The hotel décor was lively and engaging, the room had great amenities and the staff was very helpful. I especially appreciated when they emailed me to let me know that I forgot items in the room after checking out. They packed the items and sent them to me at my work location. This was exceptional service!!!

Everything went fine, excluding 1,5 h total electrical break in the hotel. Hotel has all required facilities for one week business trip. I have been staying in the area many times before, but this was first time staying in Novotel Sorocaba. Will be staying there also next time.

Good, but can be improved 1) I expect to refill the coffee and sugar pouches on daily basis. When I was there I noticed that my coffee & sugar was empty many days. 2) You can add tooth brush & tooth paste 3) Cloth Iron can also be added, as this facility is part of most 5 star hotel

Pleasant stay overall. Clean, friendly, great location, nice hotel restaurant and bar, heat in the room when needed to take the damp chill away would be nice, even if is a portable heaters. Magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be helpful.

Overall, stay was good. Few areas for improvement. The service at the restaurant is very slow; it should not take 2 hours to have a meal in the evenings. I do have one serious complaint: I was extremely annoyed that the front desk agent forced me into making an advance payment for my stays. I am a frequent business traveler and this has never happened to me before. In prior visits to Accor hotels, I have been asked for a guarantee on my credit card, however, never an advanced payment. My hotel reservation did not mention anything about an advanced payment. It also creates a hassle because I need to submit multiple invoices for reimbursement purposes. Please fix this asap!

For some reason, your hotel can never bill correctly. There are always food charges on the bill that should not be there. I do not know if your staff is incompetent or stealing from me. This is the second time in a row that I have left your hotel with billing issues. It will definitely be the last since I will no longer stay at the Novotel.

Experience was good, except the wrong billing amount was put on me during checkout. I did not expect such mistake. Amount was not large but receptionist made a wrong transaction even after correcting the mistake when I reviewed the bill. That was the disappointment. I hope it wont repeat in future.
