« Noisy room. Bad aircon. »

The room sound proofing is very bad. I can hear doors slamming all night long. Aircon was too cold initially, after calling 3 times, a staff came to fix it. The aircon was so cold until my nose was blocked and caught a flu! The temperature cannot be adjusted. After fixing the aircon, the temperature was so hot, I was sweating and it was unbearable throughout the night. Even after the staff came to fix it, the temperature is still not adjustable. The check in was fast and staff is friendly. This stay was using the stay plus benefit. I strongly suggest that your staff should not inform me that there is no free upgrades for free rooms! Please phrase it in another way or just say that there is no available rooms for upgrades. Im not asking for an upgrade or demanding for one as I do understand that there are policies to follow. It makes me feels like there is no point being a loyal member to your accor brands and paying for the membership fees if the hotels are being stingy on the upgrades.

« Wonderful Staff make the difference! »

Thank you for a brilliant holiday. The moment we arrived Kari was wonderful and so helpful. Siva the manager at LeBar spoilt us at the bar and with his service at the Cliff Restaurant. The chef at the Cliff came out to meet us and speak about his food including his Nonna's pasta! His pasta is made with love to perfection! The staff are wonderful, the hotel gorgeous and our most favourite treat the Garra rufa fish nibbling our toes!

« Beautiful resort, friendly staff, can not wait to return »

Resort rooms are beautifully appointed with many luxurious touches. We enjoyed 3 nights here but wished we could have stay longer. Staff are helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Surrounds are beautiful and well maintained. Gym is fabulous. Walking distance to monorail and beach, buses available if you prefer. Buffet breakfast is extremely generous with many options. Several restaurants and spa on site. Relaxation guaranteed in this paradise.

« Wonderful Resort, Service a bit Inconsistent »

The resort is amazing, beautiful gardens, the peacocks, the pool (!), the room was great. The front of house staff were very good, as was housekeeping, but food and beverage was a bit inconsistent. We were on the Luxury Escapes package and nobody seemed to understand the benefits we were entitled to, nor were our vouchers actually clear on what the deal was. This led to confusion several times (welcome drink, 2-1 drink offers, 2 x wines for $20 etc)

On the whole, the staycation was nice. A birthday cake was placed in my room upon arrival and I was given late check out as an Accor Plus member. Unfortunately the TV network was down and I thought the staff could do better to fill that gap. I needed the TV to entertain kids and occupy time at night.

« Great Staycation »

We chose Sofitel for our 17th wedding anniversary as we wanted a relaxing staycation. We love the ambience and the meals we had at your hotel. The staffs at the restaurants n cafes were warm n made us felt welcome. The overall experience was a wonderful one. The only setback was the room tv was not working. We were not informed when we did our check in for our stay. Hope the hotel could inform their guests of any faults in the room if any. Thanks for making our staycation a memorable one. We will definitely make a comeback.

« Nice hotel but need improvement in customer service »

Overall facilities are great. However a lot of improvement needed for customer service. First of all, on the day of check in, no one direct us to the room. Not even pointing us out to the correct direction, we ended up finding the room by looking at the signboard and asking around. Then on the day of check out, I passed my luggage and a pack of storage bag with breast milk to the receptionist with very specific instruction to keep the storage bag with breast milk in freezer. And I reminded the lady at least 4 times. Then I saw the bag has a tag and being brought away. When I come back to collect it before departing to airport, no one can find the storage bag. No one. I was left not knowing the status until I get really furious because I have a 8pm flight to catch, and at that time was 6pm - with no one telling me what is going on. Really really depressing. Not at all impressed with how you manage the situation. At such, I asked to speak to your manager, and no one came. After a good 40-45 minutes, your staff came back with my bag - of course not chilled in freezer, only in chiller I supposed. And I think I overheard that your staff misplace it in some people's room. For a hotel to claimed themselves as luxury hotel, this is really unpleasant. I urge you to look into this seriously.

The room was clean and tidy. Shower and bed was comfortable However both the room and bathroom phones were spoiled, unable to call the reception for anything. Tv signal was lost on the 2nd day

« TV was down and car covers »

TV was down the whole stay. We were in the room much of the time we were there, so the lack of TV and entertainment was a bad experience for us. Even the basic local channels cannot be accessed. In a previous stay, my car parked at the carpark was attacked by a peacock and had very very bad scratches. We feedback to the staff when we realised this upon checkout and didnt get much help except the advice that the carpark had notices warning of this, and that car covers were available at the concierge. We used the car covers this time round and after removing it, found that the car was left very dirty after the use of car covers (powdery and many white patches and stains). Perhaps you can look into the cleaning of the car covers (even new ones may be powdery).

The room service was terrible, the phone would ring out 5 times before someone would answer (or you would have to go to reception to find someone) and then they took over 40 minutes to deliver a bucket of ice (for my daughter's broken arm). The service in Kwee Zeen was absolutely appalling - only 5 tables in the restaurant occupied with 6 staff and still couldn't get a drink, when we eventually got someone to take our order it too 25 minutes for the drinks to be delivered. Buffet breakfast services was also terrible and the food sub standard for a 5 star hotel. We were shown to our table at breakfast only to be told 5 minutes later that we couldn't sit there, it was for someone else and accused of taking someones table. We then had to go find another staff member to find us another table. There was a problem with the TV and it lost signal for the last 2 days of our stay (across the whole hotel). Whilst this may not have been the hotels fault, there was no communication from the hotel when this happened (no note under the door etc). Everyone was just left to keep pressing buttons and then eventually ring (which also rang out 6 times before someone answered) only to be told that there was a problem with the TV Provider. Sofitel is one of our favourite brands and we have stayed in many hotels and resorts across the world, but this would have to be our most unpleasant stay - we even checked out a day early!!

« My experience stay Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa »

Well, checking in at the hotel a bit slow even there are enough staffs serving at the counters. There are few problems popping out I suppose so for other visitors. The buffet dinner was nice and I enjoy most of the foods with my partner. We went there to take a look at the foods first and decided to taste them out. We are among the earliest customers and we left a bit late too as we ate what we like and chatting together in such a good environment. The staffs were good to serve us well too. After the dinner, my partner enjoy the leg spa near the LeBar while I enjoying the songs inside LeBar. Later, my partner join me for the music and songs together. We have our welcome drinks for beer and fruit punch. We like the cosy environment with good singer and pianist. We love the songs too. We then left for a walk after our drinks. We have a good sleep in the hotel room and we check out before 9 am without having our breakfast at the hotel as we have a busy Sunday schedule. Hopefully, we plan to come back again.
