« Satisfied but barely »

Just stayed during the weekend. Saturday till Tuesday. Even you could easily be rated 8-9, then the breakfast experience was terrible during the first two days. We have never, on any hotels we ever stayed, experienced such lack of breakfast. Everything was almost empty all the time. Impossible to get anything else that a regular toasted bread with jelly. No cheese or ham, and not even glasses for milk/juice. Tuesday morning when we left, breakfast was "normal" and quite good. The great feeling of a new hotel and the friendly staff at the reception makes our rating a 6, otherwise it would be lower. Kind Regards René.

« Great new hotel »

Great new small hotel - nice quick check in procedure. Comfortable, clean, modern rooms, fast wifi and lots of plugs. Great bathroom, though shower controls at opposite end to showerhead. Film studios theme to decor of rooms

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Ealing London, room nice and cosy, bed very comfortable. Staff and service very good, very exemplary. My only complaint is that there was not enough choices on the menu , very basic.

« Excellent! »

The hotel is new, modern and in great condition. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. The staff are attentive, helpful, flexible and full of knowledge. The breakfast is well considered and is a great element of the stay. The treatment of Accor Club Members is very good, the welcome gift(s) are among the best I have seen in the Ibis Hotels Group. The manager is visible, helpful and is a customer service champion.

« Great new hotel »

Very stylish and cool hotel, welcoming and friendly staff. Family room with double bed and sofa bed was big enough for the four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and quiet even though overlooking the road. Breakfast was nice too! I'll definitely stay here again.

« A lovely, stylish hotel »

The Ibis Styles hotel is a delight. It is new, clean, stylish and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the showers are excellent. The staff were a highlight of our stay as they are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The included breakfasts are delicious, fresh, light and varied.

Friendly welcome from staff and a very comfortable stay in a stylish, but relaxed atmopshere. Great buffer breakfast.

« Amazing location, services and staff »

Had a fantastic night's sleep and a fab breakfast in the morning. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was quiet and had everything that I needed.

« Average »

Check in was fine, very friendly. The room was ok although very dark even with all the lights on. Tea and coffee supplies - but only one teabag? Not very generous. Surprisingly there were no drinking glasses anywhere to be found. I had to use my empty juice bottle to drink water from. Breakfast was good. Checkout was easy. Bit worrying, being told that I would be issued with a final electronic invoice AFTER I'd paid in full when checking in. What extra hidden charges might be made? I'm still waiting to find out, as my invoice hasn't been received yet ....

« Lively New Ibis Hotel »

Excellent friendly, helpful staff. Lively, informal atmosphere in the hotel which I liked.Bedroom excellent, comfortable and quiet.Downstairs a bit cramped but just about cped with the number of guests.Breakfast limited choice, no variety between days and no hot food. Poor compared with other Ibis hotels I have stayed in.

« Modern movie themed convenient hotel »

We (family of four) booked a family room in the Ibis Styles at the last moment and were very pleased with our choice. The reception staff was admirably swift and courteous with our check in (check in on a phone/tablet) with clear instructions re: breakfast and check out. The room was neat and we were given a quiet room as requested. The breakfast was continental with delicious pastries and unlimited hot drinks via a machine. I was worried about the reviews regarding queues at breakfast but it didn't materialise...perhaps as it was a Sunday morning? Parking was a bit of a faff..the underground car park is shared with a residential accommodation. It would be a good idea for the hotel website to provide instructions to guests on how to access the car park and the charge for it. Staff were wonderful..thank you to the lovely lady who got us extra pillows and made our sofa bed which the day team had forgotten about.

« A great nights sleep, or two. »

Nearly new, clean and comfortable hotel less than 10 minutes walk from Ealing Broadway Underground and Overground Station. We were made very welcome by Maria on reception who answered our questions about local facilities. We were slightly amused by the décor bit grew to love it over our 2 day stay. All staff were pleasant and helpful. We were very comfortable in our room where everything was clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast met our morning dietary needs with a choice of hot drinks, cold juices, cereals, Danish pastries, French Bread, brown or white toast, cheese, good quality sliced ham, jams and Nutella chocolate spread. The breakfast area was a little small for the number of guests but we didn't encounter any delays getting our food and drinks on either day.We plan to go back again if when we visit London but want to avoid central London prices.

« Nice place with some issues »

Location is good in a busy area, about 8 minutes easy walk from Ealing Broadway Tube Station. The staff are friendly and efficient. Check-in was simple. The building is new and well laid out, except...(see below). The room was clean and comfortable but I wondered about the point of having the controls at the opposite end of the shower unit from the water. An in-room safe would be useful. The downside was breakfast - a complete shambles. The eating area is too small and the buffet area is much too small. It was a struggle to reach anything with some people forming queues and others going free-for-all! There was only one coffee machine and one toaster. Plates and cutlery tended to be in short supply. As regards the range of food, there was good choice of cereals and juice but not of bread. Just one type of cold meat and two almost identical types of cheese. There didn't appear to be anything hot available. Pastry range was ok. If the breakfast issues could be sorted out, I would return to this hotel and would recommend it.

« Disappointing »

I had better hopes of a brand new hotel. As a loyal Accor customer (with 4 years Platinum status) I’ve never had a worse experience. First impressions were bad - no reception desk, just a large red table which looked more like a promotion for a charity collection. Near the table was a scruffily dressed young men wearing a T shirt which said “Cereal Killers” on it. Having been completely ignored by him it eventually transpired that he was the receptionist. It wa difficult to check in due to communication difficulties caused by the over loud music. Having been given my payment card back while his back was towards me, he then walked off saying something inaudible, to the rear of the hotel. A few minutes later the general manager appeared, and explained the receptionist's absence by saying that they could not cut cards for “upgraded rooms” at the front desk. And he tried to justify the T shirt by saying it was part of the movie theme or the hotel. That didn’t work for me. Perhaps I’m getting old. I’m not convinced that I had an upgraded room anyway - I don’t believe that Ibis Styles hotels have a choice of room types. Either way, the room was also disappointing. It hadn’t been cleaned properly, including the toilet, and a mirror was covered in splatter of something. The front desk manager tried to redeem the situation by being very helpful when I was heading out for a meal, apologising for the experience to date and promising to send housekeeping to clean the toilet. She didn’t. While having a drink at the bar, when the front desk manager had left the red table unattended, two more people arrived to check in and asked where the front desk was. Clearly the red table doesn’t work. When checking out the following morning at around 9am there were 2 people queuing, and again nobody at the desk. I left my keys as instructed, but then had to email to request a VAT invoice rather than, as I expected, simply being sent one. Does any other hotel in London have no staff on reception at 9am? I will not be back.

Dear PaulWorc, Firstly please accept my humblest apologies for your experiences during your stay with us. I have noted your feedback regarding the service on arrival and the music and can confirm that all of the team have been retrained on the correct attitude we have come to pride ourselves on in the short space of time that we have been open. At the Ibis Styles London Ealing we have 3 room types, a standard double or twin bedded room or the very comfortable and large Family room which is just over 24sqm. I have also fed back to the head housekeeper regarding the toilet, however please note that the splatter effect on the mirror is part of the design and represents a faded movie reel. As a brand the ibis family of hotels are moving completely away from desks, replaced with team members in the welcome area readily available to assist, which clearly was not the case on your arrival and what you witnessed later, especially on departure. I do very much value your feedback and as such if you could please contact me directly on h9475-gm@accor.com, would be greatly appreciated? Kindest regards, Dominic
