Reasonable stay considering a "budget" hotel with not a so much budget rate

For a budget hotel with not a so much budget rate, it was a reasonable stay, based on the location and the staff responsiveness. The room was reasonable with quite comfortable beds, the TV was a 1950s model, no smart system nor basic cable TV, consequently we were stuck with the open channels(in Brazil nothing worthwhile watching). We were given an accessible room, even though there was no special needs person in our party. The bathroom, well the toilet was partially jammed with the last guests stool, leaving quite a smell, when communicated to the front desk they promptly informed they would change our room, but we were already installed and did not move as we were able to clear the block with various flushes and the hot water from the mobile shower piece. The point here is that the room should have never been available in the first place with such an open issue. Another point is that the shower box had no soap/shampoo holders!!!!! Where are we supposed to put the soap and shampoo while in the shower, on the floor? Come on these pieces aren´t expensive and are quite easy to install. Unfortunately I will be surely avoiding the Ibis Budget chain in the future considering the cost/benefit ratio does not justify the stay, except for the front desk and restaurant team.
