The experience was satisfying and hotel staff were helpful and very fluent in English despite I know Japanese. The mattress was very comfortable and there are a bit more western food to choose at breakfast than other japanese hotels but if there are a bit more choice that would be even better

Everything which we got from all staffs is very good. Breakfast is great. However, please take care older staffs so much. I know Kyoto has the aged society problem but I'm afraid some older staffs will be unhealthy with wrong ergonomics. Please take care them. Thank you so much.

I will try to keep it short: Super friendly and helpful staff! I booked a Twin room. The room was ideal and the hotel was right next to the train station which made it really easy to get anywhere. The breakfast was great too. They have a buffet ranging from mainly, but not only, Japanese breakfast. But who goes to Japan not wanting to eat Japanese :-) I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will definitely be staying in this hotel when I come back to Kyoto!

This was my first time staying at this hotel. When I made my reservation, I expected to receive very basic services; just like any other Ibis Styles hotels. I chose to stay at this hotel just because of its price and strategic location. But, it seemed that I got more than I expected. The check-in process was fast; the male staff (who served me at the Accor desk on 21 July around 2.30pm) was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, tidy, cozy and quite spacious (for Japanese hotel standard). Every single thing in my room worked properly. The Internet access was superb. The breakfast was varied and tasted really good. The staff serving breakfast at the restaurant were helpful. I really can't complain.

Was very convenient location. Good breakfast. Room is small but suits a travellers need. Good that is has some English tv channels. Having a fridge also handy in the room. I was very concerned after reading others reviews but couldn’t fault the hotel and customer service. The only thing would have made it my ideal hotel would have been a gym. We stayed at another hotel in Tokyo and this hotel was much better. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and I looked forward to lying down. The room is cleaned every day. I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Location perfect next to Kyoto Station. Staff superb--friendly and completely reliable. Room immaculate and comfy. BBC TV in English. Breakfast included--western and Japanese items sufficient to get one through the day. Computer in lobby. Even NY Times in lobby. Kyoto Station perfect for local transportation everywhere.

The room was adequate but the internet connection was quite poor No staff explained to us that the password for the lobby use was not able to be used in the room. When I enquired on our second day I was told to access information on the TV. This still did not work.

The room is tidy and clean. The two beds in my room is movable so that we can move together to let my very little daughter to sleep with us at the middle. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located very near the Kyoto JR station. The breakfast is good also. Meanwhile, the hotel may consider to welcome each visitor a bottle of water.

The bed was extremely small, pillows too soft, bathroom too small and breakfast was terrible although reception staff were wonderful and polite. I have to mention the view was spectacular from other rooms but ours opening a window looking at a construction site wasn't appealing at all.

« A hotel I would recommend and stay at again and again. »

Very happy with the location and great room service everything was clean and tidy and we especially loved having the use of the handy device. Highly recommend this hotel. The only negative would be the restaurant for breakfast was very hot and closed in there wasn’t enough space for everyone. A different layout of the restaurant would have been better and working air conditioning.
