not fluent in English . Do not know what is bath towel Room table dusty No hair conditioner or moisturizer in room When I check out on 28 June 615am, front desk staff forgot return credit card to me!!! Fortunately my customer is smart to ask hotel to send my card to the airport!!!

Regarding your comment about the conditioner, our hotel did not provide in guest room but you can ask to room services for the conditioner and its free of charge. Novotel Pekanbaru is definately the best hotel in Pekanbaru. Having stayed in many hotels in Pekanbaru, Novotel is the my selection. Hotel is new, room well maintained, breakfast is very good, have enough selection for dinner options and prices are reasonable. The gym is modern and the pool is in good conditions. The lobby is large and spacious and comfort even for long time waiting. Located next to shopping mall and movie theather. I would have given full points if there weren't an human error mistakes that was unfortunate event for me. I hope that will be a lesson to learned for improvements. I checked in at 12:15, but received the room only at 14:30. At 13:00 I asked is my room ready and the receptionist told that it is still not yet ready and she will look for me when it is ready. After waiting long time I had to go to ask again, at 14:30 she told she was sorry for totally forgetting me. I understand that there are a lot of customers, but once you make a promise, you should remember your customer, not having him to remind of his existences. I was excited to start my weekend, but waiting 2,5 hours in the lobby wasn't that great experiences. Of course I didn't expect to get a room earlier, but exceeding guaranteed checkin time 14:00 and leaving customer to spend total 2,5 hours in the lobby waiting to get the room, is just not acceptable. Without this incident, everything else was very good, and generally I am still satisfied with your hotel, I just hope that same forgetness will never happen again. It's a human error, and not systematic, so I forgive this mistake and will definately stay next time in your hotel again.
