I was preparing (mentally) for a rough week in IST. Trade show. Endless meetings with clients. I chose the Pullman property b/c in previous stays (at other properties) everything was simply perfect. Cleaniness of the room. Amenities. Access to the Executive Lounge...even a super breakfast spread. For the Pullman Istanbul property, not a single one of these boxes gets ticked. Hands down the slowest WiFi I've encountered in quite some time. The maid service stopped refilling Nespresso pellets on the second day and apparently didn't understand the note "PLEASE LEAVE COFFEE" note I left next to the machine. The Executive Lounge was closed and no alternative arrangements were made. :((( Pullman People, please accept this constructive criticism and roll up your sleves and start taking care of your loyal customers....or they will go elsewhere.

I was in 1428 it was a very nice room but the only problem was there was no health fauset in the washroom. Rest the people at reception and breakfast were really good.

The person who checked me in was very good and had very good customer service skills. The building has had a lot of money spent on it and spa was beautiful but that’s where its investment ends. After that point there was so many disappointments that I cannot know where to start. Everything was too much effort. There was more importance given to following protocol than making people feel valued. Wasn’t told about meal times and then turned up for lunch and told sternly by 2 guys that lunch was over and expected to leave. I had to pay separately for alacarte lunch when I had paid for a package. The room given to me had a nespresso machine. I asked 3 times for pods and non sent. I was told that it is charged extra on one occasion. Coffee was weak filter coffee. You expect better quality and variety beverages and juices for 5 star hotel. I asked for latte one day-they said you have to pay for it. Pullman in KL on jalan Conlay was totally different. Extensive savoury selection but poor fruit selection. Crass orange juice that looked like it was made of powder. Staff need English and major customer service skills. I see this as failure of management not the staff as a couple of young staff were personable. On last day I needed some olive oil (less than 10ml). I put in a glass little pot used for honey. Waiter ran to the door and took out of my hand saying not allowed. Turkish hospitality is renowned and exceptional. This was dreadful. On the last day I asked if I could extend my checkout, they said no as it was full. Even in low star hotels, they give 30minutes as a grace or respect to guests. The concierge staff were nice.

In comparison to my last 2 experiences with Accor Hotel, my 3-week stay with Pullman Istanbul is such a let down. If not for your lovely and very friendly Front Office/ reception/ personnel, İrem Subaşır, as well as her colleague who checked me in on April 28th and Murat from the Hotel Lounge, I would have rated my overall experience as 4, the highest.

Receptionists and bell boys were excellent. Restaurant (Thursday evening) and conference waiters were of a sub standard. They did not care they were not smartly dressed, trousers were either old or too big, when approached did not understand English and could not help you in the limited time we had for breaks. The buffet for lunch and evening meal was not very appetising for your standard of hotel. Where were freshly cooked vegetables and fish, everything was cooked in a sauce! My vegan colleagues had the choice of salad, noodles rice and egg plant purée which was slightly burnt, so they opted for the deserts instead to fill up on. They were good. Overall very limited and disappointing. For soft drinks were served from litre bottles kept on the side not in ice. The consultant who I was with asked for a cold zero cola he was presented with a drink with one cube of ice picked out of ice bucket with fingers! I asked for a bottle of beer, we do not do bottles was the reply! The night before in the same restaurant I was served with a bottle of beer! Your hotel provided different standards to conference attendees compared to paying full guests. As a result you let your hotel and Accor down. If I had stayed at an Ibis the service I received at the Pullman would be what I would expect.

I was there only short time for a business trip. I got a nice and large hotel room. I like the bathroom with large shower. Everything what every woman needs was in the bathroom. The bedroom is large with very comfortable bed. Everything was clean. The cousine was exquisite. The hotel staff were lovely, kind, warm and helpful. I enjoyed a stay in the hotel. It is a pitty that I could stay there short time only.
