Thank you for being able to supply (and bring it to my room) the toothbrush and -paste late at night! Just happened to forget mine at home. It should be standard service in every hotel. Overall very good human service at reception desk! PS: Next time ask if you need an invoice for a company, or just private person (as by default).

no Mercure Standard. refurbishing required for walls - paint bubbles from walls, bathroom not equipped for people with handicap - access to shower very uncomfortable, no fixing points, hot water only for shower, not at small washing dish breakfast tables not cleaned on time, only one cup of butter - placed in front of toaster?!?

Very helpful and professional staff. Room clean, but a bad smell from the shower drain was not addressed despite being raised on three separate occasions.

I had a very comfortable stay at the Hotel - just disappointed that the restaurant was closed for a 'private function' on the two days that I wanted to eat at the hotel. Whilst I was happy to eat at the Bar, the full restaurant menu was not available. I would have liked to try a Latvian pizza, but that will have to wait until next time!!

It was my third stay with Mercure. Two out of three times (this last one included) I was put in Privilege room (to my understanding and according to the note on the door). The room was spacious, all those teas and coffees are wonderful (not that I tried everything, but just the fact that they are there is huge), and how awesome it is to find all those tiny things in the bathroom. I forgot to bring toothpaste, so it was a pleasant surprise for me again. It all starts with the receptionist - and the guy was great. He helped me out without a hesitation when I could not access my room for some reason. I had supper in the restaurant-bar in the eve of the stay. I was confused if I need to come to the bar and make an order - but, since I waited for the menu for some time, I thought this was the idea. Maybe I know too little about bar-restaurants, but it could be nice if waiters give people a hint, when they are passing by a million times. The food was great (beetroot risotto). Thumbs up for the breakfast, too. What I did not get at all is how people are supposed to cross the street. There was some construction happening beside, so you could not turn there, and there was no pedestrian crossing visible nearby - so basically you have to run through the street! I was without car, and a simple thing as this (well, simple, but dangerously executed) made me feel uncomfortable.

Another very pleasant stay in Mercure Riga hotel. Fast, friendly and welcoming reception, who allowed us to check-in even a bit earlier. The hotel was clean and quiet as usually, the room we got was spacious, fresh and clean. Breakfast was just excellent as always, good variety of different food!

Hotel was excellent, and all services offered by the hotel were on very good level. But unfortunately somebody made a significant cratch with another car to my vehicle at the hotel parking place. Unfortunately I discovered this result some hours later at the next gasoline station already in Lithuania.
