There is no issue with the rooms and the bathroom but the absence of connecting to internet in the room is totally inacceptable. If you get internet in the lobby, it should be possible in the rooms.

The hotel has been booked by AF due to strikes and Aircraft being stuck at the time of departure. All PAX have been transferred to Hotel IBIS. Room and bed were fine, though the sound-insulation is not really good for a new construction. WiFi-connection is absolutely awful and not acceptable. Not working, interrupting at all times and super-slow. Impossible to create a work-environment at the hotel. I could barely read my mails on the phone. Something shall be done at the quality of the food, which is well below average.

« Beautiful fantastic place except for the internet »

My stay was good, I love the rooms, the design and architecture of the whole place, the sporting facilities from swimming pool to tennis, simply fantastic. The internet though, I only have one word, extremely terrible. You can only access internet at the reception, the rooms have zero internet. Even worse when you have an iPhone it keeps asking for your debit/credit card info before you log in. So one opts to not even log in. We live in a modern world and internet is very important, even for Work. If you can improve on one thing, please improve on the wifi internet, that would just make the place perfect

The experience was not bad either but cons are like rooms are very much small, mosquitoes are there in reception lobby, wifi not working, tv was also not working fine, I believe options for light in room was restricted, the quality of drinking water supplied smells and pros are breakfasts was good, reception staff were very good...

« not worth the high cost for poor services and amenities »

Initial room assigned had a strong smell of sewage. when advised, the staff tried to convinced me and my colleague that it was not possible without actually going to check the room. we advised them that we would not take the rooms assigned and they had to change rooms. I stayed at the Ibis la Tchadienne during a recent work trip during which I was expecting to have access to an internet connection that would allow me to do work while in the hotel. I was advised that the internet was working perfectly. Carrying 2 iPhones mobile phones, 1 Android phone, and a laptop, I was never able to get a steady connection to the network in the hotel. I was advised multiple times that the "internet was working perfectly" and yet I was never able to connect. Most guests that I interacted with had the same feedback. it seemed that the staff was advised to provide simple contradicting messaging to all guests complaining about the internet. Additionally, when I checked out, I was advised that I would have to pay cash for my stay as the credit card machine was not working. I was directed to an ATM in the nearby Novotel and advised that Ibis would only take cash. this was very inconvenient and staff did not try to make any accommodation to help in any way. I will not recommend this hotel to my colleagues traveling to the area. the rooms are overly expense for poor customer service and no amenities

The layout and comfort of the hotel is clean and just as you might find in any major European 3 star Ibis hotel. The Staff are helpful and smile and I would stay again if only a few things were fixed. The first - there was no internet for my entire stay. There is a signal and you get given a logon, but it never works and times out constantly. I was unable to do any work or emails for my entire stay - this pretty much makes the hotel unworkable for any business guest - for this reason alone, I will stay elsewhere next time. The second point was having "working ladies" in the reception/bar area. I did not want to be harassed each night by ladies offering me "a massage". Unprofessional and not what you would expect, the staff and security know what is going on here and they allow it freely.

Very practical room will all the necessities. Limited choice of TV channels (even for news) Unreliable internet service. Not just in rooms but also in lobby Very nice breakfast buffet and airport shuttle available at 2 am ! Very pleasant staff (reception, housekeeping)

Overall, the hotel location is good, the building is good, the room is nice, the bed and toilets are comfortable, but on the other hand, There is no internet access in the room, at the lobby, internet is not stable, and the TV images quality is below acceptable level.

Poor payment options as my company(Baker Hughes) employees uses visa card only and your hotel do not have the facility for visa card payment. Poor internet services as I have to change room to be able to use the internet, the television in my room was not even clear/stable for me to watch. your room service rate is even higher than the hotel I stayed the last time I visited Ndjamena and they their services in the issues I raise here are good. Regards.

« No help to take bags in rooms up/down »

The welcome service left much to be desired. There is no lift and I had to take my heavy bags myself to my rooms. I would have understood it if there were lift like in other ibis hotels even budget level I stayed in Europe. This is totally unacceptable and needs to be improved. The other thing is, there was no Internet for many days and no solution was provided. However, other services were fine.

I enjoyed the clean environment and fiendly staff. However, the internet connection wasnt up to my expectation and I had to use my phone's hotspot during the entire stay. Also, I didnt get any complementary drink despite the fact that it's a priviledge to accor members. I have noticed in the past that I had to request it which feels like begging. This time round I didnt ask for it although I gave my membership number and didnt get it. It would be great if such advantages are automatic because then guests feel their loyalty reward otherwise it's tricky.
