The check in time took a bit longer than usual. The receptionist was supposed to contact once the room was ready. However she forgot and made me wait out at the beach area for over 2 hours. What was supposed to be a short walk from the swimming pool to Palawan beach ended up slightly longer as the beach access was closed off. My family and I had always come to stay at Sofitel Sentosa every year without fail. However this time round, the waiting time for a room and the queue to check in was too Long. There should be more staffs at the front desk.

Booked accommodation & checked in via AccorHotels website. Headed to Members’ desk but was directed away. Staff should have checked if I was a member. Though my room was “upgraded”, it was far from lobby & in need of upgrading. Mould in bathroom & water dripped from air con vent outside the bathroom. 2nd room was not ready because the bathroom sink was repaired but not dried. 3rd room was occupied by elderly parents who felt it was too far from lobby. Housekeeping was superb. Bathtub which was occupied & stained by ants was spotlessly cleaned. Rooms were close to gym but the equipment was Old & insufficient to meet the users. Compared to the previous stays at same hotel & Sofitel Auckland, this was definitely below par. Could not contact Front desk as staff was busy & notification / requests were not followed up or we had to repeat them. Dinner ordered via room service was good & promptly delivered. Nice to see familiar faces at concierge & cafe where good breakfast standard was maintained. Overall rating is 6. We frequent the hotel for Father’s Day weekend for the past few years & had looked forward to it. But we were disappointed.

First of all, I have to commend the staff you have on your team. They delivered great service and were attentive and patient. First impression - the room we got was really dusty. and had lots of ants in the bath tub and sink area. We loved the greenery outside our door but because of that, there were lots of mosquitoes. It would have been great to have a spray / coil / blue light in the room / outside the room. the one-time spray your housekeeping did for us did not help much. We ended up with lots of bites. The one thing that really spoilt our day was the cockroach we found in the bathroom. right after my Kid had her shower. It was very traumatic for her. We were offered a room change only after we went to the front desk but as we were settled in, we did not want to and asked for another round of cleaning. We waited for a while but when we went back, it didn't look like much was done. Pool was also a bit dirty. we sighted a lot of hair. So we did not stay long. Overall, the experience was not very pleasant considering it was for my Husband's birthday weekend. But as mentioned, your staff made it better. So kudos to them.

The stay was great - comfortable room, good breakfast, great coffee. On arrival we were told our room for two with breakfast included only included breakfast for one. This is not what the booking said - it said room for two, breakfast included (2 nights). Thus, our first impression was being charged an additional $32++ x 2 nights so we could have breakfast. Very disappointing. It was suggested that this was our fault as when we booked online we somehow missed an option button that said 2 people for breakfast. This has never happened before and we are frequent travellers. The Italian restaurant was nice. Great food. Service started well, but slowed after main course served. Nice pool. Shame the beach access steps were closed.

we had issues with the holding deposit that was charged on our card. We were not keen on paying it and were happy to pay our bills as we go considering we had prepaid our stay well in advance Really bad experience and food was below average as well Nothing noteworthy except the pool

The layout of the place, rooms and greenery gave the most relaxing and serene atmosphere. The warm reception of the bellhop, the attentive yet non-intrusive efficiency of the waiters at kweezeen, the spot-on meal recommendations of the chefs plus the personalized note left by our room attendant / cleaner who identified himself made us extremely pleased and beyond satisfied with our stay there. We’ve stayed in Sofitel Munich, Philippines etc... but none of them comes close to the splendor of our Sofitel Sentosa experience!

Staff were mainly pleasant and a strong mention to Alex in Le Bar for his conversation and great service. On another note, we wanted to eat at the Italian restaurant and asked a waiter at approx 6PM and where abruptly informed by the restaurant waiter that there was no room and they are booked till 9 PM. Made us feel unwanted & not welcome. Also, when calling the service desk it sometimes took several minutes for the phone to be answered. When, I wanted to order a breakfast the night before by phone it took two visits by a person with little English to deliver the order menu, which did not contain the English breakfast. A few phone calls and approx. half an hour later another person took our order by phone. Aircon not working properly in the bedroom had to turn off as it would not regulate and dropped to 18.5 C inside room. Very frustrating.

The overall feel about the place is that is it is rather worn out and the rooms are not exactly very modern. The bath room drainage was clogged and water was draining very slowly. Honestly for this amount for the room. I could have gotten a better one elsewhere.

The aircon in guestroom wasn't working so technician came to fix it. He said the main switch outside had been turned off (why??). After an hour it still wasn't cool at all. We were moved to another villa but it was a great distress for me to pack everything last min. In the end I got extra 2 persons breakfast for the next day but the thing is I thought we already had breakfast for 4 since the villa was a 2 bedroom.... I ordered 10 cans of tonic water which cost 80 bucks. Would have been nice to get that on the house for all the trouble we went thru. Aircon malfunction is something that should've been spotted by house keeping or someone before guests even check in. The room was like a sauna. Horrible experience.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Sofitel Sentosa for their warm hospitality. Everybody is so helpful, happy and accommodating. I wish I could go to the Spa every week ... it was amaaaaziiiing!!! The restaurants have a nice variety of dishes and all are delicious. I enjoyed my time spent by the pool relaxing as well. Every experience was unforgettable and I would highly recommend Sofitel Sentosa to anyone considering a vacation in Singapore.

stay and room was good. the only thing we feel disappointed is the morning Bf at Kwee Zee. Variety is getting lesser and lesser than before. food was abit of disappointment. hopefully you will improve on that.

Upgraded to a family suite at the time of check in which included breakfast but somehow, this wasn’t informed to the people working the breakfast counter - had to “prove it” by going back to the lobby to check. It was annoying. Furniture in the family suite was dated. Sheets had holes in them, cupboards had many scratches. Swimming pool area was nice. Requested for a complimentary birthday cake. Cake was dry. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. Just not up to the amount that we paid for.

The overall experience was very good. Our only complaint relates to extremely poor hair drier location that made it almost impossible to use. There is no excuse for having such a poor installation when earth leakage circuit breakers have been in existence for over 20 years. Time to get your act together in regard to this.
